Shopping For Dresses (feat. Loretta Lynn)
Jimmie Dickens, Merle Haggard, R. Q. Jackson
Down through the ages men have died for women
And done so for many times
Each time I loved one, I ve always lost one
Seems the right one is so hard to find.
Shopping for dresses with no one to wear them
One in each color, one in each style.
I ll find a lady someday to wear them,
My shopping will be done for awhile.
I ll bet somewhere s a lady shopping for britches
Comparing the value, appraising each pair.
Maybe someday the Lord will bring us together
And we ll both have a new wardrobe to wear
Shopping for dresses with no one to wear them
One in each color and one in each style.
Maybe someday if I'm lucky
I ll find someone to wear them
And my shopping will be done for awhile.
My shopping will be done for awhile.
I m looking for a lady who ll look good in dresses
She must be red-headed, green eyes and be fair.
I ll make exceptions to all my requirements
As long as she s willing to care.
Chorus:
I just saw a beauty with blue eyes, what a cutie
Bond hair like a halo around her did flow,
But the brunette beside her would be just as lovely
In the dresses I bought long ago.
Chorus:
Now as I sit here dreaming, planning and scheming,
Why should I make standards when everyone knows
As your need ranges, women make changes
And you must accept them or just let them go.
Chorus:

Shopping
Were buying and selling your history
How we go about it is no mystery
We check it with the city, then change the law
Are you looking forward?
Now you want some more
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Its easy when you got all the information
Inside help, no investigation
(no investigation, investigation)
No questions in the house, no give and take
Theres a big bang in the city
Were all on the make
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Our gain is your loss, thats the price you pay
I heard it in the house of commons: everythings for sale
Were shopping
Were shopping
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah
Ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah ah, ah ah
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping
Were s-h-o-pp-i-n-g, were shopping

I love shopping. I wear skirts and dresses, because I really think guys like girls in skirts. And I always wear nice underwear.

I want to find a way to reach young women emotionally and also to start providing clothing for them so that they can wear the same things their thin friends can wear. I really want to do evening wear and prom dresses for these girls.

Ebay
Anything you want you're sure to find
just turn on your Pc and go online
In the google search bar Type in EBAY
and start your shopping without delay
Designer dresses from a tenner
Tattoo's containing natural Henna...
Shhhhhhh Perfume by Jade Goody (RIP)
and an FCUK Knitted Hoodie
Buy it now or Bidding from..
don't miss out, cos it's ending soon..
So much choice where do I start...
but with my money I must part...
Forget the queues in shopping malls
EBAY really has it all.....

Shopping for Yesterday
Busy crowds, lonely hearts, broken dreams
Shopping for yesterday.
Visiting the shared moments,
In all the familiar places
When shopping for yesterday.
We are all prisoners of the past
When shopping for yesterday
Knee deep in our loneliness
Surrounded by the crowd
We’re shopping for yesterday.
Pictures and memories
Half-forgotten words
Time slipping away
From the windmills of my mind
When shopping for yesterday.

A poem a day - Shopping with a friend
Shopping with a friend is cool
There's nothing forbidden, no rule
And no parents to say what's suitable
Or to tell you what's unaffordable,
Actually you don't need to be rich
To try on whatever your eyes wish.
Shopping with a friend is so nice
You might forget budget and price
And buy things you don't need
Just by habit, not by greed
Like get ten or eleven similar tops
From two or three different shops.
Shopping with a friend is funny
Even if you don't have money
You can try a formal blue shirt
With a long gypsy orange skirt
Pretend to buy them but act lost
Then don't, because they're low-cost.
Shopping with a friend is naughty
You can act humble or haughty
Change personnalities between stores:
Be a girl who laughs and snores
Or an english tourist, elegant and neat
Who went walking on the street.
But shopping is more pleasant with a friend
Who has a thousand dollars to lend.

The Story Of A Shoe
i'm a pink boot
walking around the zoo
and i hear the hoot
of an owl
calling my name
i wonder how
i'm a high heel
dancing in a party
with a group of friends
including lace-ups,
flats and wedges
i go shopping the day after
and soon i find myself crying
because my human friend
is buying another pair to wear
oh my god
she just opened the box
and showed me the pair
i can't belive it that
she's putting m off
and trying them on
i'm so dead '
coz if she buys them now
she'll never wear me again
and i might be thrown away
oh no no no.

Shopping Without Edgar Allan
We will always shopping go
Without Edgar Allan Poe.
We go shopping, hopping, hopping,
From this store to that.
Edgar Allan was a Poe
Who never ever had to go
Shopping.
O.K., and so perhaps I lied,
And so perhaps his lovely bride,
Annabelle Lee and he
Went shopping, like
The rest of us.

