What He Say
Ive seen many countries
Argue about human lives
But one thing that stays the same is
The clubs are always full at night
Pick out any far-out place
Like kenya or swaziland
Doesnt matter what the place
Theyll still be dancing to the band
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble) lets dance!
Say youve found a homeland? (move to it, move to it)
Say youve found a clubland? (get to it, get to it)
Now youve got a song? (groove to it, groove to it)
Got to find a partner (just get to it, get to it)
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble) lets dance!
Lets dance!
Ive seen many a race of people
Argue many things before
But there is one language that
Gets you understood for sure
Not a language of the mouth
Its only for the feet
Grab a russian by the hands
And he will feel the need
Thats right!
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble)
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble)
(mumble mumble jumble) what he say?
(garble warble farble) lets dance!
Lets dance!

Wild Man
Ive never tried these reason my crest(? ),
I got tired of those administrations caught
With their trousers down,
Yea poor fools just to exercise their intellect,
Power matters rift,
Looking for another kicker, yeah yeah.
You call me a fool when I laugh at you,
But how do you know you wont put me in
The drink,
And sit behind an empty glass.
How long must we show the world,
Blah blah blah mumble mumble
Chorus
Im a wild man, dont you know it,
Im a wild man, dont you know it,
Blah blah blah mumble mumble
Im a wild man, dont you know it,
They cant capture me.
Im a wild man, dont you know it?
Im a wild man, dont you know it.
I think Im going soul,
And I think Im gonna retire,
Mumble mumble mumble so terrified to see you.
At least inside mumble mumble mumble
An endless sea of misery,
With every single word of scripture, yeah yeah.
How do you know what to do,
When theres so sickness in the world?
How can you sleep when theres mumble mumble mumble
Blah blah blah mumble mumble
Blah blah blah mumble mumble
Divisionary policies.
Chorus
Im a wild man, dont you know it,
Im a wild man, dont you know it?

Glad To Be Unhappy
Lorenz hart / richard rodgers
Look at yorself.
If you had the sense of humor,
You would laught to beat the band.
Look at yourself.
Do you still belive in rumor
That romance is simply grand?
Since you took it right
On the chin,
You have lost that bright
Toothpaste grin.
My mental state is all a jumble.
I sit around and sadly mumble.
Fools rush in, so here I am,
Very glad to be unhappy.
Unrequited loves a bore,
And Ive got it pretty bad.
But for someone you adore,
Its a pleasure to be sad
Like a straying baby lamb
With no mammy and no pappy,
Im so unhappy,
But oh, so glad.

Shoot From The Hip
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
Not a mumble do I grumbled,
Nor backstabbing gossiped hits.
I'm not one to leave you wondering...
What's on my mind,
Not a bit.
I don't hide my words,
When I choose to be heard.
If you want to get it straight.
I shoot from the hip.
Without a moment of delay.
I say it I don't spit.
If it's not liked how it is,
That's your business...
I'm not pissed.
Nor will you leave me in a fit.
To quiver with shut lips.
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
Not a mumble do I grumbled,
Nor pout and sit.
I'm not the kind to leave you wondering,
What's on my mind to admit!
Or suggest you see a psychic...
To tell you what you want and like it!
If you want to get it quick.
I shoot from the hip.
I'm not the kind to leave you wondering,
What's on my mind to admit!
If it's not liked as it is...
I'm not the kind to get pissed.
I'll deliver what I give you,
And that is it!
'So you're sayin' you do what? '
I shoot from the hip.
'What about the ears of others?
I shoot from the hip.
'What if they should have druthers? '
I said I shoot from the hip.
If they don't want to hear it,
Like it is from my lips...
They can turn around and I will kick them,
Where they are split!
Not a mumble do I grumbled.
I shoot from the hip.
No stumble do I fumble on...
I shoot from the hip!
If it's not liked how it is,
I will not get pissed.
Nor will I leave you quietly,
To quiver with shut lips.

The Mumble Syndrome (Fun Poem 104)
Do you ever get one of those days
when the brain runs amok
and the tongue won’t get into gear
and all you can utter is gibberish
for the whole world to hear.
I think we all know some politicians
that could easily fit that bill.
They call it the mumble syndrome
and we all get a touch of it sometimes
and always when we least expect it.
The bridegroom at his wedding
gets up to make a toast to his in-laws
when his brain starts to race
and his tongue isn’t quick enough
and he forgets the in-laws name
and starts to toast someone else.
Then there is the proposal
and the guy gets down on one knee
with his delivery ready.
The brain begins to go berserk
and his tongue goes in a different direction.
He begins to ask someone
with a different name if she will marry him.
I remember trying to learn a new dance once
and my wife said to me.
“You weren’t doing it right.”
“But I was, my feet were doing it
but my boots weren’t.”
And the mumble syndrome struck again
only this time with me.

