Woman’s concerns

A wife adopts her husband’s name;
Also adopts her husband’s home.
To compensate it, she values parents.
A penny from them is a pound;
A bruise to them is a wound.
Her concerns wipe out her absence.

Thoughts Of A Fool

I had a love and it was all mine
I drove her out, I mustve been blind
Thats the thoughts of a fool thinking out loud
She loved me so, but I was untrue
Shes gone for good, what can I do
Thats the thoughts of a fool thinking out loud
Theres not a thing that I can say about her
Except I dont know how Im going to live without her
I had a love and it was all mine
I watched it fade a kiss at a time
Thats the thoughts of a fool thinking out loud
Thats the thoughts of a fool thinking out loud

What Kind Of Fool Am I

I wonder who shes seeing tonight
Is she really going out with him
Hes not her type
And doing all the things she used to do to me
Well, Id say something to her
But I get so jealous
When I think of her loving somebody else
That I cant think why we ever let go
I must have been crazy
Tell me what kind of fool am i
To just let go,
To just let go like that
What kind of fool am i
To lose you
She was cold sometimes
But she made me feel alive
She was such a spoiled baby
But baby, she could love
And she loved me like nobody ever will again
I thought wed be together
When the world ran down
When the curtain fell and the lights came up
But the gods or whatever make the world go round
Shuffled when they should have cut
Tell me what kind of fool am i
To just let go,
To just let go like that
What kind of fool am i
To lose you
Did it come too easy to the two of us
Did we go too wrong to ever make it right
Were we too busy checking out the left hand
That we didnt see the right
Tell me what kind of fool am i
To just let go,
To just let go like that
What kind of fool am i
Oh baby, please, oh baby, please come back
I meant to say in time
Baby we could work it out
But I never meant to say goodbye
Tell me what kind of fool am i
What kind of fool am i
What kind of fool am i
To lose you

The Sunken Crown

Nothing will hold him longer—let him go;
Let him go down where others have gone down;
Little he cares whether we smile or frown,
Or if we know, or if we think we know.
The call is on him for his overthrow,
Say we; so let him rise, or let him drown.
Poor fool! He plunges for the sunken crown,
And we—we wait for what the plunge may show.

Well, we are safe enough. Why linger, then?
The watery chance was his, not ours. Poor fool!
Poor truant, poor Narcissus out of school;
Poor jest of Ascalon; poor king of men.—
The crown, if he be wearing it, may cool
His arrogance, and he may sleep again.

Any Other Fool

(dianne warren)
I couldnt see paradise right before my eyes
When I had you here by my side
I didnt know that no-one else
Could ever take your place
But, now I know
I know that I should have stayed
And seeing you tonight
I only wonder why
I ever said goodbye
Any other fool would never walk away
Even a fool would still be there
Holding you
Any other fool would know I never
Should have let you go
I had it all as any fool could see
Any other fool but me, oh, ahh, oh
Anyone else never would have let the feeling die
Anyone else would have fought to keep it alive
If they were in my shoes
Theyd know the love we had
Was love too good to lose
Any other fool would never walk away
Even a fool would still be there
Holding you
Oh, any other fool would know
I never should have let you go
I had it all when you were loving me
I had it all as any fool could see
Any other fool but me, oh, oh, oh
I had it all when you were loving me
I had it all as any fool could see
Any other fool but me
Any other fool would never walk away
Even a fool would still be there
Holding you
Oh, any other fool would know
Never should have let you go
Had it all as any fool could see
Any other fool but me
Oh, oh, oh
Even a fool would still be there holding you
Any other fool would know
I never should have let you go
I had it all as any fool could see

Freedom

Written by stevie nicks and mike campbell.
Dim and wavering
On a wind-blown night
Whose honour, whose anger
Cold and quivering
As was the wind-blown night
Into which shed fallen, fallen
Freedom, well its a thing that is fleeting
Freedom is standing next to you
My intentions were clear
I was with him
Everyone knew
Poor little fool
Beautiful as you are
With that high spirit
Morning star of evil hit me
Cut me like a knife
Cool and collected
She became that with time
Totally rejected
Freedom, well its a thing that is fleeting
Freedom is standing next to you
My intentions were clear
I was with him
Everyone knew
Poor little fool
Its all in the eyes
Its all in the way that you look
Its all in the way that you say very little
Its all in the way that you talk
Look at me with daggers
It wont do you any good
All the looks that youve used on me
Dont work now that youve fallen, fallen, fallen
Freedom, well its a thing that is fleeting
Freedom is standing next to you
My intentions were clear
I was with him
Everyone knew
Poor little fool
Look at me with daggers
It wont do you any good
All the looks that youve used on me
Dont work now that youve fallen
All the looks that youve used on me
Dont work now that youve fallen
Freedom
Freedom
Everyone knew
Poor little fool
Poor little fool
Poor little fool
Freedom
Come with me
Poor little fool
Freedom

Together Forever

Where are you now?
I'm thinking of you.
Could anything now,
Maybe come true?

