The Three Kings
WHEN the star in the East was lit to shine
The three kings journeyed to Palestine;
They came from the uttermost parts of earth
With long trains laden with gifts of worth.
The first king rode on a camel's back,
He came from the land where the kings are black,
Bringing treasures desired of kings,
Rubies and ivory and precious things.
An elephant carried the second king,
He came from the land of the sun-rising,
And gems and gold and spices he bare
With broidered raiment for kings to wear.
The third king came without steed or train
From the misty land where the white kings reign.
He bore no gifts save the myrrh in his hand,
For he came on foot from a far-off land.
Now when they had travelled a-many days
Through tangled forests and desert ways,
By angry seas and by paths thorn-set
On Christmas Vigil the three kings met.
And over their meeting a shrouded sky
Made dark the star they had travelled by.
Then the first king spake and he frowned and said:
'By some ill spell have our feet been led,
'Now I see in the darkness the fools we are
To follow the light of a lying star.
'Let us fool no more, but like kings and men
Each get him home to his land again!'
Then the second king with the weary face,
Gold-tinct as the sun of his reigning place,

They gave Him gold for a kingly crown,
And frankincense for a great God's breath
and Myrrh to sweeten the day of death.
The Maiden Mother she stood and smiled
And she took from the manger her little child.
On the dark king's head she laid His hand
And anger died at that dear command.
She laid His hand on the gold king's head
And despair itself was comforted.
But when the pale king knelt in the stall
She heard on the straw his tears down fall.
And she stooped where he knelt beside her feet
And laid on his bosom her baby sweet.
And the king in the holy stable-place
Felt the little lips through the tears on his face.

Who reigns in my breast to my undoing,

Where is Christmas
Where is Christmas that holy night when a star shone out
so clear and bright.
Where is Christmas when a child was born and there in a
manger he lay meek and forlorn.
Where is Christmas with sherpherds and kings with beautiful angles
on silken wings.
Have we forgotten this Christmas story or do we just think it is full of pomp and glory; yes a king was born but he had no crown and his palace was a stable in Bethlehem Town.
There were no trumpets to the sound of his birth, although he was king of all kings to rule over the earth.
He had no gifts of white steeds to ride, just a lamb and a donkey
that lay by is side; with Christmas tidings brought from a far by
by kings and sherperds that followed a star
So where is Christmas this one of long ago, is it forfotten or do we really want to know.
We light up our homes with celebration in mind and every year we
think is Christmas becoming a bind.
We must stop and think and show some compasion and stop
spending money as if it is going out of fashion.Lets look at
Christmas and set this story in our hearts
before it is lost forever and it's meaning departs.
Christmas is a time for giving because the Lord gave us his son
so let the celebration of his birth be second to none.

Holy Name Of JESUS
so many stories that have been told
so many stories that never grow old
born in a manger in bethlehem
born our savior from that begining to the end
worshipped by kings and the poor alike
with a heart so pure, and cleaner than the brightest day.
but was destined to be taken away.
our lord had given this child to joseph and mary
and all the angels adorned the sky
for he was born the king on high.
he was destined to rule the world
and to touch the hearts of all mankind
from presidents, to kings, to you and i.
raised as a carpenter to turn wood into a wonder to behold.
but his true gift was yet to unfold
preaching the lords word to anyone who would hear
that with faith in god-they had nothing to fear.
he was not a prophet, nor a king
did not have wealth or anything
yet the most mightiest rulers had fear in their hearts.
that his words were just the start.
the start of things that was foretold
by the prophets and the readers of stars.
that a king was born this day and that
nations would bow to him and praise his name.
nations had heard of his miraculos plights
and to the blind he gave sight.
how he healed lepers and the mentally ill
this was all of his lords will.
how he cured the sick and lame
and how people spoke highly of his name.
they could not let this continue to be
betrayal was the only key.
bought by gold-he was taken away.
fear built up in the hearts of man
they would not lend a helping hand.
given a choice of which should live
they chose barrabbas to be set free.
this was the fullfillment of his destiny.
to be crucified so that man could live
and through his death wipe away mortal sin.
as you notice i did not put his name in this story
for he is above us in all his glory.
HOLY JESUS IS HIS NAME-and in his house
of prayer-we praise the same.

Christmas Nowadays
“You have no fear, ” the angel said,
“To Shepherds on a winter’s night.”
“A king anew is born today! ”
The king of Jews and King of kings.
He is the truth and way and light!
No place was there in Bethlehem;
Born in a manger, so he lay;
Swaddled in cloth, he slept on hay;
He came to save all sinners, Aye!
And show all Heaven’s only way!
And angel choirs sang in God’s praise;
Thus, Jesus was living God’s face!
The Savior’s born in hearts with grace;
He came to forgive human race,
And die on cross, the Bible says!
But what about Christmas these days?
Is Jesus born in homes truly?

Thanks Again
Today, I thank God once more, for sending me a Savior and Lord,
For reaching down into this life, where darkness and sins were rife,
For sending The Holy Spirit of God, upon men on this earthly sod,
To deliver men on this earth, through His Truth and a spiritual birth.
God leads with Truth as I hear it, through the indwelling Holy Spirit,
God’s Holy Spirit which I received, the very moment that I believed,
Producing in me peace and love, that comes from The Lord above,
A love within that He preserves, that no one on earth truly deserves.
Tomorrow, I’ll thank God again, that through Christ I am born again,
Born into His Eternal Family, that without Grace, I would never see,
But now, I know I’ll see His face, for I’ve been saved by His Grace,
Saved by my Savior and my Lord, to reign with Christ forevermore.
Indeed for me, God has done, so much through my life in His Son,
A life which I never had before, I entered through that Narrow Door,
One that opens to greater things, serving Christ, The King of kings,
And after this I’ll receive rewards, all from Christ, the Lord of Lords.
I cannot thank The Lord enough, for all of His Mercy and His Love,
For sending, His Only Son, Christ, to pay for me the ultimate price,
And that the Savior who died for me, become my Lord for Eternity,
For by the death of Jesus Christ, God has granted me Eternal Life.
