Just One Fix

Blood keeps drinking away
Certain of its destination
Driving through new orleans at night
Gotta find a destination
Just one fix
Life keeps slipping away
Fighting in a war with damnation
Poised, keep cutting away
Im looking in through to salvation
Just one fix
Like if I boarded a train
Trying to take in another station
Join us and the choice will be made
Unless we kill the lie as a nation
Just one fix

My destination

My destination is life at the end of the line
My destination is graduation when it’s time
My destination is my diploma I bet I get mine
My destination is to stop with the lay back being cool
My destination is to reach to top of the school
When you reach the top I want you to look over and have in your hand a four leaf clover
As you step on the edge and start to look down turn around fall back make no sound
So the next destination you reach is the ground

Into The Void

Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away
Talking to myself all the way to the station
Pictures in my head of the final destination
All lined up
(all the ones that arent allowed to stay)
Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away
Tried to save a place from the cuts and the scratches
Tried to overcome the complications and the catches
Nothing ever grows and the sun doesnt shine all day
Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away
Tried to save myself but myself keeps slipping away

Destination Unknown

Im getting outta here cause theres too many complications
Yeah Im getting outta here dont get driven any information
And if they ask you for a number to call just say Im gone thats all
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Ill be gone, gone, gone
Destination unknown, destination unknown
If anybody wants me just say you dont know the address
Cause Ive had enough of the confusion and the madness
And should anybody ever try to stall, just say Im gone thats all
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Ill be gone, gone, gone
Destination unknown, destination unknown
Im tired of playing other peoples games
Tired of waiting for some things to change
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Ill be gone, gone, gone
Destination unknown, destination unknown
Im tired of playing other peoples games
Tired of waiting for some things to change
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Ill be gone, gone, gone
Destination unknown, destination unknown
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Ill be gone, gone, gone
Destination unknown, destination unknown
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home
Destination unknown, Im a long way from home

Keep Driving

Another new york waltz at four a.m.,
In the canyons lost at night
The citys just a jail for me, full of high rise prison walls
And Im riding through this darkness,
cause I know theres life within
And Im searching through the shadows,
Just to find that light again
Keep driving (keep driving),
Let the meter run
Keep driving (keep driving),
Oh the nights not really done
Keep driving
And Im hanging on a memory, and I feel it in the air
Im a prisoner of these lonely streets,
But I know Ill find you there
And oh lord, you look so pretty,
But you can see it in my eyes
And just before my tear will fall, oh you smile and get inside
It seems so real until the light turns green
Dont wake me up, dont ruin this dream, dont take me from my scene
Keep driving, keep driving,
Keep driving, keep driving,
I cant go home, dont take me home, I cant go home alone
They dont tell you when the music stops,
Or how the movie ends
Is it too late once the feelings gone,
To back it up and start it all again?
Oh lord you look so pretty,
And you can see it in my eyes
And just before that tear will fall, oh you smile and get inside
(keep driving) keep driving, driving
I cant go home, dont take me home, I cant go home alone
(keep driving) let the meter run,
(keep driving) dont take me home
(keep driving) ooh, the nights still young
(keep driving) I gotta find someone,
(keep driving) I gotta find someone,
(keep driving) I gotta find someone,
(keep driving) I gotta find someone,
(keep driving) ooh find someone,
(keep driving) I gotta find someone,
(keep driving) find someone,
(keep driving) find someone,
(keep driving, keep driving, keep driving, keep driving, keep driving)

From A Moving Train

Written by gerry beckley, 1998
Found on human nature.
Ive seen the ides of march
And Ive seen the fall of rome
Ive seen all kinds of stuff
But I never see my home
If my life-line is
These million miles of track
One thing I know by now
There is no turning back
From a moving train
From a moving train
From a moving train
From a moving train
If every venture was
A path to no avail
Id still be rolling down
This never ending trail
If we had a destination
In our sights
We would be helpless as
We passed it in the night
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)
And if by chance you find a woman
That you might love along the way
You better hold her tight
Tell her everythings alright
Or she might jump along the way
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)
From a moving train (hear the engine running)
From a moving train (you can get on board)
From a moving train (hear the motor humming)
From a moving train (see, youve gotta see the light)

Rocknroll Damnation

They say that you play too loud
Well baby thats tough
They say that you got too much
Cant get enough
They tell you that you look a fool
And baby Im a fool for you
They say that your minds diseased
Shake your stuff
Chorus:
And its a rock n roll damnation
Mas own whippin boy
Rock n roll damnation
Take a chance while you still got the choice
You say that you want respect
Honey for what?
For everything that youve done for me
Thanks a lot
Get up off your bended knees
You could set your mind at ease
My temperatures running hot
Ive been waiting all night for a bite of what you got
Chorus
Damnation, theyre puttin you down
Damnation, all over town
Damnation, cause youre way outta reach
Livin on the streets you gotta practice what you preach
Chorus
Damnation, left a happy home
Damnation, to live on your own
Damnation, you want to live in sin
Damnation, its a rock n roll -
Damnation, just a bundle of joy
Damnation, youre a toy for a boy
Damnation, you got dollars in your eye
Damnation, chasin that pie in the sky
Damnation, rock n roll -
Damnation

