Tour De France (Arc De Triumphe Remix)
The hell of Northern Paris - Roubaix
The Cote d'Azur and Saint Tropez
The Alps and the Pyrenees
Last stage Champs-Elysees
Galibier and Tourmalet (2 mountains)
Dancing even on the top
Bicycling at high gear
Final sprint at the finish
Flat tire on the paving-stones
The bicycle is repaired quickly
The peloton is regrouped
Comrades and friendship

Champs Elysee (live)

In Paris With You
Don't talk to me of love. I've had an earful
And I get tearful when I've downed a drink or two.
I'm one of your talking wounded.
I'm a hostage. I'm maroonded.
But I'm in Paris with you.
Yes I'm angry at the way I've been bamboozled
And resentful at the mess I've been through.
I admit I'm on the rebound
And I don't care where are we bound.
I'm in Paris with you.
Do you mind if we do not go to the Louvre
If we say sod off to sodding Notre Dame,
If we skip the Champs Elysées
And remain here in this sleazy
Old hotel room
Doing this and that
To what and whom
Learning who you are,
Learning what I am.
Don't talk to me of love. Let's talk of Paris,
The little bit of Paris in our view.
There's that crack across the ceiling
And the hotel walls are peeling
And I'm in Paris with you.
Don't talk to me of love. Let's talk of Paris.
I'm in Paris with the slightest thing you do.
I'm in Paris with your eyes, your mouth,
I'm in Paris with... all points south.
Am I embarrassing you?
I'm in Paris with you.

Being Insensitive
You said to me 'if' I rode my bicycle,
I may or MAY NOT get a flat tire.
Well...
Mister President,
I 'did' get that flat.
And I'd like to know...
What you intend to do about it?
'I understand the gravity of your concern.
I can either take the bicycle back.
Which this administration purchased,
At no cost to you at all.
Or...
You can fix the flat tire yourself,
Creating a minor inconvenience.
To get back and forth from A to B.
Opposed to hitchhiking,
Or taking your time to walk.
Getting both exercise...
And obtaining a more healthier outlook on life.'
But Mister President,
Don't you think your response is a bit insensitive?
'Perhaps you are right.
I should have been more direct,
And called you an imbecile for your attempts...
To accuse and blame me for your recklessness.
Sit down fool.
Now...
That's being insensitive!
Next comment or question? '

God's Yield
In the field
Of God's Yield
You're the One that stood out!
You're not the prettiest
The tallest or the slenderest
Or the most graceful,
But my heart chose you
The way your mirror chose me
I never cared for my dull reflection
For with life's shades I've been darkened
But your light chose me
In this instant of neutrality
Made all the difference in you and me
There is no effort here
Just pure flow!
Love is truly blind
We know not why we love
But when our eyes locked
It's bliss beyond measure
You're the Sun of my moon
I am the Moon of your sun
You're the romance of my love
I am the love of your romance
I cannot exist without your light
My mirror would be a very desolate place
You're my Paris, my Champs-Élysées, my Tour Eiffel
You are the sparkle in my eyes
That lights up my Paris, my Champs-Élysées, and my Tour Eiffel
Let love flow freely
My river opens in the arms of your ocean
The more my Poem will glow
Vive L'amour!

Free Man In Paris
If I had my way, Id walk thru that door and wander
Down the champs elysees
Going from cafe to cabaret
The way I see it, I just cant win it
Everybodys in it for their own game
You cant please them all
Theres always somebody callin you down
And I do my best and I do good business
As a lot of people asking for my time
Theyre trying to get ahead
And try and be a good friend of mine
I was a free man in paris, I was unfettered and alive
There was nobody to call me up for favours
Noones future to decide
You know Id go back there tomorrow
But for the work Im taking on
? ? ? star makin machinery
Behind the popular song
I deal in dreamers and telephone schemers
Lately I wonder what I do it for
If I had my way, Id walk thru that door and wander
Down the champs elysees
Going from cafe to cabaret
Thinkin how I feel when I find
That very good friend of mine

I Love You In Neon Light
I would write I love you
In neon lights
I would have it in marquee
In Las Vegas down town
In the Champs-Elysees of Paris
I will go to Africa
To the Kilimanjaro mountains
And will have sign
I love you on the top
I love you unconditionally
So you know
I will have the sign for you
Every place you go
I will have it
Even if I go to
Tibet or mountain Everest
So I love you
And you remember that
Any place you go

London To Paris
Paris, the city of gaiety
Paris, oh city so bright
Paris, with girls continental
We are crossing the Channel tonight.
Euros we will spend by 'the plenty'
As soon as we step on your shore.
We love pretty girls continental
The shine in their eyes we adore.
We'll reach the top of the 'Eiffel'
Admiring the wonderful sight,
And we'll walk along the Champs Elysees
As we visit the City of Culture tonight.

