Perfect Christmas Present
A gift so precious
only one is given
one thats always been tremendous
a gift that will always be taken
A gift that no other
presents could ever amount to
a present to stay together
of just me and you
Christmas day is just another day
without you by my side
without your words to say
without you as my present to find
Sparkling Christmas lights
shine on my loves delight
see the love thats given
as the Perfect Christmas Present

The Mystery Gift
I once received a exquisite mystery gift,
Which gave my mood, that day, quite a lift.
Inside, was some chocolate covered fruit,
Bought from a chocolatiers of high repute.
With the mysterious gift, I was totally thrilled,
But with wonderment, my mind was then filled.
I was taken aback by the gift, which had been sent,
And, on finding out who purchased it, I was intent.
I wanted to find out who had been this kind,
But, at the shop, no name had been left behind.
While I was there, I sneakily checked out the price,
And was amazed that someone had been that nice!
To whoever sent me the gift, I’d like to say ‘thank you’,
As it really was a very kind and thoughtful thing to do.
Which kind person sent that lovely gift my way,
I, still, am not aware of, even to this very day.

The Gift You Are
This song appears on four albums, and was first released on the flower that shattered the stone album, and has also been released on the stonehaven sunrise, the gift you are and the john denver
Ction - annies song albums.
Imagine a month of sundays
Each one a cloudy day
Imagine the moment the sun came shining through
Imagine that ray of sunshine as you
Remember your darkest hour
With dawn still far away
Remember the way that you longed for mornings light
And think of yourself as a candle in the night
Make believe this is the first day
Everything all brand new
Make believe that the sun is your own lucky star
And then understand the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
You are the promise of all the ages
You are the prodigal son
You are the vision of prophets and sages
You are the only one
Dream of a bright tomorrow
Know that your dream will come true
Carry your dream in a sparkling crystal jar
Then you will know the kind of gift you are
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of spring
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
Like the very first breath of springtime
The gift you are
All the joy that love can bring
The gift you are
All of our dreams come true - yes they do
The gift you are
The gift of you
The gift you are
The gift of you

Christmas At Its Best
To know Christmas at its best, you must come to Christ and rest,
Far from that weary holiday time, into that Light, which is sublime,
For a real meaning to this season, one with a true spiritual reason,
Beyond the songs this world sings, to The Lord of Eternal Things.
Away from all that holiday rush, God brings upon the soul a hush,
Quieting both the heart and mind, to find that gift of another kind,
This really is that special gift, not gained by one’s shopping thrift,
The Gift provided by God’s Grace, one in which you gain by faith.
Men only need to rest and pause, ignoring trees and Santa Claus,
Looking for the deeper meaning, as they seek a spiritual gleaning,
From the unmatched Gift of love, presented by The Father above,
As He presented to men His Son, the Gift from God for everyone.
The Gift of God’s Son Jesus Christ, truly changes a receiver’s life,
Unlike any other gift on this earth, Christ gives to one a New Birth,
Born Again of The Spirit of God, while present on this earthly sod,
Born from above into God’s Family, not for a season but eternally.
Not only does God offer us rest, but, the Gift of Christ is the best,
His Gift, not available in a store, offers the receiver so much more,
Unlike all gifts from seasons past, the Lord’s Gift will eternally last,
For when in Christ you do believe, eternal life with Him you receive.

What If
Such a tiny word, that word if, helps to ignore the present gift,
God’s gift to us of life today, when we put the past in the way,
Today’s a gift to all of us, from the Author of life Christ Jesus,
Yesterday’s past is already gone, and He’d like us to carry on.
What if, only moves us to cast, present thoughts into the past,
Tainting concerns now at hand, with those we can’t understand,
It may even cause us to resent, past issues, in view of present,
What God wants left behind, to give us present peace of mind.
We cannot physically, go back, to alter what we presently lack,
For with the past said and done, we have a present race to run.
Old issues we should not spurn, using all them instead to learn,
As we go forward in this life, following the lead of Jesus Christ.
Allow His Spirit only to retrace, those past issues by His Grace,
As Christ helps you not to repeat, what was in your past defeat.
Christ, has a plan for all of us, and in Him we must simply trust,
And God’s plan for you and me, is not more defeat, but victory.
Believers, God will not forsake, regardless of any past mistake,
God wants us to move ahead, not be filled with regret or dread,
As God takes us by the hand, past issues we can’t understand,
Avoiding that small word if, to focus on Christ our greatest gift.

