Bladesmith Alchemy

He toils over fire fueled by coke
Forging a fine Damascus blade
Coaxes, cajoles, at last invokes
A sacred fire totem…unafraid

The Bladesmith knows;

Salamanders can pass thru fire
Unburnt/unharmed by such heat
A tempered blade its one desire
Lest, this fine sword be incomplete

Thru blade salamander does pass
Pursued by fiery flames from hell
Thru blinding smoke of sulfur gas
Mission done, he bids “farewell”

Revealed here the secret of 'Damascus Steel'
Perfected by one tiny amphibian's ordeal

Passion of Fire

My heart was started by a spark,
burst into flames.
Now I am like a lamp on a hill,
everyone sees me and my passion.
I'm on fire, I'm burning bright.

You made the spark,
kindled the flame,
gave this fire the passion of the night.
Its burning bright, through the night,
its never going out or dimming.

Its the passion of the fire,
its the passion of life.
The life you gave,
was meant to amaze.
Now with you in me,
I illuminate the darkness.

I'm on fire,
running with the flame, the passion
touching people,

The Dagger

I like you well, O trusty dagger mine,
My comrade wrought of cool Damascus steel!
Forged were you by the Georgian with revenge in the mind,
By the Circassian free - for war were you made keen.

A lily-white hand it was gave you to me -
You were affection's keepsake, its last gift...
Not blood, but pearl-like tears born of the agony
Of bitter parting down your blade ran swift.

Her dark eyes rested, full of secret pain,

Dragon In My Soul

Fire,
It burns in all of us,
It burns deep in my soul,

I fell it when I'm told no,

Flame brakes,

The Door’s Whispers

There was whispering at the door,
Except for the sigh, and the occult.
In front of us tore a blade through the crack,
Concealing the body behind it.

The door is an open object mostly,
But it concerned me with futility;
We had to reject the conspiracy theory
And relate to the stories of ancient weapons.

When we tore the blade away with our swords
The daggers started to spread around the walls;
The walls started to endanger our lives
And we wanted to squirm free.

There was a squeal and a torturous time ahead,
And every day we would count our blessings.
This time luck’s authority proclaimed itself present,
Exclaiming our magic, exclaiming the heroic nature.

The blade suddenly vanished and fire caught us,
The body behind was the fire, and we were caught;
The body was in danger, the body was in danger!
Yet we escaped, and we learnt this way.

The door remained shut, tasted our lives
And the corridors were the getaway,
Away, away, away we ran, faster than blades,
And more so, more so and more so.
