Angles In The Snow
When december comes
Then we'll take the kids to mama's
They can make snow angels in the yard
Like a christmas card
We'll decorate the tree
Put an angel high above us
Like we always do
At christmas
On and on it goes
Every year new memories to share
And for all we know
We will all of us be there

I was born in December,
too cold to remember.
Every year I'm reminded
of being born in December.

Christmas with you...
It’s Christmas again
Some weeks before the 25th of December,
Lots of people
Crowds everywhere
Rushing and pushing and shoving,
Going nowhere,
But I can still see you in jewellery shops,
Buying my favourite jewelleries…
And on Christmas day,
The golden warmth of your love for me,
Responding to the sunshine
Makes my Christmas special.
The air is magic
On Christmas morning
And you are here to cuddle me from the cold!
Each year we grow up,
The more we get attracted by each other
And the more love surprises us!
We still are the same,
We still think of Santa,

Cold december nights like this make me really scared
Youre not really there
And my tree is really bare
Another lonely night
No gifts, no toys underneath my tree

Its freezing ice chills out there

A Christmas tree with jingling bells

A shining silver star hung on top

Solstice
This year,21 December is the crucial day:
Earth, Sun, in their ancient dance.
Do they need our help?
The day, here in the North, shrinking;
what should be, if any, our concern?
Offer up our Christmas gifts
to beg exchange for longer days?
Hold vigil at Stonehenge,
believing that all our being,
all our attention, is what we owe,
to earn a daylight that
may not continue on the morrow
to shrink to eternal darkness?
Feel so small, as we contemplate
The mysteries of the universe?
Feel so great, as we participate
in so vast a system?
Or just, a private moment’s awe,
then back to Christmas obligations?
How quick we’ll be, though,
to note the day’s few bonus minutes
in a week or two – post-Christmas gift
that was delayed in some almighty post;
secretly, we’re sure that we deserve it;
yet, a lifting of the heart, while we forget
December’s heaviness.
