Christmas

A glimmer slowly seen,
and then, hope burned,
in the cold cavern.
and knowing slowly caught.

This is Christmas,
light and dark,
and darkness dims
and natures canvas
paints, the inner meaning,
born in a cave.
The first etch of redemption.
