Lava Lamp
In the half light of the evening
I could almost see you glow, I can tell by the way you're moving,
Time may be right to let you know,
you've got a many coloured halo, the body of venus
a babe rainbow and if I come on any closer, I might fall into your silhouette
but the shape of things to come is constantly changing
so let it, so let it, so let it flow
lava lava lava lamp, lava lava lava lamp
indigo, violet and blue, can we meet where the edge is blur cause I am comin' atcha, like a bug eye heading for the burn
the truth is I can't stay away, no I wanna let you light my volcano
and maybe it's just my imagination, but you never know
because the shape of things to come is constantly changing
so let it, so let it, so let it flow
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
so let it, so let it, so let it ...
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on
lava lava lava lamp, I'd love to turn you on

Sonnet: The Volcanic Eruption
Mount Etna is alive, awake once more;
It spews forth red-hot lava by the tonnes;
Hell has broken loose again, in its core;
The neighbourhood is praying hard for once!
The lava flows over the mountain-side;
And destroys flora, fauna by its flood;
And countless are the beasts that may have died;
In forest-fires and the blazing mud!
The air is smoke and dust-laden and hot;
It settles on the tenements, landscape;
Alas! From havoc Mother Nature wrought,
People barely manage to just escape!
But why does Nature snort Dragon-like fires,
That light a million mega-funeral pyres?

Volcano
Where is the poor man's wealth?
I shouted in a dream.
Where is the poor man's dignity?
I cried in a dream.
I saw the black smoke
blowing from the mountain's peak.
Lava, the earth's blood river
flowed everywhere.
A clergyman's hermitage
miser's money, beggar's till and prostitutes beauty
all converted to stone.
Farmers, fields, priceless graveyards
Kings, Queens, Horses, Elephants and the forest too
All had been covered with Lava.
Only the God has escaped and remained in the sky
because he is not a human being.

Chorus:
Now i don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
Chorus:
Let me say now i don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
Ground she's movin' under me
Tidal waves out on the sea
Sulphur smoke up in the sky
Pretty soon we learn to fly
Chorus:
Let me hear ya now i don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
Now my girl quickly say to me
Mon you better watch your feet
Lava come down soft and hot
You better lava me now or lava me not
Chorus:
Let me say now i don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
-- spoken: "mr utley..."
No time to count what i'm worth
'cause i just left the planet earth
Where i go i hope there's rum
Not to worry mon soon come
Chorus:
Now i don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
Chorus:
One more now i don't know (ah he don't know)
I don't know (he don't know, mon)
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
But i don't want to land in new york city
Don't want to land in mexico (no no no)
Don't want to land on no three mile island
Don't want to see my skin aglow (no no no)
Don't want to land in commanche sky park
Or in nashville, tennessee (no no no)
Don't want to land in no san juan airport
Or the yukon territory (no no no)
Don't want to land no san diego
Don't want to land in no buzzards bay (no no no)
Don't want to land on no ayotollah
I got nothing more to say
Chorus:
I don't know
I don't know
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow
Chorus:
Just a one more, i don't know (he don't know)
I don't know (i don't know, man)
I don't know where i'm a gonna go
When the volcano blow

100 degree C
Fire, fire, fire
The earth is burning
No spring, no autumn, no snowfall,
No green leaves
My forest, my trees, my bamboos,
My flowers,
Crying in the midnight
Winter becomes summer
Summer become lava
Lava becomes human
My clouds, my rain, my ponds,
My rivers, my lakes, my oceans,
Each looks like the sand of desert
Buildings are high
Furniture is beautiful
Nuclear weapons are pretty
But the morning dews never fall down
The sky is start burning
My trees getting vaporizing
They make me boil
Human beings make me fire
If I stop cry today
Everything will disappear tomorrow
Don’t let you keep me at 100 degree C
Kind for tomorrow
Kind for your souls!

Molten Love
Lowering your thighs
...To mine
Set to take your ride
Lay me down on my bed
...rolling into the shadows
of the night
Entering into a neverworld
...without a care...we dare
There is no fright
With Passion...Carnal Lust
Tasting you, Like a thirst,
AWAKENING
The fires within you
Ride, Ride
Release The Lava
Of the passion feast,
Ride, Ride
My thickeness deep down to my soul,
Ride, Ride Till I die of desire,
Release the Molten Lava,
Molten
And Gold.

