A Song Of Love

A song of love
is the sweetest song,
any mortal will ever hear.
It is sung by a choir of angels,
with cherub faces,
and long golden flowing hair.

The song of love
is the silvery glint,
on a moonstone,
captured by one’s eye.
The bright twinkle,
which holds a heavenly sigh.

The song of love
is the stars that rush around your head.
The smile so serine,
that entraps the lonely heart.
The music that sweeps you off your feet,
and leaves you dancing in the air.

The song of love
is the sweetest song,
any mortal will ever hear.
It starts with the first kiss,
which leaves you wanting more,
and will never let you go.
