Listen

Listen be aware
Hear the sounds
What do you hear
The wind blowing

Birds singing
Plane flying overhead
Children playing
Dogs barking

Listen at what you hear
Music playing
Bee's buzzing
Train a coming

A prayer
A secret being told
Maybe a lie
A true confession

Screaming in the night
A soft cry
Someone pleading for help
Car going by

A heart beating
Softly in the night
A song in the air