Little Piggy
A little way back
where the end meets the road
Turn your back
& I might reload
A bullet in your head
& one for your brain
Be another one face down in the rain
Little piggy, little piggy
what do you see?
You're lookin' at death
when you're lookin' at me
Little piggy, little piggy
what should you do?
I am the devil what's comin' for you
The moon won't sink
& the sun won't shine
I season my blood
with turpentine
Everything is true
when you know what's real
A (sick?) black dog
gettin' drunk on the wheel
Little piggy, little piggy
what do you see?
You're lookin' at death
when you're lookin' at me
Little piggy, little piggy
what should you do?
I am the devil & I'm comin' for you
I crawl on the ground
& I start to bleed
I'm the one you dream about
when you sleep
(Eyes of death?)
& bone in blood
Your lungs are freakin' out
when you're drownin' in the mud
Little piggy, little piggy
what do you see?
You're lookin' at death
when you're lookin' at me
Little piggy, little piggy
what should you do?
I am the devil what's comin' for you

Doom
See no evil, Hear no evil,
Speak no evil, that we learnt
That is why we did not notice
When the whole country burnt
With the lava of corruption,
emanating fire and fume
Grasping all in its flames
Bringing this world to doom
Not a single job can be
Got without connections,
Nor can the children see
A future without donations
Rapport with the right person
Is a must to rise upward
Who does not care for it
Does not go forward
Corruption, Match-fixing, Donation,
Approaches and Bribery,
Is there anything further yet
Left for us to see
There is a need for revolution
Corruption which will beat
Which will douse this lava
And its mighty fume and heat
Someday all this will change
And for the better, hope I,
So the coming generations
Will not have to sit and cry;
When all will be educated
From the king to the urchin,
The world will then be
A paradise to live in.

Pompeii
Rest on shores with lost Pompeii
Molten red silk disguises ideology
Control the mother of serpents
Burgundy tapestry covers conceit
All the vacant look on the war
Rattlesnake quills
Under the lava feel broken shackles
Some fly like angel men
Some are crushed in themselves
Public baths serenade slave ships
Hot dusky cells of bi-polar chains
Resident split of matter and soul
Screams as silent as patricide
Incest where glass eyes stare
Covered in lava like living strife
Casts of hot thermo dynamics
Like Camus silent universe
Purple cloaks amidst the emaciated
Vesuvius has no roses
Pompeii burns like an entombed pharaoh

The Girl Who Had Pele's Hair
For: Samantha
The beautiful young red head
moves in mysterious ways
as she pulled her lava orange stick of wax
from her box of crayons
She is not a girl
actually more of a woman
Yet something in her eyes
is where the secret lies
In the Hawaiian sunset her hair twists and turns
rips and burns
like rivers of burning lava
trust me when I say
'The Past is Today'
Part of Pele is in her
The red head sharpens her crayon
smiling to herself
'I used to have a box of crayons
like that when I was little, ' says the teacher next to her
His face is strained and stressed,
A perfect contrast to the girl
'I used to get upset when my crayons
wore down to nubs, ' says the teacher.
The girl with the lava hair smiles,
'You still do, ' she says softly.
The teacher looks at her,
his eyes far away.
Years later the teacher stops his car,
on a rural road, next to an old lady walking,
The old lady's formerly red hair replaced,
by Pele's grayish silver ash.
The teacher rolls down his window,
The old lady smiling through missing teeth.
'Do you need a ride? '
The Teacher asks the old lady.
The old lady looks down the open road.
She shakes her head.
The teacher smiles with tears in his eyes,
And a feeling that will not go away,
remembering the past today.

St. Helens
This volcanic mountain stands in great majesty
Pregnant with knowledge o'er time
Upon the threshold of birthing baskests of lava filled knowledge
Todays Pilgrims take on its steep climb;
Longing for answers of its history
Of this planet and perhaps e'en beyond
At the base of this most gand mountain
The Pilgrims kneel in awe of what has been found;
Cavernous caves formed o'er the years
Tiny echos of the pilgrims voices are heard
Nearby-birds in a nest-make for the best
Flying 'neath the mountain are the Bluebirds;
In the space surrounding this mountain
Multiple eulogies are played in the thin air
But with nary a casket only knowledge filled lava baskets
Words of knowledge of the mountain now lay bare;
Mount Saint Helens
In Remembrance of Her Eruption in 1980
And how many of my aunts and uncles
Had to move further away because of the
Volcanic ash and debris in the air.

Poetry is the lava of the imagination whose eruption prevents an earthquake.
If you ever drop your keys into a river of molten lava, let 'em go, because, man, they're gone.

You can’t shut spilling
Maybe I cannot lick as you are a flame.
Can you prevent me from getting from you the light?
Maybe I cannot reach as you are fire.
Can you keep me from getting its warmth?
Maybe I dare not approach as you are a lava.
Can you strip me of its frozen granite? .
Be whatever you like, as near or far,
I shall reap from you as much as I can.

The brain is a stage for words
words are alive as our grey matter
the brain affords a stage they play out
their full splendour
taking on new clothes, new shades,
little lava morph into butterflies and
flutter their way into our poetic realm

Time heals...
IT IS still the dog inside us
that tries to impress others with
the waggling of our
invincible tails,
The dragon that spits fire
and destroys houses and gardens
within us
still hides and never defeated
Outside our hearts and minds
The face shows the glow of the moon
calm, gentle
No sign of an earthquake or typhoon
Reserved like a table for two
Like lovers hugging on the lane
by the boulevard
You must admit
IT is a matter of keeping the balance
Molten lava inside
Yet a garden of roses and olive trees
Outside
One still has to figure out
The outcome
Time heals, Time judges.
