Line In The Sand

line in the sand...
broken plate in the sink.
the needle of debt
exacts its cost.
men are just men,
dreams are made for sipping.
the spirits of dead lovers
inhabit bodies at night.
and the light flickers,
grabs, taunts, is lost.
we write bibles,
coughing in the night!

My Fortress

Is made of parcment paper
Manilla envelopes shade
The sun
Once a fortress made of
Steel
Now melted
By a welders torch
Tormented by lusts
Familiar call
The door is solid
Origami
Pasted shut with
Super Glue
Seven wooden soldiers
Mount my toothpick
Gate
To protect me
From you
In the daylight
Or in the shadows
At the midnight
Hour
My paper bell chimes
Warnings from
Plastic warrior power
Guarding my insecurities
From the dark colours
Sneaking through
The crevices
Of Brown and Blue
That are ouside
Sixteen miles away
From the
Chapel where bibles
Go to hide

There are certain promises you make that are more sacred than anything that happens in a court of law, I don't care how many Bibles you put your hand on.

Mercy # 2

black man, white man,
ground beneath their feet.
families carrying guns and Bibles,
living on the street.

rich man, well hid,
cocktails made of blood and oil.
tyranny, mass slavery,
bodies buried, American soil.

and the hands on the clock
crawl like justice spurned....
tick tock, tick tock,
mercy gives what mercy earns!

If we are immortal it is a fact in nature, and we are not indebted to priests for it, nor to bibles for it, and it cannot be destroyed by unbelief.

That Which Was....

Which types of the Holy bibles are they reading?
For they cannot understand the truth around us;
Because that which was will be once again!
And the whole world will see the prophecies being fulfilled.

64 Jesus's died in the bombing...
some were small children,

spreading salvation and hellfire
in the name of profit!

Egypt

(9/15/12)

Stories have been written, movies have been shown
Of this land of mystery the world has known.
"Egypt"
History and bibles tell of the plights
Of pyramids being built for the pharaohs delight.

Stories have been told of an unknown civilization
Who showed them how to build this nation.
It is said they came from out of space
To teach technology to the human race.

Why was these structures built in the desert sands
Where it took thousands of lives
And millions of hands.

The story of aliens is a tale you see
Which was made up for you and me.

Take a trip down the Nile
And visualize that for a while.

Truckstop Salvation

By: jimmy buffett
1970
Straight-laced leather-faced he rolled
In like he owned the two-bit town
Dollar bills bulging from his bell-bottomed jeans
The population they gathered round
Nothing this exciting since a fertilizer truck
Blew a front tire and landed in the creek
Everybody talkin everybody strainin
Tryin to get a little peek
Chorus:
Its just the world theyll never know
Not a country fair side show
Reality theyll somehow never see
Hes what theyve tried to kill
With their bibles and their stills
But hes not weird just a man thats bein free
Payin for the gas he wickedly shouted thanks
And continued on his journey all once again
Just about the time a siren fast-approached and
The pot bellied sheriff he whizzed right in
With his self inflicted grammar started shoutin
Accusations at the long haired greasy looking ape
While a local d.j. from the fifty watt station got
The whole damn thing on tape
Chorus:
Its just the world theyll never know
Not a country fair side show
Reality theyll somehow never see
Hes what theyve tried to kill
With their bibles and their stills
But hes not weird just a man thats bein free
The holy roller preacher told the eager congregation
That the devil had passed right through their nest
But the teenage girls with their locks in curls were
A talkin bout that hair upon his chest
Now the kids got their cookies while the preacher
Saved some souls and the story spread to everyone in sight
Commotion was the word and everybody heard
He was gone before the night
Chorus:
Its just the world theyll never know
Not a country fair side show
Reality theyll somehow never see
Hes what theyve tried to kill
With their bibles and their stills
But hes not weird just a man thats bein free

In Dismal Gorge

The lost can stay lost down here,
in laurel slicks, false-pathed caves.
Too much too soon disappears.

On creek banks clearings appear,
once homesteads. Nothing remains.
The lost can stay lost down here,

like Tom Clark's child, our worst fears
confirmed as we searched in vain.
Too much too soon disappears.

How often this is made clear
where cliff-shadows pall our days.
The lost can stay lost down here,

stones scattered like a river
in drought, now twice-buried graves.
Too much too soon disappears,

lives slip away like water.
We fill our Bibles with names.
The lost can stay lost down here.
Too much too soon disappears.

One Day

The treat of nuclear war remains high,
But what is wrong with mankind? ! !
For the perilous choices of mankind are ready to launch within minutes.
'What will the end be? ' You may ask:
But the prophecies are all in our various Bibles to teach us,
For the end will surely come one day.

And of men marrying men and, of women marrying women;
But, the same people go to church and read their Bibles!
Yet still, they do not understand what is written down in,
'Leviticus Chapter 18' and 'Romans 1: 26-27'.

American History 101

they came with long rifles and Bibles,
raped your women, stole your lands.
their God devoured....
yours, with open hands!

built the land of the free
atop your teepees and your bones;
and went out to conquer the world,
with eyes of glass,
.....................and hearts of stone!
