Kindness

Kindness is an alien word today,
Eventually bound for extinction.

For angry words that people say
All carry tones of sheer vexation.

If words can swallow each man whole
Then we'll devour each other up,

For rage has taken each man's soul
One sentence then would be enough.

Perhaps it's time we change the tune
And lace our human words with grace

This higher form of life may soon
In time end up without a trace.

For there is only one distinction
That separates man from all the rest

Aside from Love's profound emotion,
Of virtues, Kindness is man's best.

'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, perseverance, and long suffering....'

Poem: Standing Firm

O Lord, I know that You really care;
therefore, I continue to offer prayers.
In You, my faith will not waiver,
since I'm blessed with Your favor.
My heart remains replete with praise,
to honor You, the remainder of my days.
For I've decided to give You my trust
and my life to You, I solely entrust.
Let the fruit of Your Love be evident
and proof that it's heaven sent,
as I desire joy, peace, patience, kindness,
self-control, gentleness and faithfulness.
For in Christ, my soul has been freed,
and is forever standing firm…
against every yoke of slavery!

Bible in Poetry: Galatians 5

Freedom in Christ:

For freedom, Jesus set us free;
For righteous things you stand firmly;
Take not the yoke of slavery!

I, Paul tell you, so, mark my words,
In being circumcised, you don’t,
Allow Christ to be of value.

To every man circumcised then,
He’s bound to obey the whole law;
Although, you’re justified in law,
You are alienated from Christ Lord,
And fallen away from His grace.

By faith, we wait with eagerness
For righteousness, for the Spirit;
Circumcision has no value,
In Jesus Christ without this hope;
The only thing that counts is faith
Expressing itself in love deep.

You were running a mighty race;
Who kept you from obeying truth?
This does not come from Him that calls;
A little yeast softens the dough;
I’m sure you’ll take no other view.

The ones who cause you confusion
Will pay the penalty at last.
If I still preach circumcision,
Why am I persecuted then?
The offence of the cross is void;
Let them who agitate then go
Emasculate themselves for this.

You have been called to stay afree;
Don’t use your freedom in sins’ ways;
Serve one another with true love;
The law in whole is one command:
‘You love your neighbor as yourself.’
If you are fighting amongst you,
You will destroy one another then.

Life by the Spirit:

Live by the Holy Spirit then;
Don’t gratify your sinful thoughts;
For they are contrary to it;
They contradict one another;
You do not do what you want to;
In Spirit, you’re under no law.

The sinful acts are idolatry,
Sexual immorality;
Impurity, debauchery;
Witch-craft, discord and jealousy;
Self-ambition and fits of rage;
Dissensions, factions and orgies;
Drunkenness and the like;
I like to warn you as before,
Such people cannot inherit,
God’s kingdom if they live like this.

The Spirit’s fruits are love and peace,
Joy, patience, kindness and goodness,
Faithfulness and one’s self-control;
In Christ, we’ve crucified our sins,
Our passions and our desires;
When in the Spirit, we then live,
Let’s keep in pace with the Spirit;
Let us not be conceited then,
Envying, provoking brethren.

Kindness Is Goodness

KINDNESS IS GOODNESS

Kindness is Goodness
We want the Universe
To be Kind to us.
Indifference is not a Good, either.
We pray God will be kind
We need God’s kindness
We need God’s Love
Without God’s love
What are we?
What can we be?
We need God’s Love
God’s Kindness.

your kindness and
goodness have become my very
own chains

i love not you
but another yet how can
i leave you
without being drowned
by so much guilt?

love no matter how true
dissolves in the
cares of gentleness
and understanding

my heart beats for her
yet your chains of freedom
tightly bind me
on my arms

i am free to go
but how can i?

God’s Faithfulness Through Me

Any faithfulness, which I display, in my service day to day,
Is not solely what I inspire, but, from a source much higher;
It comes from my Lord God, leading me with staff and rod,
And His Guidance, I must seek, for my flesh is oh so weak.

It’s my Lord working through me, in ways that I’d never see,
As God works out all His Ways, through me, in all my days;
Leaning upon my fleshly will, His ways, alone I cannot fulfill,
But, it’s God guiding me friend, in all my life, at every bend.

