Apocalypse Means....
apocalypse means...
revelation!
in our case,
the revelation
of what we've done
to ourselves!
we hold the keys,
the map, and the gun...
no need to blame
any higher power,
or fate....
the keys, the map,
and the gun....
held by hands
that are human!

Music Is Philosophy
MUSIC IS PHILOSOPHY
Music is philosophy that's understood
without a need to read the book.
While Judaism is the Jews' religion, statehood
won't fully let them off the hook.
John Maseng in the Los Angeles Jewish Journal,5/25-31, writes about a production of Osvaldo Golijov's "Ainadamar, " an opera that tells the story of Garcia Lorca's life, and his death at the hand of the Falangists, through the eyes of his mistress, the actress Margarita Xirgu. The opera is being produced by the Long Beach Opera Company. Golijov told Maseng:
Jewish music is a point of view, it's a way of experiencing the world that at is translated into the music…There is something about music that transcends any need for explanation. I always feel that music is a sort of philosophy that's understood without a need to read the book. Not all music is universal, but all good music is universal."

I Wanna Take You Higher
Beat is getting stronger,
Music getting longer too,
Music is a thought to me,
I want it, I want ta..
I want to take you higher!
I want to take you higher!
Baby, baby, baby light my fire
I want to take ya, take ya higher
I want to take you higher...
-
It is nitty gritty
Music working in your city too
Music is a thought to me
I want it, I want it..
(chorus)
-
Higher! higher! higher! higher! higher! higher! higher! higher!
A little bit softer now
Beat is right there,
Push you into the groove
The song is there to help you move

Hey!, what was that you guys were saying?
(boom shaka-laka-laka, boom shaka...)
No, you said you were gonna take me somewhere... (higher!)

Higher Plane
Wake Me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away
I want to be with you
I want to be free
I want to be connected to everyone I see
(Ohh) Ooo... everyone moving with the same emotion
(Ohh) Ooo... and he looks just like a silent word being spoken
Wake Me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away
Rhythm is my spirit
Rhythm is my speech
Rhythm is pulsating
The rhythm of the street
(Ahh) Ooo... to find myself in the still of the thunder
(Ahh) Ooo... 'til another moment passing by pulls me under... pulls me under
Wake me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away
I want to be with you
Ohhhhhhh Yeah!
Wake me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away
I want to be with you
I want to be free
I want to be connected from my heart to be beat
Beam myself in the light against the darkness
'Til your love descends and smoothes away all the harshness, all the harshness
Wake me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away
Wake me
Shake me
Come on take me
To a Higher Plane
Make the music and the rhythm
Carry me away-ay-ay-ay-ay

Revelation
Revelation
This is the time for revelation
You cant impress me with your education
Cause what I want from you is not your head
But I tell you what to do with it before we go to bed
And that is:
Throw it away
Revelation
Youve got a boyfriend with long black hair
I tell you what baby I dont care
You took my finger so test the rest
Compare me to your heinz and then
Tell me whos best, and
Throw him away...
Revelation
This is the time for revelation
So let down your pants
She believes in a God above
She says the Bible is the book of love
She says: take me in your arms
And Ill tell you what Ill do
I love you tonight and then Ill kick you, and:
Throw you away...

What Music Does?
Music from the heart
Brings out much desire.
Music in its part
Claims the soul with fire.
Music from the start
Rises to inspire.
Music of the art
Makes one to admire.
Music drives one smart
To spring well much higher.

In These Moments Of Revelation
IN THESE MOMENTS OF REVELATION
In these moments of revelation
We are where we are meant to be.
It may be the Music of a voice
Or it may be some manifestation of great Light in words
A Poem-
It may be in a deed of Courage-
It is when we see in the world
And in humanity
A Greatness that justifies and sanctifies Everything.
We thank God who Gives us Moments of Life
Where the Beauty of Being
Lives in us
And makes us know too
We are at home
In Your soul.

What one decides to do in crisis depends on one's philosophy of life, and that philosophy cannot be changed by an incident. If one hasn't any philosophy in crises, others make the decision.

The philosophy to live
The life is
respect and dignity
My philosophy of
life is to
live with dreams
Is satisfying to
think at the
philosophy to live
The philosophy to
live is sacred
and genuine
Is essential that
the philosophy to
live is a
conscious and satisfying
act of our
personal existence
The philosophy to
live must be
defended from excessive
attacks
The philosophy to
live will be
a peaceful and
motivated revolution
The life is
a great and
magnificent work
The life must
be lived slowly
because only thus
can be authentic
The life is
not appearance
The life travels
in the present
The life is
an alternation of
emotions and sensations
There shouldn't be
obsessions in life
because it's an
unrepeatable and extravagant
thing

Lift Me Higher
Follow the sound that is far away
Cause the love that I found
Becomes stronger everyday
Please take my hand so we can fly away
Then youll understand
That the love I have for you will always stay.
Cant we fly away
Reach your hand and follow me
Let me be your fantasy
Lift me higher now
Lift me higher now
Let the music take control
Of your body and your soul
Lift me higher now
Lift me higher now

Forward ever ascending on a stairway to heaven
Me and the children and mama make seven
My senses take over as we start to float
Higher and higher on a huge starbound boat
Forward ever ascending, our head in the clouds
I watch as the dolphins tear off all their shrouds
Your head is a halo, it catches the light
As i enter the gates what a glorious sight
Over and over and over and over, over and over and over we go
Over and over and over and over
Higher and higher and higher and higher
Higher and higher on a big black starliner

Walking Higher
I carry you with me,
A ghost inside
And in these shattered arms,
Youre still alive.
I carry you with me,
A holy shrine
And dogs and angels follow
Right behind.
And could I be walking higher,
Could I be right beside her ? .
The bones they buried,
Will feed the trees
But every word you ever spoke,
Is still in me.
And couldi be walking higher,
Could I be right beside her ? .
And I will feel for you in the music,
And I will send that river home.
And I will cry for you sometimes,
When the night is down.
And I raise my head up to the mountains,
Talk to the birds and I fly,
cause the spirit lives on,
When the body dies.
And could I be walking higher,
Could I be right beside her?
Could I be walking higher,
Could I be right beside her?

Philosophy aims at the logical clarification of thoughts. Philosophy is not a body of doctrine but an activity. A philosophical work consists essentially of elucidations. Philosophy does not result in "philosophical propositions", but rather in the clarification of propositions. Without philosophy thoughts are, as it were, cloudy and indistinct: its task is to make them clear and to give them sharp boundaries.

Speed Your Love To Me
I couldnt sleep a wink last night
Id love to hold on
Love to see the fires in motion
Love to feel a free world turn tonight
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love to me
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love to me
She would like to make a wish
Twenty fourth cannot be this
He moved at the speed of light
Through the day and through the night
Fire from the flame of youth
Fire
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love to me
Just my imagination, just my imagination
You go to my head, you go to my head
With the flames that go higher and higher
And higher and higher and higher and higher
Over and over to me, speeds your love
I couldnt sleep a wink last night
Id love to hold on
Love to see the fires in motion
Id love to feel a free world turn tonight
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love to me
Just my imagination, just my imagination
You go to my head, you go to my head
With the flames that go higher and higher
And higher and higher and higher and higher
Over and over to me, speeds your love
Run till we come, until we be
Speed your love
You go to my head, you go to my head
You go to my head, over me.
Higher and higher, higher and higher
All across to me
