Right Roads

Sometimes we have to detour
to get back on the right road.
We stop at different places
and get a little lost at times.
Something or someone
then comes along to guide us
back to the road where we belong.
Life has this way with us
when we’ve turned our dreams away.
It steers us to something or someone
to guide us along the way.
Once back on the right road
we find ourselves again
and travel down it happily
with a new purpose we’ve acquired.
As we go along that road
we inspire others to do the same
so they can find their dreams
and hold their personal fame.