When the moonlight,
Comes out at last,
We'll be together,
Never to pass,

Oh, I can think of you
Right now with me.
And I know that you,
Now feel the same way too,

Yeah, You and me,
Can you see?
We were meant to be.

And when you realize,
That we were meant to be,
I'll think of you,
You'll think of me,
My dream came true.
We were meant to be,
Together, Forever.

When I Write These Lines

when i write these lines it is as good as
thrown paper, some words are written but
they are meant to be discarded because they have
occupied much of sadness
worn out memories
overused mumblings

they are meant to be crumpled
and thrown away

this one, this one is not meant to be kept
it is written
but meant simply to be deleted

some words are meant to be said
and be forgotten
because of pain and because they do not mean anything anymore.
goodbye lines, goodbye
take your time, there will be a little waiting
until another fool takes you in
another poet in the state of an inevitable
writer's block

Who Will The Next Fool Be

Writers: leo sayer & david courtney
Falling -- oh, oh, Im falling
Falling so deep in love with you
But you say that
Only a fool could fall in love
With a girl like you
If thats the truth
What have I got to lose?
And I wonder who -- I wonder who
Who will the next fool be
Will it be me?
I wonder who
Can you tell me please
Who will the next fool be
Could it be me?
Lonely -- Im so lonely
Maybe, maybe youre lonely to
So dont spend your time
Just sitting around
Wondering who will he be
Who will the next fool be?
Let it be me
Im the one you need
Can you tell me please?
Who will the next fool be?
Let it be me -- I dont mind
Falling -- oh, oh, Im falling
Falling -- what can I do
Thinking a girl like you
Could fall for a fool like me
Who will the next fool be
Could it be me?
Can you tell me please
When you make up your mind
Who will the next fool be?
Let it be me

Militarism is basically a way of thinking, a certain interpretation of the function of the state; this manner of thinking is, moreover, revealed by its outer forms: by armaments and state organization.

A Small Plot Of Land

Poor soul
Spit upon that
Poor soul
He never knew what hit him
And it hit him so
Poor dunce
He pushed back the pigmen
The barbs laughed
The fool is dead
Poor dunce
Hes less than within us
The brains talk
But the will to live is dead
And prayer cant
Travel so far these days
The talk of your life
Standing so near
To innocent eyes
Poor dunce
Swings thru the tunnels
And claws his way
Is small life so manic
Are these really the days
Poor dunce
Poor dunce
Poor soul
Poor soul
Poor soul

i was thinking about Jesus
i was thinking about robbing a bank
thinking about the band a playin'
while the Titanic sank
thinking 'bout salvation
thinking about getting free
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?

i was thinking about generations
i was thinking about saving grace
i was thinking about truth and lies
thinking about flesh and lace
thinking about redemption
and rivers running to the sea
thinking and a wondering
do you ever think about me?

i was thinking about the Dharma
'bout Martin Luther King
thinking about Merle Haggard
thinking about James Dean
thinking about the costs of war
about moral depravity

Actually Some Poems Are Not Meant To Be Understood

forgive me but my poems are not meant to be understood
they are simply meant to be felt
like silk to your hands
just let the feeling slide and it is complete

it is just like a description of something that suddenly passed
you think it is a ghost but it is not
it is just the hush of a wind and it is not driving any point at all

if it refreshes you without thinking of anything at all
and gives you a certain lightness
like you have wings yourself
then the poem has become a poem

it is not meant to be an idea just something
magical and please do not hold it
it is simply meant
to pass and not stay like the wind and the river and
my soul

Silly, Silly Fool

(kenneth gamble / leon huff)
Such a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i
Oh, i, just a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i
Hey, I should have never fallen
Back in love with you
Knowin how you get a pleasure
Breaking my poor heart in two
You made it sound so convincin
When you said
Im your woman, youre my man
Now I really need you
And I sit here a loser again
I guess Im just a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh i
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, fool am i, mmm
I should have never trusted
In my heart to lead the way
Now my mind is all busted
Thats a fools price to pay
You made it sound so convincin
When you said youd never, never go away
I should have never listened
To anything you had to say
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, yes I am
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh
Such a silly, silly, dilly, silly, dilly fool am i, oh yeah
Im such a silly, silly, silly, silly, silly fool am i, oh yes I am
Im such a silly, silly, dilly, silly, dilly, silly fool am i, oh yeah
Im such a silly, dilly, silly, dilly, silly fool am i, oh
Silly, dilly