Sunset Grill
Lets go down to the sunset grill
We can watch the working girls go by
Watch the basket people walk around and
Mumble
And stare out at the auburn sky
Theres an old man there from the old world
To him, its all the same
Calls all his customers by name
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
You see a lot more meanness in the city
Its the kind that tears you up inside
Hard to come away with anything that feels
Like dignity
Hard to get home with any pride
These days a man makes you somethin
And you never see his face
But there is no hiding place
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Respectable little murders pay
They get more respectable every day
Dont worry girl, Im gonna stick by you
And someday soon were gonna get in that
Car and get outta here
Lets go down to the sunset grill
Watch the working girls go by
Watch the basket people walk around and
Mumble
And gaze out at the auburn sky
Maybe well leave come springtime
Meanwhile, have another beer
What would we do without these jerks
Anyway?
Besides, all our friends are here
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill
Down at the sunset grill

And you ask me why I grow my hair
And you ask me why Im in a band
I dig doin one night stands
And you wanna see me do my thing
All you gotta do is plug me into high

I speak BASIC to clients, 1-2-3 to management, and mumble to myself.
24/7 Paradox
A man lost within the seams of his dreams
Sees
Himself gazing into the face of the TV screen
Flashes of a scene blink a wild child
Pointing to the heavens with no sense of denial
The pixels jumble and the audio
Whispers to a mumble
Impossible to hear over the low growing rumble
Then the screen changes and there’s a young woman and man
Dressed in fancy clothes holding each other’s hands
And just like the first time the colors all mixed
Showing something new when it was finally fixed
An old man sat in a moving chair with a book
An old woman walked by with something that was cooked
She said future was ready and the old man got up
Walked straight to the screen and the signal got cut
The boy woke with a fright in the dim of the night
TV was staring at him
He was going to be alright

Sunday 4: 44 A.m.
the church bell sounds.
you wake up.
you wash your face.
comb your hair and
wear the best dress
on sunday.
you look again
in the mirror to check
if all about you is well
and presentable.
you take the rosary
and the prayer book.
you read the gospel.
you mumble your prayers,
you thank your husband.
you take the puppy.
you smile again in the
mirror. you thank God.
now you open the gate
and head for the nearby
church and hear mass
and the usual sermon
of the parish priest.
90% of your life
is devoted to religion.
10% is devoted
to anything else.
you have aged.
you still mumble.
i still wonder whether
it is you who misunderstands me
or i misunderstanding you.
everything seems to be
mangled and mingled.
when you come back
breakfast is ready and
everyone in the house
pretends that there is nothing
wrong with the table, or the
cover, or the broken pieces
of the glass.The maid is
quick in sweeping them
away from the door into
that thick grass beside
the window of this house.
sunday morning is still
our morning. A nice one.
the sun has come and
we are planning for another
picnic in the nearby beach.
there will be no questions.

The Spirit Of St. Louis V
In my consotium,
Of blue tongues and red tongues!
But the yellow tongue came in to respect my muse,
And like the colours of the rainbow to tell my story as an African.
The wolves of the night and the birds of the day,
Cure the rabies to give them babies! !
For i do take my afternoon nap under the big trees,
And the heat of Africa is all about my sweet muse.
Tie up your lace to win the race set before you,
For the race of this world is all about left-handed and right-handed;
But respect him or her to move up with life,
And like the joy of my mind in the land of talented people.
I've got my right brain to think from and,
My left-hand to write with;
But talented with the muse of love when the sun shines on me,
For Mother Africa is my home.
Mumble, grumble, fumble, crumble, tumble, jumble, bumble, humble;
Humble yourself when your neighbours tumble,
And like a bumble-bee in the land of sweet roses!
But don't crmble the bread when someone has not eaten.

When The Day Is Over
when the day is over
you walk your way towards home
and keep the silence
about what happened
your lips, and they say, they cannot help themselves,
shall try to mumble and move like a wounded man
asking for help, yet, you keep the promise to yourself
be gentle, and be so careful
let your silence reign
let there be no talking pain.

Under The Cover Of The Blanket Of Darkness
under the cover
of the blanket of darkness
we feel the beating
of the fears in our hearts
and our mouths
mumble the need of
hands
however, lonely as we are
we like the beauty of the
silent island
not wanting to touch
the cloud the wind
simply because there is
nothing there

Last night you left me and slept
Last night you left me and slept
your own deep sleep. Tonight you turn
and turn. I say,
'You and I will be together
till the universe dissolves.'
You mumble back things you thought of
when you were drunk.
This Mood Is Yours
All you want to do is sit, mumble and fight.
Like that should be a part of our daily appetite!
But you can
Crumble with it.
I'm not gon'
Baby sit it!
You believe your actions are foreplay to making love.
Since that's the way it was when we were cooing like some doves!
But you can
Crumble with it.
I'm not gon'
Baby sit it!
Catching butterflies and watching busy bees on flowers was our 'thing! '
Time has passed us by and now you want to justify my lack of taste...
For these scenes you're making!
All you want to do is sit, mumble and fight.
Like that should be a part of our daily appetite!
But you can
Crumble with it.
I'm not gon'
Baby sit it!
You believe your actions are foreplay to making love.
Since that's the way it was when we were cooing like some doves!
But you can
Crumble with it.
I'm not gon'
Baby sit it!
Will you please pass the bacon!
My toast is too cool for the jam.
Do you mind nukin' my scramble eggs?
And when you're done with pouting...
Pull the cord on the ceiling fan!
Your heat ain't stoppin'
I know you're trying to crank me up to see me crunchy too!
But what you do has lost its cuteness and its hoochie coo...
And taste for homemade liquor!
'When the moon would shine and flicker!
And both of us got 'lit' up quicker.'
But those days then...
Don't make these wasted quarrels today right to fight!
Please pass the pepper with the butter knife.
You believe your actions are foreplay to making love.
Since that's the way it was when we were cooing like some doves!
But you can
Crumble with it.
I'm not gon'
Baby sit it!
You can
Just forget it!
I'm not gon'
Trouble with it!
This mood is yours not mine,
To visit!
