Sonnet: When Kinship Fight …

Two women fight: one is my own sister!
The other is my better half- my wife;
Husband to one: to the other, brother;
What only can a man do in his life?

Two men quarrel: one is your own husband;
The other, your belov’d elder brother;
A woman can’t one of them reprimand,
Nor end the fight: some things she mustn’t bother1

When adults fight within the kindred, then,
The embarrassment can’t be told by words;
The bond of love can’t ever be broken!
At times, mankind behaves worse off than herds!

Mere prayers, patience, peace-making efforts
Undo the harm done by loose word that hurts!