His faithfulness, I don’t deserve, as it is God, whom I serve,
Being saved from a life of sin, He leads by His Spirit within,
In many ways that I never knew, and all praise to Him is due,
As all God’s faithfulness to me, helps me to be, all I can be.

God cannot be unfaithful friend; His faithfulness has no end,
While He cannot deny Himself, He fills me with untold wealth,
God’s Divine Wealth in my heart, as His Spirit will not depart,
Abiding with me, every place, He fills me with amazing grace.

God’s Faithfulness gives to us, all who come to Christ Jesus,
That blessed and abundant life, while we live for Jesus Christ;
His Faithfulness has just begun, as we start to serve His Son,
As His Faithfulness to you and me, extends well into Eternity.

Enjoying the Presence of God

My soul is at rest in You,
For I am like a tree
planted beside streams of water,
bearing fruit in season.

My mind is fed by You
For Your wisdom comes
like fresh rain on parched land,
growing oaks of righteousness.

My heart is refreshed by You
As softly You speak in Spirit
like a gentle breeze at Horeb,
each breath a speech of love.

My being is lifted in You
As I scale to the Rock higher than I
reaching clouds of Your Presence,
standing in the heights of refuge.

You dress me up with Peace,
Adorn me Kindness, Joy, and Love-
Your Faithfulness embraces me,
And I enjoy being with You, God.

'O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for You, my body longs for You, in a dry a weary land where there is no water.'

Sheva

To the white forest of emotions and,
To the black forest of love;
But Sheva is your name and,
One day you will fly up high like a kite.

You've got everything but,
The rain dropa are like the tears on your face;
So, how calm are the pillows of your love?

Commitmment and faithfulness,
Mercy and loving-kindness;
But the fruit of your tree is measured by your muse!
For a virtuous woman is the crown of the husband.

A Marriage Made In Heaven

When God brings together,
Two people in a marriage,
He encourages,
Many things along the way.
To never be afraid,
Of the steps,
That are directed by Him.
Fellowship daily,
Be in a hurry for nothing,
And always open to learning,
One another,
Have much prayer,
Lots of patience,
For this is necessary,
To have a marriage of greatness.
Know the time for fruitfulness,
As well as gentleness,
And always be prepared,
For a lesson in forgiveness.
Keep in mind one another's feelings.
Be willing to give all that,
You can possibly give,
Doing all this,
Will help faithfulness.
Especially when you realize,
The best part of a great union,
Is having your life long,
Friend for all eternity.
These are some of the keys,
For a marriage made in Heaven.

Now I Sing

can u just give me a second please
I would like to give my testimony
how the Lord has met my every need
how he saved me, made he holy
if you wanna know the reason why
I gave it all this lifes's no longer mine
How He made a way kept me alive, well listen close as I testify
you don't know like I know (no no)
you can't tell it like I can tell it
everything the Lord has done for me so (yea yea yea)
that you understand I'm just gonna say it
(What manner of love is this is that the father gives to us)
how he saved my soul, I want the world to know
So now I sing, I just want to sing his praise
Loving kindness everyday, faithfulness that comes my way
So now I sing, I'm gonna clap my hands
Please excuse me if I start to dance
Cause His love is true, His mercies new, He's been so good to me
He didn't have to do it but I'm glad He did, (im so glad)
Saved me from my sin
That old life is gone and new life lives within
(Of all the things that I could write a song)
I knew I couldn't go wrong,
If I sang of His goodness all day long
You don't know like I know, you can't tell it like I can tell it
Everything the Lord has done for me so,
That you understand I'm just gone say it
(I cannot live my life without Him) I make no excuse
If I get a little crazy in Him I live and move
So now I sing, just want to sing his praise
Loving kindness everyday, faithfulness that comes my way
So now I sing, I'm gonna clap my hands
Please excuse me if I start to dance
Cause His love is true, His mercies new, He's been so good to me
So clap your hands this evening, come on y'all I said it's alright
move a little this evening, come on y'all I said

