Ego

I read in the newspaper
a has-been pop star
wouldn’t get out of bed
for less than thirty grand.
Sadly, for him his ego
doesn’t know how much
he really worth,
not a lot at all.
One day when the ego slips
and he comes crashing
down to reality,
he’ll find his imaginary world
is left far behind,
along with his big head.