Meet Me At The Station

(brother williams memphis sanctified singers)
Well if I get to heaven before you do
I will meet you at the station when your train comes along
Ill be watching and waiting, mother dear, for you
I will meet you at the station when your train comes along
Father, when the train
Father, when the train
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
When the train
Father, when the train comes along
I will meet you at the station when your train comes along
Well if my eyes see the glory, before yours do
I will meet you at the station when your train comes along
Ill be watching and waiting, father, for you
I will meet you at the station whe your train comes along
Father, when the train
Father, when the train
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
Father, when the train
Father, when the train comes along
I will meet you at the station when your train comes along
Now if my feet touch the homeline before yours do
I will meet you at the station when the train comes along
Ill be watching and waiting, my brother, for you
I will meet you at the station when the train comes along
When the train
When the train
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
When the train
When the train comes along
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
When the train
When the train
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
When the train
When the train comes along
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
Now if you see gods country before I do
Will you meet me at the station when my train comes along
Will you be there watching, sister, for me
Will you meet me at the station when my train comes along
When my train
When my train
Meet me at the station when my train comes along
When my train
Sister, when my train comes along
Will you meet me at the station when my train comes along
When the train
When the train
Meet me at the station when my train comes along
When the train
Oh, when the train
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
Meet me at the station when the train comes along
Meet me at the station when the train comes along

State Of The Nation

You can walk, or you can run
You dont have to be someone
I went on a summer cruise
Upon an ocean born to lose
My brother said that he was dead
I saw his face and shook my head
Can you see where we cant be
Were losing our blood in the sea
cause its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Yes, its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Oh, the state of the nation
Is causing deprivation
Oh, the state of the nation
Is causing deprivation
From my home I traveled far
I drove in my stolen car
When it broke down, I kissed the ground
cause I dont kiss when youre around
I dont find that I have been
The portrait of an only son
If thats the case, then who could tell
Where my story had begun?
Cause its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Yes, its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Yes, the state of the nation
Thats causing deprivation
Oh, the state of the nation
Thats causing deprivation
Even now, Im all alone
Behind a wall thats made of stone
I think about where we have been
And all the sights that could be seen
I know it all could be worthwhile
If only I could force a smile
Now we turn our backs to the sea
The shame of a nation well never be
Cause its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Yes, its the state of the nation
Thats holding our salvation
Oh, the state of the nation
Is causing deprivation
Yes, the state of the nation
Is causing deprivation

Trouble On The Trains

Many of us often have to travel by train,
But the delays and overcrowding drive us insane.

The announcement at the station, informs of delays due to leaf fall,
But the computerized voice used, doesn’t sound very sorry at all.
Your train is now running well over twenty minutes late,
But, annoyingly, you have no choice, but to stand and wait.
At the watch on your wrist, you constantly look,
While some others immerse themselves in a book.
Then there are times when we have the wrong kind of snow,
Which means all of the trains are on a complete go-slow.
Stood on the crowded platform, you look down the track,
But, of a train approaching, unfortunately there’s a big lack.
The train slowly pulls in to the station – it’s finally here,
And from the waiting passengers, up goes a big cheer.

More often than not, there isn’t a spare seat,
So you spend your entire journey stood on your feet.
You stand tightly packed together like a tin of sardines,
Along with a large group of loud, gobby, young teens.
You feel awkward with their public displays of affection,
And quickly avert your eyes in the opposite direction.
At the next station, passenger wise, getting on, are even more,
So now you’re squashed together twice as tightly as before.
Inside the train, it’s getting really hot and stuffy.
Inside you, you’re feeling claustrophobic and puffy.
There are very similar scenes up and down the entire nation,
And you’re overjoyed when you finally reach your destination.

My Destination

And
Feelin the way I do
Wouldnt last a mile without you
When Im losin the way, the things that you say
Take me there
My destination
My destination
Is by your side
Right by your side
And i
Ive taken so long, I know
Never had so far to go
Its not where you can be, its what you can see
That takes you there
Your destination
Your destination
Its here inside, right here inside

Those Deliverance-Craving

Absolute reality
Has got a million wings!
Salvation is not
In any holy, specific destination,
But in devoting
Every pulse of life
For those
Who have destined
With no destination.
Oh, dear poet(s)
Keep adding
Fragrance and Hues
To this blessed planet
With your
Pulsating shoots
And sanctifying myrtles.

