The Balance
After he had journeyed,
And his feet were sore,
And he was tired,
He came upon an orange grove
And he rested
And he lay in the cool,
And while he rested, he took to himself an orange and tasted it,
And it was good.
And he felt the earth to his spine,
And he asked, and he saw the tree above him, and the stars,
And the veins in the leaf,
And the light, and the balance.
And he saw magnificent perfection,
Whereon he thought of himself in balance,
And he knew he was.
Just open your eyes,
And realize, the way its always been.
Just open your mind
And you will find
The way its always been.
Just open your heart
And thats a start.
And he thought of those he angered,
For he was not a violent man,
And he thought of those he hurt
For he was not a cruel man
And he thought of those he frightened
For he was not an evil man,
And he understood.
He understood himself.
Upon this he saw that when he was of anger or knew hurt or felt fear,
It was because he was not understanding,
And he learned, compassion.
And with his eye of compassion.
He saw his enemies like unto himself,
And he learned love.
Then, he was answered.
Just open your eyes,
And realize, the way its always been.
Just open your mind
And you will find
The way its always been.
Just open your heart
And thats a start.

Open Your Heart
Don't let the sun go down on me
Open your heart
Just let me be your destiny
Open your heart
What I never felt before
I really need you more and more
Don't let the sun go down on me
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Open your heart
Even when you're far away
You're on my mind, every night and day
Don't let me live without a goal
Deep inside you are my soul
I've been fooled by love so many times
I've been blind, I've seen no signs
You're the one for me, we'll never part
Stay with me and open your heart
I can't express what's goin' on
I feel so lonely when you're gone
Is it real or is it fake
Am I dreaming, am I awake
You're the one I have been waiting for
I can't hold it back no more
You're the one for me, we'll never part
Stay with me and open your heart
I need you, don't let the sun, go down on me
Count on me, let me be your destiny,
See you got the key, to my Heart
We'll never part, from the start till the end of time,
You' re always mine, take a glass of wine
And let the sun shine, find out,
What is right or wrong,
What's going on, I feel lonely when you're gone
You're style is Magic - you hypnotise me
You came into my life, set me free
Light and energy, all around the galaxy
You made it brighter so that I could see
Like a melody in ecstasy,
See our love will last, eternally
Seems that your life is the golden key
Don't let the sun go down on me

Face Up
Ever since Ive seen your face
This life of mine has gone to waste
I was young and you were old
And I always knew you were cold
At the start you had a heart
But in the end you lost your friend
Can you see your own dark face?
Its dieing in a lonely place
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
As we get old, we lose our place
Reflecting back the worlds disgrace
I feel so low, I feel so humble
Sometimes in life we take a tumble
Dont let anybody tell you that youre no good
Cause you know they would
Dont let anybody tell you what you should do
Cause its not that way and...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
You were me and I was you
This world of ours it felt brand new
You took me a little further...
I heard it all before, Ive heard it all before
I cant hear it anymore
Your hair was long, your eyes was blue
Guess what Im gonna do to you
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure
And life was just an open door
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought...
Oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
I said oh, oh, how I cannot bear the thought of you
We were young and we were pure...

If You Really Knew
What you don't know can lead you to the extremes
Shunning help though you feel a need
You fear to be caught limping and you lose your place
And "Leaning On The Everlasting Arm"is not your taste
Maybe you've heard stories,
Laughed at what you saw on TV
Or felt disgust as He was used as an excuse for bigotry
But I've got to tell you, that's not what it's all about
'Cause the truth I know will turn you around
Chorus
If you really knew
You would change your mind
If you knew the God I know
You would have the time
If you take a chance, I'm sure you will find
Everything you need in love of another kind
I, too, have been hurt by those who claimed to show the way
It was crazy, their two faces like night and day
But you don't stop believing 'cause you once been burned
In everything, there's a lesson learned
Man is imperfect, there is just One Perfect Soul
So much more loving than than one that you've been shown, oh
How long is it gonna take for you to realize?
I wish that you would open your eyes
Repeat Chorus
Bridge
I apologize to you,
On behalf of the untrue
Because the God I know would never do the things they do
Mercy and compassion on the right and on the left
Can you give anymore than your last breath?
Oh, too hard to see, well put your mind aside
And stop using fear to hide behind
Bridge 2
God's love is enough for you
And it's waiting, if you only knew
(Repeat)
Repeat Chorus 5X, then Bridge 2 till fade

Open Eyes
May the memories not be forgot
May we never lose our mind
May no one tamper with our thoughts
For the sake of open eyes
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness dear
Well drink to open eyes!
The mindless cretin on parade
They may fill our lives with fear
Should we forgive and look away
Well perhaps, but not this year!
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness deat
Well drink to open eyes
Our enemies may come on strong
They may try to break our will
Should we forgive and look away
Just before we spring to kill!
For open eyes my dear
For open eyes
We will not drink to blindness dear