So Little Kindness

I cant believe it after so long
How can the memories really be gone
Now I dont deny its over
But why must you be so cold
I cant believe it
So little kindness
Yeah baby thats too bad
Saw you this evening out on the town
You went outta your way just to put me down
Now why got this chip on your sholder
When I dont even love you no more
I cant belive it
So little kindness
Baby its sad
cause we cont even talk about the little things
After this love we had
So little kindness
Baby thats too bad
So sad child child
Dont worry baby
Im not gonna stand in your way
Now that its gone
Our love is strong
No matter what you say
So little kindness
Youre so blind
That you cant even recognize a real thing
When it was yours and mine
So little kindness
After all this time
So little kindness
Baby its sad
Cause we cant even talk about anything
After what we once had
So little kindness
So little kindness
So little kindness
Im looking for some kindness
I need some kindness
Can I just have some kindness
Give me some kindness

Great Peace

Peace is making your calling and election sure;
Enjoying the fruits of the Holy Spirit you will endure;
Fruits such as love, joy, peace and patience against which there is no
law;
Peace is friendship with the Saviour and before Him bow;

Great peace is promised to those who love God's law;
And being offended at nothing is nice because;
Peace is not worrying about anything;
Your trust is in God and you love to sing:

Glory to God in the highest and on earth good will toward men;
Peace is a gift from God our Father when you allow Jesus to come in.

Concatenation Verse

Silence is the best answer,
Answer to man's life is patience,
Patience is the weapon for success,
Success lives in labour with perseverance.

Courage dwells in patience,
Patience in trials brings forth fruit,
Fruit of joy can be shared with all,
All ought to fight against evils.

Where there's a will, there's a way,
Way is one unto the victory of joy,
Joy is everyone's right blessed by God,
God is the Author of mankind.

Sonnet: A Bit of Patience

A bit of patience works out miracles;
A bit of patience puts off arguments;
A bit of patience problems well tackles;
A bit of patience preserves monuments.

A bit of patience can avoid hatred;
A bit of patience cools one’s anger off;
A bit of patience marks well good kindred;
A bit of patience makes many to laugh.

A bit of patience keeps good friends at peace;
A bit of patience can avoid big wars;
A bit of patience can jealousy cease;
A bit of patience can avoid big scars.

A bit of patience gives good advantage;
A bit of patience is good heritage.

“The Ceremony Has Begun”

The ceremony

Has just begun

Love is the groom

And patience

Is the proud bride

Who looks beautiful

Wearing that holy

Gown of uncertainty

Smooth high quality

Fabric of Fantasy

There brevity

And bravery

Are the bridesmaids

Peace and faithfulness

Are the only

Invited guests

For the

Wedding planner

Is God himself

And wedding vows

Are from heaven

The children of truth

Are playing their roles

The ceremony

Has just begun

Where tonight

Patience

Will be

Married

To love………..

Full of an Emptiness

I am full of an emptiness,
Which empties me of my fullness.
I am feeding my starving ego,
While never nourishing my soul which can always be satisfied.
The spirit never ends but I try to tempt it with things that do.

Earthly pleasures, to find heavenly treasures?
Money, power and control do not fill me up.
I always want more.
I can never get enough.

Love, joy and peace.
I have none.
Yet it is all I truly need.
It is only this that will fill me up.

My spirit is allergic to the things of this world.
Yet my mind tells me to feast on more,
My mind is the starving pig.
Feasting on the droppings of the world.
And so I eat from the bottom, which is the world.
My living Hell.

Earth is chaos, Heaven is peace.
I look up and see an endless sky.
These are my possibilities should I follow the spirit.
I look to the ground and see how far is the fall.
But it is only once I have fallen, and hit the ground.
That I can get back up.

Rise above my circumstances.
Rise above the pleasures.
To seek and pursue the treasures.
That were promised to all.
Even before my time here.

If I get, what I give.
And what I give is nothing,
It is nothing I will get back in the end.
So why do I keep giving only what I can take?
Am I giving of things that have a beginning and an ending?
Or do I give what is endless?

The anger I feel because I thought someone was stealing from me,
Is really what I simply robbed myself of in the first place.
Peace, joy and love.
It is mine to share.
For if I share it,
It can never be stolen from me.
In the end, it is only my legacy I leave behind.

Money will be spent.
Power will run out.
Control will be lost.

To be without money is to be broke.
I am broken.

To be without power is to be powerless.
I am powerless.

If I get what I give, then I am what I am.
If I am control, then I am controlled and controlling
If I am peace, then I am peaceful
If I am joy, then I am joyous
If I am love, then I am loving and loved.

That is all I ever wanted and ever needed in the first place.
