Within A Sigh

The golden threads at sunrise
and the crimson glow at sunset
bring joy to everyone’s eyes.
The insects that scurry around
and the birds that fly high in the sky
take the breath away within a sigh.

We live in a world of wonders
that sadly passes us by.
Miracles happen every moment,
but we pass them with blind eyes.
We are too busy to ever see the things
that take the breath away within a sigh.

One day we may stop
and finally wake up
when all the miracles are gone
and will never have that chance
to change things back to when
they used to take the breath away within a sigh.