Life's A Gift
Life’s a gift for you to send
Life’s a gift for god to end
Life’s a gift now you’re with me
Life’s a gift for all to see
Life’s a gift when love is true
Life’s a gift when times look blue
Life’s a gift with the one you trust
Life’s a gift even if UN just
Life’s a gift a ray of sun
Life’s a gift though your heads held to a gun
Life’s a gift when its handed on a tray
Life’s a gift even though it’s always on display
Life’s a gift it’s hard to understand how
Life’s a gift so take advantage of it now

Double Vision
Feeling down n dirty, feeling kinda mean
Ive been from one to another extreme
This time I had a good time, aint got time to wait
I wanna stick around till I cant see straight
Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, its always new to me
My double vision gets the best of me
Never do more than I really need
My mind is racing, but my bodys in the lead
Tonights the night, Im gonna push it to the limit
I live all of my years in a single minute
Fill my eyes with that double vision, no disguise for that double vision
Ooh, when it gets through to me, its always new to me
My double vision always seems to get the best of me - the best of me, yeah
Ooh, double vision, I need my double vision
It takes me out of my head, takin me out of my head
I get my double vision, oh, seeing double double
Oh, I have double vision, yeah, Im getting double vision... (to fade)

The problem to solve is, whether a single or a double government would be most advantageous; and, in considering that point, I am met by this difficulty - that I cannot see that the present form of government is a double government at all.

Present
Bury the Past
Forget the Future
Think about the Present
Be alert and cautious in the present
Do not regret about the past
Or worry about the future
Past is gone
Future is unknown
Present is what you have today
So utilise it to the fullest extent
Its your life's biggest asset
That will fetch you great dividends
Realize that this is a gift given to you by God
That's why it is called as "PRESENT"

Double Trouble
(words & music by pomus - shuman)
Some guys fall in love with one girl, I gotta fall for two
Theres just so much lovin that one hearts supposed to do
So I go around with my heart draggin on the ground
Doggin me around, Im the sorriest sight in town
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!
I guess theres gotta be two dark clouds hangin over me
My future looks a bumpy as a matchbox on the sea
Every time I think that I have finally got it made
Some losin cards are played, I just cant make the grade
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!
I got double trouble, I got double trouble
I got double trouble twice as much as anybody else oh yeah!

Sharing The Ultimate Gift
I want to share a special gift with you that God has given to me,
This gift like most others that you will receive is absolutely free.
However unlike other gifts that you may have received in the past,
This special gift and this one alone through all eternity will last.
Although you can't see this gift, it's the greatest you can receive,
This gift is not in a box, but in the heart of all those who believe.
And even though this gift is one of a kind and very special indeed,
You'll surely want to give this gift away as soon as it is received.
Don't be concerned about giving away something you didn't use,
For God said “Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.”
This gift will surprise you on the day you decide to give it away,
You won't feel any loss at all with more to give the following day.
My friend you will be Eternally Grateful when you finally choose,
To truly embrace but give away this gift that you can never lose.
By now you know this gift is none other than Jesus Christ the Lord,
And your faithful sharing of this gift, by Him, will not be ignored.
For our Great Blessed Hope, who through the ages many have adored,
At His return will bring to all His faithful, an Everlasting Reward.
So the next gift you receive and think you'll treasure forevermore,
Remember that the only truly lasting gift is Jesus Christ The Lord.

