The Sands Of Time

From the beginning of this own world,
man has shed a million tears.
Tears for the pain they've had
in their lives and for all the
wasted years.
But the saddest tears that
ever fell, fell not from
just any man's eyes. But
they were shed by my Savior
and they stained The Sands Of Time.
And as the Father looked upon His
Son, He had to turn His face away.
And as Jesus hung upon that cross,
He gave His all for us that day.
And as the tears ran down His face,
as He cried, mixed with the blood
that flowed from His side. Oh what
a sacrifice of love and it stained
The Sands Of Time.
Oh yes it stained The Sands Of Time.
It stained The Sands Of Time.
The blood that was shed for a lost
and dying world, oh yes it stained
The Sands Of Time, of time.

Blood Stained

Atrocities
Made every day
Religiously
Their sins
They hide
Can never disguise
Blood stained hands
Blood stained times
Blood stained deeds
Blood stained lies
They wage their wars
Such profiteers
Will nail us all
Their crimes
Concealed
Despicably reveal
Blood stained hands
Blood stained times
Blood stained weapons
Blood stained lies
They fire at will
Intent to kill
They have no conscience
They have no conscience
Ethnic cleansing nothing more!
Blood of nations blood of war
Turn blind eyes
From all your crimes
You bare our souls
Show no remorse
You cannot wash
The bloodstains off
They turn their backs
While others
Commit grisly acts
Were scared
For life
By politicians greedy
Blood stained hands
Blood stained times
Blood stained weapons
Blood stained crimes
Blood stained lands
Blood stained minds
Blood stained deeds
Blood stained lies
And while such predators
Stalk this earth
Disguised as saints
They kill our faith
Obsessed by greed
Lying through their teeth
They cannot wash
The blood stains off

Blood stained top

My blood stained top lies on the floor.
Coved in crimson red.
From the bursting seems of my skin.
The blood did pour.
Going all over my top.
As the blood seeps in to my top.
It has made it blood stained.
Like blood tears.

My life remains in tatters.
Like my top I cut to bits.
My skin is sliced to ribbons.
And the blood is oozing,
down my top
Making it blood stained

See the top in the morning.
A memento of the night before.
It won't stop me.
For I'll have to do it again

Red Stained the Earth

When white clouds filled the land
Red stained the earth
Thunder roared and lightning struck
Red stained the earth
Darkness devoured the soul
Red stained the earth
Smoke choked the air
Red stained the earth

Cries were loud but never heard
Red stained the earth
Words misunderstood
Red stained the earth
A compromise was in vain
Red stained the earth
Land was stripped of its beauty
Red stained the earth

Raped of dignity, honor and trust
Red stained the earth
Language lost, stories untold
Red stained the earth
No more tradition, no more culture
Red stained the earth
When white clouds filled the land
Red stained the earth

The Sands Of Time

The trickling of sand has started now
for the moments we shall share.
There will not be enough time for us,
not enough time to spare.

Let's turn the hourglass over and over
so our time cannot run out.
For our love, my sweet is all that counts.
It's all I think about.

The sands of time one by one
are traveling much too fast.
How can we slow them down, my dear?
How can we make them last?

Yours is the heart that beats my life,
one beat at a time.
Yours is the mind that connects with me
one thought at a time.

And as we travel through our lives
those grainy sands still fall,
making me want to hang on tight
and stop them once and for all.

But life is movement and must go on
so take my hand and stay
close by my side through all our moments
as the sands of time fall away.

Red Tears

The blood screams
for you to stop,
it trickles down,
then it drops.
The blood stained tears
don't make a sound
even as they hit the ground.....
The blood stained tears
they fall and fall,
until I am
nothing at all

Wasted Tears

At the height of my hysteria
While I was yet again choking on my tears

I realized just how many tears
I've shed for all of you
Over the years

Wasted is how I view them
Because wasted is what they are

And each tear plummeted down my face
It left behind a never fading scar

My precious tears none of you deserved
And the satisfaction of knowing I've shed then
Is what you've gained

But none of you care in the least
That shedding those tears
cruelly caused me so much pain

So I dry my eyes for the last time
And I hope you enjoyed that last show

Because I'm done wasting my tears on you
And am lettting you-
And all of the misery
Go

A World Yet Saved

When | you look at me...
...here's what I see:

a world without hate,
a world without fear,
a world without hunger and sickness and sin.
a world full of love,
a world full of cheer,
a world full of plenty and healing and joy.

When | God looks at us...
...here's what He sees:

a world stained with bad,
a world stained with wrong,
a world stained with blood debt of many a man.
a world filled with filth,
a world filled with soot,
yet a world saved by naught but the blood of Jesus.

