Sleep

Sometimes we fear to sleep
in case we don’t wake up again.
We fight the sleep
our bodies so desperately need
to rejuvenate itself again.

We fight because we fear death,
but death comes to us all.
The question of when we will never know.
It is no use fighting it,
as it will come when it is ready to take us away.

In the meantime, we should
enjoy every minute of everyday.
Tomorrows will look after themselves
as tomorrows always do.
So if your body needs sleep.
Just let it have it and sleep, sleep, sleep.
