Sonnet- The World's End Comes At God's Time

When water boils at hundred centigrade,
Why waste more fuel making it boil fast?
No matter, how you boil, it can’t degrade,
The steam cools off to form the water past.

The state of matter can he changed by men;
But God has created matter constant;
The minds of men cannot better God, then;
God knows each ray of Sun that falls aslant.

The end of world, cannot be brought by men,
However wicked or intelligent;
God knows when things should happen, how often,
His ways of thinking are quite different.

Few men on earth dare not decide future;
The Maker lone has pow'r over Nature.