Girl In The Picture
[Chorus:]
Think I love the girl in the picture
She's a fantasy someone that I need to see
Make a reality
Got me all outta control
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit be
I know that I need her
Go out my way and I'll do anything to meet her
Make her mine someday
Body got me in a zone
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit me
[Verse 1:]
She's the type of girl in the magazine
front cover of the Seventeen
5 foot 11 know what I mean
Is she bout it bout
All the brothas always crowd around her
She is the one for me
I can picture us perfectly
In the 5 double O windows down low
Tippin off a shopping spree
[Bridge:]
I can see you and me (on the run)
You could be (my numba one) my lady
Don't wanna be your friend wanna be your man
I can see you and me (puttin time in)
You could be (like me best friend) my baby
Baby but I guess it only happens in my dreams
[Chorus:]
Think I love the girl in the picture
She's a fantasy someone that I need to see
Make a reality
Got me all outta control
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit be
I know that I need her
Go out my way and I'll do anything to meet her
Make her mine someday
Body got me in a zone
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit me
[Verse 2:]
I can see us together at award shows
Just like P. Diddy and J.Lo
Cameras flash paparazzi what's the scoop yo
But the love we got
Will never go and we'll be proud about it
Posters on my wall wish that I could call you baby
Talk about how we were meant to be till both fall asleep I can see you and me
[Bridge:]
I can see you and me (on the run)
You could be (my numba one) my lady
Don't wanna be your friend wanna be your man
I can see you and me (puttin time in)
You could be (like me best friend) my baby
Baby but I guess it only happens in my dreams
[Chorus 2x:]
Think I love the girl in the picture
She's a fantasy someone that I need to see
Make a reality
Got me all outta control
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit be
I know that I need her
Go out my way and I'll do anything to meet her
Make her mine someday
Body got me in a zone
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit me
[Vamp:]
Go to the limits babe
Anything just to see you face to face
What would Ido if you were here with me
In reality it's all fantasy
You got what I want
And I try to get you outta my mind
Cuz I think about you all the time
[Chorus (till fade):]
Think I love the girl in the picture
She's a fantasy someone that I need to see
Make a reality
Got me all outta control
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit be
I know that I need her
Go out my way and I'll do anything to meet her
Make her mine someday
Body got me in a zone
Who do I gotta be
To make cutie wanna be wit me

Baby I Live In Yesterday
I feel so unhappy today
Tomorrow seems light-years away
Baby I live in yesterday
Oh I remember everything
When we used to go for shopping
The shopping spree kept you smiling
I remember your tender kiss
I remember now what love is
When I was with you I felt bliss
I remember your charming face
I remember your cute dresses
I remember your sweet caress
I remember your sexy walk
I remember your pleasant talk
You used to rock me like hard rock

Christmas At The Big-K
At Christmas she went to K Mart
Which wasn’t very smart.
She got in the way
Of a mob that day
And was floored by a shopping cart.
Shopping sucks at Christmas time
Even at the five and dime.
Try shopping on line
And you will be fine
And you won’t be the victim of a crime
Or what’s more you won’t miss your Miller time.

Someday We'll Know
90 miles outside Chicago
Can't stop driving I don't know why
So many questions I need some answers
2 years later you're still on my mind
Whatever happened to the Uptown theatre?
Yeah it held the stars up in the sky
Is true love just once in a lifetime?
Did the captain of the Titanic cry
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Does anybody know the way to Atlantis?
Or what the wind says when she cries
I'm speeding by the place where I met you
For the 97th time
(Chorus)
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
If love is do or die for
Someday we'll know
Why it died so soon
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
I bought a ticket back to where I came from
I watched my past crash in the sea
If I could ask you just one question
Why aren't you here with me?
(chorus)
Someday we'll know
Why love can't move a mountain
Someday we'll know
Why the sky is blue
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
If love is do or die for
Someday we'll know
Why it died so soon
Someday we'll know
Why I wasn't there for you
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know
Someday we'll know

Odd musings of an impatient heart
A shopping cart sits alongside the road
Its taunts me as its stands there alone
Just a piece of metal to passers by
But I see that metal and swallow a sigh
And now I've had more than I can take
Its eating me up and I begin to wish
That I could leave this place for a while
Or maybe forever that would be even better
Maybe I could meet someone who is new
And his words would be only the truth
Not lies compared to the thoughts in his head
But I see this shopping cart stranded alone
Just waiting for someone to come take it home
And i wonder of all the things that could make me sad
How a lone shopping cart had the effect that it had

Love is buyer oriented
Venders are at door.
Why should she go out for shopping?
She can accept or reject.
A woman is adamant in love shopping.

Speaking of shopping
Speaking of shopping…
My wife is the best
shopper in town
At shopping
there’s no woman greater
She’ll buy anything marked…
up or down
Just last week
she bought an escalator

You Wear It So Well
All of those things
Yeah, that you got to give
Yeah, you wear it so well
Hey, you wear it so well
All of those stories
Honey, that i know you could tell
Yeah, you wear it so well
And your face hides it so we can't tell
That you knew we would wear it so well
You wear it so well
Yeah darling, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Yeah baby, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Yeah now baby, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
Hey now darling now, yeah, you wear it so well
(you wear it so well)
All of those things
That make poets sing
You wear it so well
Yeah, you hide it so well
And all of those pain
That you used to tell
You hide it so well
Can't tell from your face that you knew it so well
Hey, now that you have such a story to tell
Yeah, you got style and grace and you wear it so well
You wear it so well
And you got, you got such a story to tell
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you wear it so well
Grace and style equals you so well
Yeah, yeah, yeah, you wear it so well, well, yeah, so well
Yeah, you wear it, wear it, wear it now, wear it now, baby
Yeah, now you wear it so well
And you got such a story to tell
(ooohhh, ooohhh, ooohhh)
(ooohhh, you wear it so well)
(you wear it so well)
(you wear it so well)

Someday
Lying herethinkin' about
When you told me that you just don't care
Sleep alone every night I'm dreaming
'bout the love we used to share
Something's lost, it's a feeling that's gone
Inside I know that it won't be long
Chorus:
Someday
Love will find you girl you'll be with me again
Someday
Will remind you and then we'll be together again
Loving you, everything you wanted
Why'd you have to break my heart
All along both of us remaining
But you chose to let it fall apart
Holding back what you're feeling inside
When I know you can reach out and find
(Chorus)
This time, this time I know we can make it
This time, come on and reach out and take it
(Chorus)
(Solo)
(Chorus)