Eyes Wide Open
Your eyes are wide open, but yet you don’t see
All the love I have inside of me.
Eyes wide open, but you don’t look around
You don’t open your ears, you don’t hear a sound.
Eyes wide open but the beauties that surround you
Do not seem to exist.
Is it that your eyes on you are playing tricks?
Eyes wide open and yet you have a blank stare.
Have you closed off your mind?
Or you just don’t care.
What can I do to remove that haze
So that on my face you can gaze.
If I hold you tenderly in my arms
And kiss those beautiful eyes.
Will they move? Will they cry?
What must I do so that you can see
That our love was meant to be.
They say that you went deep inside yourself
To hide the hurt and pain
But without your love “ I am the same”.
Eyes wide open. Did they just glance at me?
Is it because your heart is finally free?
I see a tear forming in your eyes
Emotions being let out that you tried to hide.
Eyes wide open- now they are mine
I can see your love for the very first time.

Let My Love Open The Door
Pete Townshend) (various dates)
The people keep repeatin'
The children follow along
Everybody keeps from changin'
And you could say you did enough...
Let my love open your door... (3x)
To your heart...
Let my love open the door (2x)
When everything feels all over
Everybody seems unkind
I'll give you a four-leaf clover
Take all worries out of your mind
Let my love open your door... (3x)
To your heart...
Let my love open the door...
To your heart...
Let my love open the door...
Have the only key to your heart...
I can stop you from fallin' apart
Tried to say in my own way...
Somebody give me the chance to say...
Let my love open your door...
It's all I'm lookin' for
And erase yourself from misery
There's only one thing that's gonna set you free...
When trouble really falls you...
Don't let it tie you down
Love can cure your problems
You're so lucky I'm around
Let my love open your door... (3x)
To your heart...
Let my love open the door...
To your heart...
Let my love open the door... (5x)
Oh...to your heart...
Oh...baby, I know I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said...
...I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said...
Oh...na na na...let my love open the door...
Let my love... (2x

Open Your Eyes
You want what you deserve
but it's right in front of you
You want something better
than any other
You don't even bother
to figure what it is
that you think you deserve
You'll find it all one day
but not this way.
Open your eyes,
your heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
I can't take anymore,
have you ever asked yourself,
what am I looking for?
You're indesisive
You are just another caught up in all of this
plastic glamerous world
You'll never see
who you could be
Open your eyes,
you're heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
Your world is waiting, anticipating,
your time is fading,
if you never open your eyes
If only you could see,
that there is something you can do,
to make this better
Open your eyes,
your heart will follow
Open your eyes,
see what you've been missing
Open your eyes,
and find the answer
You're world is waiting, anticipating,
but your time is fading,
if you never open your eyes

Open Your Eyes You Can Fly
Intro - speakout
Never be afraid to love
Never be afraid to just be
Just cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Dont cloud your rise with fathers lies
See only what you want to see
To stuplicate the simple truth
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (uh uh)
You can fly
Never be afraid to love (no, no, no...)
Never be afraid to just be
Cast away the chains of doubt
Have the courage to be free
Open your eyes you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (fly, fly, fly)
Open your eyes (yeah) you can fly (fly away)
Open your eyes you can fly
You can fly (mhh)
You can fly (fly away mhhm)
Speakout:
Remember,
You cant wait for others to applaud what you do
So just congratulate youself
And start something new
Open your eyes you can fly (open your eyes)
Open your eyes you can fly (you can fly with me)
You can fly (fly)
Open your eyes (eyes) you can fly (baby yeah)
Open your eyes (fly away with never) you can fly (fly away with never)

Open Arms
If love is what you want
Baby here I am
If tenderness is what you need
Ive got that to give
If you need some affection
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
You come hem youve had a hard day
Every door you tried to open
Was closing in your face
Im right here Ill be right here
Ill embrace you
Ill be open with my heart
Ill let you in
Ill be open with my thoughts
Ill be your best friend
If you need some attention
Baby these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms
Every corner you turn
Trouble come your way
But when you get home
Ill try to be there
And Ill embrace you
These are
These are
These are
Open arms
If time is what you need
Baby Ill stop the clocks
If youre looking for something
Maybe Ive got what you want
If theres one thing to remember
Dont forget that these are open arms
Open arms open arms open arms open arms

I dream with my eyes open
I dream with my eyes open
Of the life I wish to live
And myself, I must believe
I dream with my eyes open
For the lover far away
Whose words of love, with my heart do play
I dream with my eyes open
Of journeying well on this path
‘Though stones and thorns will scrape o’er some parts
I dream with my eyes open
To walk under a benevolent sun
Feeling warm and mellow
I dream with my eyes open
To find the reason I’m here
And in that call, relish every day, my dear
I dream with my eyes open
That when its time to go
I bid adieu, when I’ve done what I had to here

Open Minds
Open your mind,
to things unknown,
search the universe
of your soul.
Open your mind,
to your heart
of feelings
buried deep within.
Open your mind
to your ear
of nature and
its beauty.
Open your mind
to knowledge
of things
unlearned yet.
Open your mind
to days gone
by of memories
vanished away.
Open your mind
to your feelings
hidden away
deep in your heart.
Open your mind
to my heart
to know how
i feel toward you.