Une Nuit A Paris
Part one: one night in paris
Bonjour monsieur
Paris really welcomes you
Its the best room in the house
Its forty francs a night, alright.
Its crazy, it isnt worth a centime
Ill take it!
Merci monsieur
Rouged lips in the gaslight
A great view of the hall
Thats the way the croissant crumbles after all
Paris is only one step away
Les girls are out on bail
Tres bien theres love for sale
Oh my cheri, wish you were mine
And Ill show you a wonderful time
For the price of a cheap champagne
Ill show it you once again
One night in paris
Is like a year in any other place
One night in paris
Will wipe the smile off your pretty face
One girl in paris
Is like loving every woman
One night in paris
One night in paris
One night in paris
May be your last!!!
Part two: the same night in paris
Is he gonna buy?
You wanna little culture?
Is he gonna pay?
Maybe monsieur is into photographs, non?
Or is he gonna fall in love
The all american way?
I got a watch wiz a beautiful swiss movement
Is he gonna buy?
Forget the watch, Ill show you a good time!'
Is he gonna pay?
Le connoisseur, want something different?
Or is he gonna fall in love
The all american way?
Oh you know you aint no casanova
You cant even do the bossa nova
Or the tango or the samba!
Though you are so very charming
No you aint no casanova
Is he gonna buy?
Is he gonna pay?
Or is he gonna fall in love
The all american way?
Sometimes I think he will
But then again........................
One night in paris
Is like a year in any other place!
One night in paris
Will wipe the smile off your pretty face!
Try a girl in paris
But try one of mine
Each night in paris
Each night in paris
Each night in paris
Each night in paris
May be your last!!!
Part three: later the same night in paris
Forty-two, quarante-deux
Rue de saint jacques
All our girls are how you say
Good in the sack
I was a stripper
On the champs elysees
He was a gendarme
In the gendarmerie
Going oh la la la
Oh la la la la
He was a pimp
In a black beret
But he was an artiste
In his own way
Oh la la la
Oh la la la la
When they raided my club that night
They ruined my act with the leather umbrella
The chief de police got a fright
He was up in my boudoir with some other fella
Its only routine
But I got this feeling
It aint good for business
Then the floor cleared
A woman screamed to herself
Henri...though youre not the toast of paris
I love you, although you bed and beat me
Henri, leave it alone,
For the gendarmes just doing his job
Paris is only one step away
Murder is only one step away
Notre dame is ringing her bells
Another gendarme has gone to hell
Notre dame is ringing her bells
Another gendarme has gone to hell
Gone to hell
Gone to hell
One night in paris
Is like a year in any other place
One night in paris
Will wipe the smile off your pretty face
One girl in paris
Is like loving every woman
This night in paris
This night in paris
This night in paris
This night in paris
May be your last!!!

En Paris Ces't Ma Maison
En Paris Ces't Ma Maison
The Paris Skylight
Shines upon your rose room in the early morning.
Portraits of the sea
portraits of Monet and Renoir...serene
boating scenes
You saunter to your full-length mirror
you comb your soft silky hair.
Joy is in your heart...You have found
Paradise.
Your morning walk begins
You pass the Luxemborg Gardens
Le Belle fleur de jardin
A smile glistens off your face
The Arc De Trimphe...The symbol of Liberties de France
The beauty continues
with the Champs Elysees
and the Concorde
In Paris you have found your heart
your love
your home

Paris with Her
What would it be like to go to Paris
on a whim with a woman
who is as mystical and magical
as the city of Love
What would it be like to sit at a Café
drinking our wine eating our cheese on
Avenue des Champs-Elysées but seeing only her
What would it be like to hold her hand
strolling over Pont Neuf to the Eiffel Tower
her hair swirling in the wind, d'issay Miyake
clouding my mind
What would it be like to hide in a corner
of Notre Dame Cathedral
and kiss her passionately her eyes holding mine
what would it be like to make love under a Paris moon
on the green grass of Champ de Mars with the woman I love
It would be Heaven.

Le Paradis Latin
The great Parisian shows!
We were happy

Happiness in change of stages
I went on foot to far away school.
Then I rode on a bicycle with a pride.
Later two-wheeler took me to pedestal.
Now a car. In each stage I was happy.
In each stage the intensity was same.
Every up stage is a happy stage
till it is replaced by the next stage.

