One month Anniversary (1)
In months time
Time flew by
So fast, so quick
So many memories already
From first kiss in the Drive way
To First date at TGI's
To my first photo booth pictures
To Caving at Devils den
To already having many developed pictures
To being with a great person for one months time
Memories fly, but time is cherished
Having these memories with you means everything
Knowing you're there to tell me Morning

Everything we do makes me smile

Look at me, eighteen and tanned,
Behind the wheel of my old van,
"Hotel California" turned up loud,
No air-conditioning, windows down.
Look at you smilin' at me,
Don't know when I've been as happy,
As that weekend out in Joshua Tree,
When I got down on my knees.
An' I like lookin' at old photographs.
Reminds me of the way we've always made each other laugh.
Pictures of a life we've made together.
Memories of a love that just gets better with time.
So many good times,
There's no way I will forget.
They've got me thinkin' 'bout pictures,
We haven't taken yet.
Next year let's go to Disneyworld,
Can't wait to see our little girl,
Hold hands with Mickey Mouse,
Chocolate ice-cream on her mouth.

With that pasty white look:

Upon the Wall
The first picture is an old black and white of a young couple just started out their life. If you look close you can see all the hope in their eyes.
Next to that hangs a color picture of the same couple a few years older and a baby has been added to the picture, what joy upon their faces.
Now, the next picture is about seven years after that the couples hair has turned slightly grey and the child has grown, but their look of joy has turned to worry I wonder what problem has arose.
Now the next one is the once young child standing proudly in an arm forces' uniform ready to serve his nation.
Then there's the next picture it is a coffin with a flag draped upon it, and the old couple now standing and crying beside it.
I can only imagine that their child now lies in that coffin.
The final picture is similar to first except instead of black and white this has color, and instead of hope the old couple eyes are filled with despair from the harshness of life, and all they have left is the pictures upon the wall.

Never Give Up On Hope
Never give up on hope never give up who knows what tomorrow will bring
Keep on hoping for a happier future for hope is a marvellous thing
Lady luck she may smile on you good things come to those who wait
Who knows in the not distant future you may have cause to celebrate
A first division win in tattslotto or some other unexpected windfall
Life does have it's good and it's hard times and it's good and bad memories to recall
Never give up on hope always keep on hoping your good times for you may be ahead
You cannot hold much hope for the future if hope in you is all but dead
If you succumb to feelings of negativity the universe out there you do tell
That you are happy with the hard life and you accept an earthly hell
Never give up on hope for hope springs eternal the quitter cannot hope to succeed
But if hope in you is ever present it will serve you in your time of need
So never give up on hope tomorrow well may be better and the good times for you may be ahead

I watched you
walking in front of me
up the stairs of my youth

Life In Minutes
Opening the book I see my first
pictures of my life. Though I dont
remember I see the expression of
importance and happiness on my
parents face. I turn the page to
see myself crawling and attempting
to walk across the floor. There is
even one where I have fallen and
I can see the determination in my
eyes that Ill try again. Turning
the page I see some of my first
memories as I am running toward
my mom who has the camera in the
one of the pics. Another of my second
birthday with my smile and enjoyment
of the new toys that I most certainly
wanted. As I continue to turn the pages
and see my life unfold before my eyes as
if I was living each moment over
again. Finally we approach my high
school years where I see old friends
that have come and gone. The memories
of my first love as we embrace one
another in several pictures from
football games all the way to senior
prom and even graduation. I relive
our first kiss the school parking lot
after a football game to our last
kiss just a few years later where
our paths seperated. Now I point
and laugh at all the pictures of
birthdays and family events even fun
times with friends. Hard to believe
but my entire life that has taken me
years to live but only minutes to
relive it all.

Expressive Urge
Intrinsically human
is the expressive urge;
to make the temporal timeless
to find rainbows
hidden behind water hanging in the sky.
it is our most vibrant link
with immortality, the cosmic communication
conversing with all creation
along the way upon a dirt road
that has no end.
to discover small lakes
lost in the deep woods of our souls
and trying to explain the way it feels
to see it for the first time.
to understand the trees
have memories, and
the memories are mine.
to realize the liquid moon
glowing in the river is the rain
that fell through the light
on it's way to earth.
to comprehend the reflection in the mirror
