A Wishing Star

A wish to be granted
is a wish to be heard,
A star passes through
the earth's atmosphere,
Filling the night with
peaceful dreams.

I never doubt a single wish,
I say it with meaning,
Knowing every wish will be
granted,
Making this night special and
magical.

A wishing star will always keep
a promise,
If you open your heart and say
your wish with truth and meaning,
That is how you know your wish
will be granted.

'Thank you, wishing star, for
listening.'
Until the next time I see a
wishing star,
I will be waiting and ready to
make another wish.