Distorted Mind
My passion for war
Is a gift from God?
In all its wisdom it destroyed us all
My passion for war
Is a gift for sure
Passed down to me from history
My passion for war
Is not a crime
It's a process of elimination

Double Wide Paradise
(paul thorn/billy maddox)
I dont want to cry
I dont want to walk the floor
This mobile home
Dont feel like home no more
Since you left tell me what else can I do
Just come back home
Forgive me and forget it
This bed I made
Im tired of sleepin in it
Its freezin cold, and baby that aint cool
Im waitin on you
Here at the ponderosa trailer park
There wasnt nothin that could keep us apart
Then I broke your heart, in our
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise
I bought a swimmin pool
From the man at sears
He put it together
I filled it up with tears
Cant find no happiness no matter what I do
Just cause I got
The treasures of the world
It dont mean nothin
If I aint got you girl
Inside my castle
I got the king size blues
Im waitin on you
So baby when you get to feelin alone
You know I always leave my porch light on
So you can come back home, to our
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise
We can have a second honeymoon
Well throw some ribs on the barbecue
Just like we used to do
Double wide, double wide, double wide paradise
Come on back to our double wide paradise
Double wide, double wide paradise

A Gift Received
The best gift anyone,
Could present to themselves would be...
An ability to actively listen,
With an intention to comprehend.
To leave an exchanged communication done,
As a gift received...
One will always regard as priceless,
With an increasing done to other accepting abilities.

The gift of Love
There is a present inside of me.
As you look in my eyes,
it is evident to see.
It's the light, the gift of Love,
the Creator of heaven and earth has given unto
me.
This wonderful gift is wrapped with empathy,
and it's fragrance is as sweet, as can be.
It is my motivation, the most vital key.
It transcends time, unto all eternity.
It's the only true way, one can live totally free,
to treat others kindly,
reagardless of how they have once treated thee.
Love is a gift to all humanity

A Gift From Me To You
I am sending you all
a gift for Christmas.
The gift isn’t big at all,
but when it blossoms,
it is the biggest gift of all.
It comes with love and hugs
that are just for you to keep
for a rainy day
to chase the blues away.
You won’t see the gift
as it is invisible to see,
but you will know its there
and everyone will see.
You see the gift
I am giving you for Christmas
is something from the heart.
It is too big
to fit in any box.
The gift is the gift of friendship,
the most precious treasure
I can give,
it comes from a loving heart
for as long as I may live.
So please accept my gift
as it comes from me to you.

What A Gift
What a Christmas present for us, all who in Christ have their trust,
What a gift for both you and me, to be transported up to eternity,
When in the twinkling of an eye, we shall be lifted up into the sky,
Up in the clouds, to see our Lord, to see the Gift we long adored.
Far from the gift under the tree, wrapped for passing eyes to see,
It is that One Gift provided by, The Lord God, who reigns on high,
And it was He, who paid the cost, when we were all spiritually lost,
That Gift too, was His sacrifice, paying for sinners, sin’s full price.
All we had to do was to accept, His Gift, that cancels all our debt,
When we simply accept by faith, His Gift available to all by Grace,
For sin’s price, we couldn’t pay, so God, provided for man a way,
Through The Gift of His Son, which today is available to everyone.
Sin’s debt we all have incurred, by living opposed to God’s Word,
While living out this life in sin, as God’s enemy, indifferent to Him,
Separated from The Lord above, yet, He was moved by His Love,
To send all men God’s Gift of Life, through His Son, Jesus Christ.
He is The Gift that we long for, to be in His presence forevermore,
The tree with tinsel we won’t miss, when we enter into eternal bliss,
As we’re snatched into the clouds, to meet Christ, in Holy Crowds,
To see our Savior face to face, God’s only Gift wrapped in Grace.
Tie Our Love
Gonna tie our love in a double knot
'cause these days love gets strained a lot
To give our hearts a double shot
Let's tie our love in a double knot
Woah, if we want to endure
An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure
While we're wrapped up in those ties that bind
I want to make sure we don't unwind
So we'll tie our love in a double knot
'cause these days love gets strained a lot
To give our hearts a double shot
Let's tie our love in a double knot
'cause i've got my dreams, baby you got yours
Put it together, we got a whole lot more
'cause i ain't lookin' for just one night
No, i want to make it the rest of our lives
So lets tie our love in a double knot
'cause these days love gets strained a lot
To give our hearts a double shot
Let's tie our love in a double knot
Woah, oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
Tie our love in a double knot
'cause these days love gets strained a lot
To give our hearts a double shot
Let's tie our love in a double knot
Tie our love in a double knot
Let's tie our love in a double knot
Repeat & fade:
Tie our love in a double knot