It's Time

It's time to let go
It's time to set you free
It's time to go on alone
With my life again.

It's time to shed tears
It's time to pour sweats
It's time to sacrifice
For the love I've lost in the way.

It's time to face the future
It's time for a brand new beginning
It's time for a big break
For me to be whole again.

The Sacred Sacrifice

Jerusalem, what could you see
When Jesus met His end?
For things were borne of secrecy
On that we can depend...
Tortured teacher, ripped Rabboni,
Lamentful Lamb of God,
God's Son who died for you, for me,
Who shed His own life's blood...

Love beaten, scourged and crucified,
Submitting to control,
The Sinner's Friend was He who died
To save each tainted soul...
No easy task, one heart to bear,
Yet Jesus paid the price,
Upon the Cross of Christ in prayer,
His sacred sacrifice...

And not enough till all was done,
Each prophecy fulfilled,
Such that we know Christ was God's son
When all had been revealed...
Thus Mary wept amid the crowd
When Christ was taken down,
Her righteous tears fell on His shroud
Still blood-stained from His crown...

His body lifted, borne away,
Amid the gruesome gloom,
Light of the world at end of day
Lay resting in His tomb...
No more the touring teacher known
To travel to and fro,
He humbly lay there all alone,
Apart from friend or foe...

But we know now, Lord Jesus lives,
To fight the good fight still
And that through Him our God forgives,
If we but do His will...
And this is why forgiveness spreads
Across both time and space,
For every time we bow our heads,
God sees our Saviour's face...

Both Home And Grace...

are we running out of time?
the sands in the houglass
stained by blood, and want...
whose face on the milk carton?
whose footprints in the alley?
whose tongue turns the nut?
whose breath stagnant with hurt?
we write our stories in lifetimes,
lived, or burned...
the fire itself dim with age.
is love then destiny, a curse,
or a storm?
doth the night ever end?
and the unknown ship
sailing unknown waters,
carries the scent
of both home and grace!

Eating A Bullet

Speaking to ghosts
Sitting next to the soldiers of the past.
Where did we go so wrong?
Why is it taking so long?
A new discovery.
A new dream.
Building something not as dull as it seems.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

Speaking to the ones I love most.
Telling them I did the best I could.
Knowing that it no longer even matters.
I'm of the wrong time and age.
A hippie at heart.
Loving the world as its being torn apart
Divide and conquer.
That is what I see today.
Playing all their silly games.
I will not par take.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

I want to take in all your pain.
I want to take in all your hate.
I want to take in all your anger.
Just let me eat all this suffering in one gulp.
Swallow it all down.
Hold it deep inside.
And just maybe I can make it to the other side.
A place where I can rest my head
Without worrying about all of you.
And what you must be going through.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

The after life must be nice.
But at what price.
Will my helping hand ever suffice.
Everybody wants something and nobody is willing to give up anything.
So take it from me.
Give me the lashings.
Make me wear the crown of thorns.
Inflict every evil known to man.
Just leave them alone.
Let me be the victim of your ignorance.
Hate me because I want you to.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

I will never stand for it.
I will jump in the middle every time.
Not to pick sides.
But to lye defenseless for someone else.
Me before the child.
Me before the mother.
Me before the father.
A savior of none, but a victim from it all.
My daily life will not be measured by thing I did for myself.
But instead what I did for you.
Not because you asked.
I don't care if its what you wanted.
A forced sacrifice.
Solid as a block of ice.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

I'm sorry just run.
I take the brunt of it.
Its not my fault but I don't even care.
Sometimes you have to do things out of love.
Even if it means I will die.
It's not even my fight.
That's why I will just be another punching bag.
As the lights dim.
I know soon my life will end.

I wrote it all down in a letter.
Sent it in a red envelope.
That has been stained by these hands.
To quick to the conclusion.
Where did the time go.

Sands Of Time

It was a time gone by
a time with no goodbye
but I left you
in the sand and the wind

You gave me your hand
but I couldn't hold on
you was taken
by the winds of time

Sands of time
blowing in the wind
when will they come for me
when will they come for me

I see your soul
dancing in the sands of time
I hold out my hand
but I just feel the sand and the wind
god forgive me

I can't go on
living in a world I don't belong
see my soul flying in the night
I will find you
no matter how long
I will find you

Sands of time
blowing in the wind
when will they come for me
when will they come for me

Broken Memories

A soft wind blows
Over the sands of yesterday.
Memories of the past
Make their stand today.
Now their hearts sing...

The moon will shine
And they'll all lose heart.
And the hero falls
As the world tears itself apart.

Teardrops of blood
Fall from the sky.
As the hero's words
Float silently on by.

Their hearts are crushed.
Their bones are shattered,
Their souls are lost forever.