In a Manner of Speaking

In a manner of speaking, I want to kill you,
said the drunk redneck to his wife,
In a manner of speaking, I don't love you,
said my ex (turned vegan) to me,
as I returned from a psych ward, hoping for
some sort of reconciliation,
And in a manner of speaking, the whole
world has gone to shit, that no mentally
unbalanced poet can improve upon,
In a manner of speaking, I was just a haiku
before I birthed an epic poem in 2008
and it went something like:
In a manner of speaking…

In a manner of speaking, there is plenty of
beer and loose women,
In a manner of speaking, there is plenty of
internet journals with useless information,
In a manner of speaking, there are plenty of
assholes writing about getting laid and anal sex
on MySpace,
In a manner of speaking, my friend got raped
a few years ago and now has occasional herpes
outbreaks, which are quite disturbing
to her husband,
In a manner of speaking, I'm losing faith in humanity
and love at times,
In a manner of speaking, we just go through the motions,
hoping for something to change or something
spectacular to happen.

But I don't really know any more,
trying to make sense of it all, screaming for some sort of
sanity that eludes me,
In a manner of speaking, I feel alone here,
unable to connect to what's around me-
I just told some guy at a bar that I was a Dallas Cowboys
fan and I don't even watch football,
and he told me to come in my 'gear' on Sunday,
In a manner of speaking, I feel somewhat liberated
because I have no clue as to what I'm doing,
knowing that there is really no escape.

Fool For Love

When I look into your eyes I see
Everything I was meant to be
If Im a fool in love
I dont care, I dont care
When were together
All I know
There is a place
I need to go
If Im a fool in love
I dont care, I dont care
If Im a fool in love
If Im a fool in love
If Im a fool in love
I dont care
I dont care
Visions of moonlight
In the park
We kissed and danced away
In the dark
If Im a fool in love
I dont care, I dont care
Was it wrong to show you
All I feel ?
No, I think that what
Does us in is the
Love were afraid to reveal...
Driving midnight highway one
Love is the ocean
Youre the one

The Proposition

You cant have the flower without the root
You cant have the fire without the soot
Even a stripper needs her red tasseled suit
And we were meant to be
In every war the north needs the south
And everyone knows all assholes have a mouth
Without mystery what would writers talk about
And we were meant to be
An apple needs pits the way melons need seed
Your foot needs your arm and your arm needs your knee
And one of these days I know you will need me
We were meant to be, ooohhh, we were meant to be
Youre mothers an ogre your fathers a scamp
You wont see my parents honored on any stamp
But just like a bulb screws into a lamp
We were meant to be
The way the aids needs a vaccine, somewhere a vaccine needs
Aids, the way a victim needs life, a life needs to be saved
And out of all of this will come a better way
We were meant to be
So you can go to europe, los angeles or mars
You can stand on a building throwing cinder blocks on cars
You can practice deep voodoo, but like me youll see
We were meant to be, we were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be
We were meant to be

Others See Clearly

You went out of your way...
To have me appear to be a fool.
Gathered with your relatives and close friends...
And made sure you had them believe that too!
You remarked about my attempts,
And embellished them with criticisms meant.
Until you felt your actions sealed...
Me as a joke,
To provide your zest and zeal!

You went out of your way...
To have me appear to be a fool.
But I wonder today what your thoughts are now?
Since what you set out to prove...
Has made others see clearly,
Which one of us can be certified now...
To be that fool you saw,
Had to be obviously you!

Congratulations!
Your efforts have been duly noted!

The Fool

Act not as per fundamental rule
is an act of a fool,
Like on a summer sunny day
wearing heavy cloth of wool.

Fool, a doer of mistakes
to make unwise annoy or laugh.
The fool can not understand
easily whatever is taught.

It's foolish to laugh on mistakes
and keep apathy.
The wise try to rectify the wrongs
having sympathy.

Can we ingnore contribution of fools
to the world of entertainment,
All the jokers, comedians
replicate their deeds for amusement.

A fool is not a fool always,
fool can too turn wise somewhere.
Kalidas, foolish in his boyhood
became a great poet and writer.

There are people of the school
without irritating they keep cool,
mend or correct mistakes, thinking,
after all it's God who made the fool.