Everlasting Love
Hearts gone astray
Keeping up when they go
I went away
Just when you needed me so
You won't regret
I'll come back begging you
Don't you forget
Welcome love we once knew
Yeah
Open up your eyes
Then you'll realize
Here I stand with my
Everlasting love
Need you by my side
Come and be my pride
You'll never be denied
Everlasting love
From the very start
Open up your heart
Feel the love you've got
Everlasting love
This love will last forever
This love will last forever
Hearts gone astray
Keeping up when they go
I went away
Just when you needed me so
You won't regret it
I'll come back begging you
Don't you forget
Welcome love we once knew
Yeah
When life really flows
No one really knows
The sun will have to show them
Everlasting love
Like the sun it shines
Endlessly it shines
You always will be mine
Eternal love
Whenever love went wrong
Ours would still be strong
We'd have our own
Everlasting love
This love will last forever
This love will last forever
Open up your eyes
Then you'll realize
Here I stand with my
Everlasting love
Need you by my side
Come and be my pride
Never be denied
Everlasting love
From the very start
Open up your heart
Feel the love you've got
Everlasting love
Everlasting love
Everlasting love
Everlasting love
Everlasting love
Whatever love went wrong
Ours would still be strong
We'd have our own
Everlasting love
This love will last forever
This love will last forever
Open up your eyes
Then you'll realize
Here I said was my
Everlasting love
Need you by my side
Come and be my pride
Never be denied
Everlasting love
From the very start
Open up your heart
Feel the love you've got
Everlasting love [Repeat until end]

I Never Knew Love
I asked you to come inside my heart
And there you were
I asked for a pure and gentle start
And there you were
I asked fif this love could ever be
The way that I've dreamt of it you see
I never knew love
I asked you to open up my eyes
And there you were
I asked for the keys to paradise
And there you were
They say only ask and you'll receive
I never knew that applied to me
I never knew love
Life is good life is sweet
It's the way we perceive
Cynics say we can dream
Change your mind heal the world
It's easy just believe
I asked for a change in all my life
And there you were
You're everything I had hoped to find
Yes, there you were
I hope and I pray that you will find
A peace and a joy as great as mine
All about love I hope you find love

Politik
Look at the earth from outer space
Everyone must find a place
Give me time and give me space
Give me real, dont give me fake
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Give me time, give us a kiss
Tell me your own politik
And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Just open up your eyes
Give me one, cause one is best
In confusion, confidence
Give me piece of mind and trust
Dont forget the rest of us
Give me strength, reserve control
Give me heart and give me soul
Wounds that heal and cracks that fix
Tell me your own politik
And open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Open up your eyes
Just open up your eyes

Tired Eyes
Well he shot four men in a cocaine deal
And he left them lyin in an open field
Full of old cars with bullet holes in the mirrors.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well, it wasnt supposed to go down that way.
But they burned his brother, you know,
And they left him lying in the driveway.
They let him down with nothin.
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Well tell me more, tell me more, tell me more
I mean was he a heavy doper or was he just a loser?
He was a friend of yours.
What do you mean, he had bullet holes in his mirrors?
He tried to do his best but he could not.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.
Open up the tired eyes,
Open up the tired eyes.
Please take my advice, please take my advice
Please take my advice.

Venus Man Trap
Waiting for opportunity to strike
I have been your biggest fan
What a tour
A little blow to cure your fright
Its what it takes to trap a man
Water me
I am not a desert plant
And there was life before you
When I close
Will I wear my blue eyes when I open this time?
When I close
Or should I wear my green eyes when I open that shine?
And shine in my room underneath the microscope
I remember how it felt
I thought you knew I was always full of hope
But you could only help yourself
When I close
Will I wear my blue eyes when I open this time?
When I close
Or should I wear my green eyes when I open that shine and shine

You & Me
Open up your eyes
See how life time flies
Open up and let the light back in.
Open up your heart
Let the lovin start
Open up and let the light back in.
I was thinking of you and me
Makin love beneath the tree
And now I wonder could it be.
Thinkin bout the times we had
Some were good and some were bad
Guitar fightin the t.v.
I was thinkin bout you and me
I was thinkin bout you and me
I was thinkin of you and me
I was thinkin bout you and me.
Lookin at you just the other night
Dancin in the evening light
True love conquers all.
Old man sittin there
Touch of grey, but he dont care
When he hears his children call.
I was thinkin bout you and me
I was thinkin bout you and me
I was thinkin bout you and me
I was thinkin bout you and me.
Open up your eyes
See how life time flies
Open up and let the light back in.
