You don't know
You never did

I won't tell you
It'll ruin what we have

I hope your happy
I hope she is too

I hope she deserves you
And that she doesn't desert you

You'll probably break up
Then get back together

And you'll come to me
To help mend your heart

And I'll do it to
Even if I want to be more

I'll be loyal to you
I won't betray you

I hope you see
One day

That I was always
The person who stood

Right at your side through
All of the craziness of life

Maybe I'll have met someone
Between now and later

And you'll have missed
your chance

I just hope to find
Someone like you
