Kamikaze and Hara-kiri

a glorious
duty of fate,
wonderful to give and die;
letting other to live
in a country
that gives, and share
blood to pave
the light
to a
mighty race

a nation that is great

as the
wilderness echo
its whisper of
Mt. Fuji
the horizon of the sea,

sings its
perfect melody;
echoes
in the island of
destiny, the land of the
free as the
rising sun
reflects the mirror
of eternity

set to
blooms the
Cherry blossom trees in
the midst
of the wondering
land of
the people

who wish to live in
peace, Long live JAPAN