Let those deliverance-craving

Immerse in your (our) blessed
Verse-Rivers!

Ozy...

the fact Ozy is that you are dead
and no one remembers you

what remains of you is the usual sound
of the vast desert
bubbling on too many
consonants

you hint you were once a king
and built the biggest empire

they won't believe you Ozy
it was too remote
and time wraps everything Ozy
like how the spider
wraps and eats what it catches
by its slender
hands

Ozy you're cool.

i mean you are as cold as the snowflake
that lands on my skin
and in an instant melts
just like the rest Ozy,
&
me included

our destination will always be
that name of the
forgotten train station

but who knows if by chance
we reach
the promises destination

that on the other hand there is such thing
as an afterlife

the promises of forevermore.

Gotta Find Me A Better Day

I been gettin lonely, too much these days.
I been gettin lonely, I guess I better get away.
But where can I go thats real? lifes a stage on a ferris wheel.
And the actors are all fighting just to see who gets the lead in the play.
Oh, no, no.
I gotta find me a better day.
Talk about down, I feel so lonely.
Talk about down, Im startin to worry.
Dont really want to be all alone. I cant get along with the chicks at home.
The world just dont seem right, my head is spinnin, and I hate whats goin down.
You gotta find me a better day.
Oh, gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
You gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
You gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find, gotta find,
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find, gotta find,
Gotta find,
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.
Gotta find me a better day.

When Angels Cry

(acrostic)

War and poverty throughout each nation
Hellish armies march in formation
Eternal destruction - battle cry of damnation
Nothing seems to stop their destination

Abandoned children - broken - left to die
Natures once bountiful earth - in short supply
Greed and corruption - we cannot deny
Enlightenment - rejected as a lie
Liberties taken for granted - gone awry
Spite - moral scar of mankind - evils ally

Compassion held in captivity - deprivation
Revelation revealed - the end is near - desperation
You ask - is there salvation...
...when angels cry

Waiting For The Catering

Come along we play tonight. We'll go and have
some fun. A pool we dive in, we're drinking and
driving. The feel of a loaded gun.
Bang bang party party. Bang bang party party.
Bang bang party tonight.
The night comes to an end, so we're about to go.
Destination; the venue of tomorrow's show.
We are bored and we are horny on this lonely trip.
We're all dreaming of a sexual relationship.
We're on the road. Would you care to join us?
The evening carefully confiscates the afternoon.
We are waiting for the catering in our dressing
room. I wonder if we are to have a bite.
The prospect, we feed ourselves with beer tonight.

The New Year Train

We're waiting at the platform in the New Railway Station
There the train comes and no destination?
And the banner shows it's a Youth Train!
I checked our tattered season-tickets
Old age's there and faded.
I was so sad when she asked;
'Darling, we could hide in the Goods compartment.'

This Life Is A Station

This life is a station,
where we are waiting
for another train
to take us away from
here to our final
destination, our extreme goal.
Among us some are honest,
Some dishonest, some pure
and a few in between these....
The spiritually void souls,
The cheats, the sinners
the saints, the commoners, kings
all are waiting for their trains.....

My Destination

The distance is not so far
Time is very short
It has to be utilized properly
My journey takes me to my destination
The world knows my destination
In a few seconds
In a few minutes
In a few hours
In a few days
In a few months
In a few years....
In every moment my journey takes me to my destination

Highway To Heaven

A beginning without an end
Is a meaning to something infinite
I have ran out of solutions
And came to this conclusion
My destination is highway to heaven
There used to be light at the end of the tunnel
Now it’s all so dark
And where I am going there is no turning back
My destination is highway to heaven
Head in the clouds hoping, praying for better days
Because I know in God’s hands lie my destiny
My destination is highway to heaven
To built up the pressure, grow a conscience
And then turn the man into an intellectual psychopath
So he could be acknowledge by those who are blocking his way
My destination is highway to heaven
To go through what I have been through
And then collapse
Well hell, I’m on my way to heaven.

No destination is too far, provided....

No destination is too far
Provided
You keep moving towards it
Regardless of your speed

It was a vow
To walk 370 long kilometers
Linking two pilgrimage towns
In South India
Srirangam and Tirumala

Left Srirangam one evening
Raining, still walked
Taking rest during nights
Walking the entire day time
Night halts anywhere
It was either a temple,
School building, Government office
Lodge, roof top of a hotel
Or even a cattle shed
Uncertain food intakes
Drinking water shortages
Suffered injuries
Cramps, biting footwear
But one thing was ever on-going
That was walking
Reached the destination
On the 10th day night
Looking back it was
Highly satisfying

Undertook similar walks
But of smaller distances
110 kilometres and later
155 kilometres

One simple lesson

No destination is too far
Provided
You keep moving towards it
Regardless of your speed