Farewell
(r. stewart / m. quittenton)
Fare thee well my brother
Please dont stand in my way
Im going down to that dirty town
No matter what you say
You fooled me and you ruled me
And you played in every part
I gotta go, its no use me stayin home
Goodbye my sister
Please dont let me see you cry
Gonna be a star some day
No matter what they say
And when you hear the crowds
All callin and shouting out my name
Until then, my little friend, Ill be unsatisfied
So long sweet melinda
Dont forget that youre my girl
Gonna dress you fine
And if you give me time
Make you proud like I said I would
And if the champs elysees no fallacy
If I find the world looks like it should
Candy cars, movie stars, street bars
Then I could stay a while
Well I love you
Shall I write or phone from paris or rome
And Ill miss you all
Even tho youre tryin to hold me back
Farewell all my family
Dont you know I mean you so well
Please appreciate I must make a break
Just to see what I can do
The stage is set so understand
I cant hide in the wings no more
Ive got to go now its no use me staying home
All I can say is I love you
Shall I write or phone from paris or rome
And I think Im always gonna miss you
And I love you always
I think Im always gonna miss ya
Even tho youre tryin to hold me back
And I love you and I miss you
If you dont get no mail you know Im in jail
But I love you and I miss you

Vacation 13
I went to Niagara, and saw a giant waterfall
When I was in Paris, I saw a tower that is tall
I was in Muenster Germany, and rode a bike
On Champs-Elysees Avenue, I had quite a hike
I had dinner with Andrea, and paid with my VISA
I went to The Louvre, and saw the Mona Lisa
I took a few trains, and rode a bus all night
I saw a total eclipse, that was OUTTA SIGHT! ! !
I rented a car, and drove to Nice
When I was in Italy, I was flagged down by police
I was driving very fast, without a mishap
My entire time in Italy, I had no map
I saw topless girls, catching a sunbeam
When I was in Venice, I had the BEST ice cream! ! ! !
I LOVED flyin' down the highway, with no traffic jams
I enjoyed a lot of different foods, even spaghetti with clams
The beauty of Slovenija & Austria, brought about bliss
The Alps are also gorgeous, in the land of the Swiss
I put money in the bank, and played with a lock
I saw grass being eaten, by a giant flock
I met a lot of people, and a few friends, I did gain
I used the internet, and tasted Champagne
I saw skaters, and bikers, and people watching the sun
I learned a few things, and had A LOT of fun! !
I saw beauty from man, and from nature, including the Rhein
It was a GREAT trip to Europe, August 1999

There's Always Tomorrow
Top Model, actress and glamour girl
with a lovely smile just like a pearl
walked through Paris quite elegantly
with Scarlett O'Hara propensity.
Admiring glances flew quite freely on
the Avenue of the Champs Elysees.
But her feminine charm soon did wane
and had 'gone with the wind' and the rain.
Droplets fell down her beautiful face
mascara became a frightful disgrace;
those brunette locks were straggly
and wet - not one sweet glance
did she beget. Oh what humility
descended that morn on Scarlet O'Hara
lost and forlorn. But a voice from within
said secretly 'There's always tomorrow'
.......... 'fiddle-de-dee'..........

A Talent-Competition
Hotel des Lices St. Tropez
poolside on the evening of a languid day
hot and sweet and cloying St. Tropez
the girl from Ecuador
one of the final four
realized she'd lost her way
a seagull
the hotel-dog
and a chromium-plated bar-stool
comprised the other three
and we
reclining on brown and pink cushions
flushed with vin rose
were disinclined to pander to the obvious
gave first prize to the bar-stool
for the way he stood
elegante
and detache

Paris in Spring
The city's all a-shining
Beneath a fickle sun,
A gay young wind's a-blowing,
The little shower is done.
But the rain-drops still are clinging
And falling one by one --
Oh it's Paris, it's Paris,
And spring-time has begun.
I know the Bois is twinkling
In a sort of hazy sheen,
And down the Champs the gray old arch
Stands cold and still between.
But the walk is flecked with sunlight
Where the great acacias lean,
Oh it's Paris, it's Paris,
And the leaves are growing green.
The sun's gone in, the sparkle's dead,
There falls a dash of rain,
But who would care when such an air
Comes blowing up the Seine?
And still Ninette sits sewing
Beside her window-pane,
When it's Paris, it's Paris,
And spring-time's come again.

Dans Paris
The beauty of a city
the breathtaking
awe-inspiring
captivating
somewhat magical Parisian charm
Paris captures the hearts of those who step into its glossy boutiques and cafes
Just as a beautiful and sensuous seductress ensnares her defenceless prey
The star-studded Eiffel Tower in all its glory
shining like a beacon of fire across the Parisian night sky
Taking a walk along the breezy boulevard of the Champs Elysees
The romantic artists painting their subjects on Montmartres's quaint streets and alleys
The sun sets over the Seine and the City of Lights comes to life
