Hearts Like Ice

A Heart like ice
Lies cold and untouchable
Wrapped in a protective shield
Hiding from pain
It feels nothing at all

A Heart like ice
As unfeeling as a stone
Locked in a cage they created
Emotions are muted
Feelings of love are gone
Her heart like ice stays cold
