Sonnet- Nothing Can Me Depress

When lived I'd in most righteous and sane way,
And honesty had been my policy;
Expect I didn't limelight quick any day,
Nothing can me depress as I keep busy.

When wavered not, I'd much from my said word,
And struggled I’d to reach my present state;
And join I didn't any unscrupulous herd,
Life teaches me newer lessons till date.

When life had been cruel and yet so kind,
And God had been my only Friend for long;
Pleasures and sorrows both in life I find,
Cannot affect my earthly life's weird song.
Who can depress in life me hereafter?
I have become a Poet cum Doctor.
