When I was very young I used to sit around the house watching oil can harry battle mighty mouse
Until my mother said, son, thats not the way to be. youve got to go to school and learn your abcs.
I said, is that it, mom?
She said, thats not even half. youve got to go to school, you got to learn some math.
You got to learn you to count- 1, 2, 3- and then get freshed up on the history.
My first day of school Ill never forget. my teacher said, recite the alphabet.
I said, a e m e l r, and, as you can see, I didnt get very far.
The teacher said, son, theres nothing to it. before the days over, youll learn how to do it.
And not only that, youll learn how to read, and thats one thing in life youll always need.
Well, schools not all work. theres fun things to do like gym, lunch, and recess, too.
Kindergarten was easy. it was mostly play. what I was worried about was elementary.

Ha! now something got wrong. I took another turn.
I didnt want to study, didnt even want to learn.
Didnt want to go to class. I was always late because school became something that I started to hate.
Started hanging with my boys; didnt mean no harm. we was going around the school pulling fire alarms.
I was a chilly homeboy, yes, I was down because I came to school just to mess around.
I started hanging in the halls, writing on the walls, until I got started playing basketball.
But I didnt have a job so I couldnt get paid and I couldnt play ball because of my grades.
But I still used to practice each and every day in case the coach decided to let me play.
But it didnt work out the way I planned, so I ran to a man who said he can understand the troubles I was going through.
He said, son its all about going to school.
So I e-mail, what goes here? ________ and now Im moving up to the big leagues: high school.

Im feeling cool cause I was going on to something they call high school.
And I feel important, cause things arent the same, wondering why nobody knows my name.
That became something that I started to miss, and now that Im here it feels like a big dis.
But, anyway, I had to leave. I had something to achieve.
It was singing- yeah- thats what I wanted to do, so I got a tutor, because Im no fool.
Dropping out of school is quite absurd, and its something new edition just spread the word.
Stay in school!

It's a sick day off
It's Monday,
I said, ' I can't go to school today.'
Mom asked, ' Why can't you go son? '
' Well I have the flu and chicken pox. I need a warm cinnamon bun.'
'Eat a cinnamon bun, rest, and be ready for school tomorrow while rising with the sun.'
It's Tuesday,
I said, ' I can't go to school like yesterday.'
Mom asked, ' Why not Nate? '
' I have the mumps and measles and I think it is because of what I ate.'
' Well you're going to miss you school debate.'
Mom said back, ' Go to rest and hopefully you can go to school tomorrow with your sister Kate.'
It's Wednesday,
I said to Mom, ' I can't go to school like Tuesday.'
Mom asked, ' Why not my sweet boy? '
' I'm coughing and I got a headache also say I can't play today to my best friend Roy.'

started out as high school swwethearts

The place were much was learned; The School Of Life.
A far different place than papers, books, and homework.
The School of Life, is a never ending, when it comes to lessons.
In The School Of Life, I have learned, that not

Our school is so unfair

School and teachers
You go to school
everyday
just to be told
you can't do it that way
you have to do it my way
it is in the rules
and you think
school isn't cool
teachers think they're all that
and that they can control us
but sometimes I wish my teachers
would get hit by a bus
I know that sounds mean
but I haven't even said
that school everyday
I always dread
It feels like a prison
with no escape
why oh why
am I bound to this fate?
Of course we have to go to school
we have to all week
but couldn't school be more fun
instead of really starting to reek!
But we have to go through it
all 12 grades
and we have to go to college
what a bad day!
The days drag on
they never end
until the bells rings
and I run as fast as I can
It's almost christmas break
and I can't wait
because more days at school
I just can't take.
School sucks
and I think it is bad
and even though we are tortured
it isn't all bad
I guess what i'm trying to say is
