Sonnet: Act Per God's Ways

What one day brings, another takes away;
Nothing is constant in our earthly-life;
Just like how comes the night, follows the day;
Just like how comes some joy, follows too strife.

When failures come, success is always nigh;
Defeat is just a step for more success;
Cowards or brave must one day surely die;
Emotions vary from naught to excess.

A content man has peace of mind and heart;
He worries not of present, future, past;
He does whatever he can right from start;
The thought of Death can't make him look aghast.
To live the way God wants, is noblest act;
To die the way God wants is nobler fact.
