Sonnet: Everything's a Mystery

Why the One God allows a few to thrive,
By sucking blood of poorer fellowmen?
And why the innocents are burnt alive?
How long it takes for justice from Heaven?

Yet, no one knows why things happen like this;
Our earth is turning uninhabitable;
And no one knows when comes our woes or bliss;
No government or leader looks stable.

And if the Sun doesn't come, all is a mess;
And if the Sun doesn't shine, it is still worse;
And when the breeze will come, no one can guess;
When God rewards or when comes Heaven's curse!

Aye, everything's a mystery on earth;
And what happens till death, after our birth?