The moon will shine
And they'll all lose heart.
And the hero falls
As the world tears itself apart.

Friends come and go
As time fades away.
Blood turns to dust
As night turns to day.
My time will come.
My fate is sealed.
I need to face that this is real.

The moon will shine
And they'll all lose heart.
And the hero falls
As the world tears itself apart.
And the hero falls
As the world tears itself apart.

The State Of Non-meaning

so many sands
long term plans
so many grains of sands
on the beach on the mind of man
oh, i guess
so many poems composed
each poem has become a grain of sands
so many grains
from my mouth
to my hands to my feet to the beach to the sands of time
in search for meaning
when actually there is none.

From the biography of an unknown woman: IV

Her tears're never understood
But they're her closest companions
She's mostly seen around the sea
The sands and the sea sheltering
Her visible and invisible tears
High tide and low tide she watches
And quicklu sums up that
That's all life is all about
Sometimes she searches
The sands and the sea
If she could retrieve her tears
And if someone caught her tears
She would simply smile and say
'O, it's those sand particles, you see...'

Tears Of Blood

On every battlefield,
the ground is stained with tears of blood.
The cruelty of war holds no bounds.
Men and boys fight together
and against each other.
Theirs deaths are just numbers
on someone’s statistics chart.
Their names are quickly forgotten
except by their loved ones.
Their bodies rot where they fell
in the no man’s land on a battlefield.
No one can make sense of the useless slaughter
by a faceless enemy across the invisible lines.
Lines drawn in the lunacy of a moment
for which hundreds will die for.
The tears of blood will fall like raindrops
from machinegun fire,
and so the crazy war goes on.
Each side losing brave men
to save some politicians face.
There is no glory in death
and wasting tears of blood on some foreign land,
just a waste of good lives.
When will it ever end?

Stained Class

Wild-eyed and tight fisted, Im fused to the bone
I stand contemplating, reacting alone
Impaled with betrayal
The tourniquet turns
Societys creation
Pole-axed out and burnt
Long ago when man was king,
His heart was clean now hes stained class
Time has slashed each untouched thing,
So now hes just a stained class king
Transfixed at deliverance, is this all there is
Faithless continuum, into the abyss
Fierce is my conviction, absolute my belief
I spit at you apathy, and seducer deceit
Long ago when man was king,
His heart was clean now hes stained class
Time has slashed each untouched thing,
So now hes just a stained class king
Lethal, deadly, hung, drawn and quartered
He slaughtered and faltered and altered the world
But by doing so smashed all his hopes and utopian dreams
Whipping, stripping, peeling the flesh off, relentless and senseless
His lust snapped like vipers whose fangs sank in deep
To infest and decay from the core
Impaled with betrayal, the tourniquet turns
Societys creation, pole-axed out and burnt
Long ago when man was king,
His heart was clean now hes stained class
Time has slashed each untouched thing,
So now hes just a stained class king
Stained class king

Impermanence

like the colored sands of the
Buddhist monks of Mandala
the facts of our lives
that took
us years and years
to establish
after a very careful tapestry
of our own artistic instincts,
soon shall be

gone, mixed, castles and temples
turning into
sand dunes inside our hands

and we swim to the river of time
and there let
all the sands spill back to the water
that does not just flow
but run & run

Moon Face

One day in June, if the facts are known,
or was it that the myths have grown
about you see what lay in the sky on
view to all 'till the day we die.
I mean the message drawn right across,
the purple-face where some alien being
dictated as the correct time and place,
to let us see how strong they were
before the invasion of what we all fear.
But the people laughed, some laughed
and cried because what the saw was a
dog, just like each one's mutt who had
only gone and died. But still the aliens
made a show, of the power of purple
that which makes our minds grow.
Ask any Hindu or Holy Man and watch
how his face set in a stare across the
sands, those sands of time change
and trickle in but he now asks if the
aliens come for blood to spill, thrill
or bend to their dog-brain, dogged will.

Reverse the Sands of Time

If I could reverse the sands of time I wouldn't change anything
If I reverse the hands of time I wouldn't know what my heartbreak bring
Time is the reason why I know how much you mean to me
Time is the reason why my eyes are open wide so now I can see
I wouldn't change time I would learn & embrace what's forthcoming
Time make me evolve it make me grow It keep me always running
Sometime it's forms into the wind & hit me in every direction
Time is a force it's like a hurricane it's a volcano eruption
To reverse the sands of time I wouldn't know the joys of life
The time we share to see our kids grow hold you tight my wife
See the sun rise hold each and wait for its set
To be there sharing the grandchildren we haven't had yet
Regret my life? Would I reverse the sands of time?
Never because those time we share will always be mind
