A Five Minutes Of Fame

Everyone wants a golden moment
that they can call their own
to show the world
they are a worthy individual.
A five minutes of fame, they call it,
when many know your name.

Everyone gets their five minutes of fame.
Mine came over a year ago
and it is still on the gain.
I waited years and years for it.
Now I have got it
I don’t know what to do with it.

Some people say
I should go with the flow.
I guess that is easy to do.
Others say I should analyse it.
I guess I could do that too,
but my problem is where do I start?
