Sonnet: God Protects His Righteous Souls

The devils play a clever game in life;
Denied of position long over-due,
They cause tussle between husband and wife,
And start off monetary problems new!

Chaos afills my workplace once again;
Misunderstandings ’mongst relatives start;
My call to friends for help goes up in vain;
Good souls who favor me quickly depart.

The Holy Spirit in me gives me hope;
My faith renewed takes me to God’s own words;
In short a span, I’ve learnt problems to cope;
God promised man much better things than birds!

My heart is free once more and mind is sane;
God turns into my boon, what was my bane!
