I Am Your Gun
Blew my smoke on a sunny day
When the first black powder came my way.
Hot lead ball from a muzzle cold
To win fair lady and take your gold.
I know it hardly seems the time
(I am your gun.)
To talk of blue steel so sublime.
(I am your gun.)
I can understand your point of view.
(I am your gun.)
To tell the truth I'd scare me too.
Match wheel and flintlock; they all caught your eye;
Pearl-handled ladies' model, scaled down to size.
I am the peacemaker, so the theory goes
But I don't choose the company I keep, and it shows.
(I am your gun.)
(Drop me, I'm your gun.)
Maxim and Browning, they helped me along.
[???] thrill to my song.
Now one of me exists for each of you,
So how can you blame me for the things that I do?
Now I take second place to the motor car
(I am your gun.)
In the score of killing kept thus far.
(I am your gun.)
Just remember if you don't mind:
(I am your gun.)
It's not the gun that kills, but the man behind.
(I am your gun.)
(I am your gun.)
(I am your gun.)
(I am your gun

Point Of View
There is no right
There is no wrong
Tis all but a matter
Of point of view
No heavenly might
Nor demon strong
Whatever you'd rather
Believe…is truth to you
A lie to one is
Truth to another
What's seen, is what
One wants to view
For a razor edged line
Exists between love and hate
A paper thin partition between
Cold black, and cobalt blue
What's right, what's fair
What's here, what's there
What's love, what's lust
What's treachery, what's trust
What it tis in finality, that
Shapes for you reality
And is what makes
all things true to you
Sadly tis…
Not crimes of passion (or treason)
Nor kind acts of compassion (or reason)
But simply put and sadly true
It's one's own point of view

Peacemaker Die
Peacemaker die,
Mr. righteous one
You say you have this plan?
If we care to understand
Peacemaker die,
Mr. nice guy
You dare to speak the truth?
Ill twist and turn it into lies
Blessed are the warmongers,
Blessed are the warmongers
For they shall be called,
Man-made gods
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
I dont know why?
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
Peacemaker die,
I dont know why?
Peacemaker die,
Mr. goody two
Do you really thing the world
Can be black, white, and jew?
Peacemaker die,
Mr. music man
Dont turn your back on me?
Cause Im the one with the gun
Blessed are the warmongers,
Blessed are the warmongers,
For they shall be called,
Sons of god
I have a dream this afternoon,
That the brotherhood of man,
Will become a reality
In this day, with this faith,
I will go out and,
Carve the tunnel of hope,
Through the mountain of despair
With this faith,
I will go out with you and,
Transform dark yesterdays
Into bright tomorrows
With this faith,
We will be able to achieve
This new day
When all of gods children,
Black men and white men,
Jews and gentiles,
Protestants and catholics
Will be able to join hands
And sing with the negroes,
In the spiritual of old
Free at last, free at last,
Thank God almighty,
Were free at last.

Mad At God
A lot of people say that if God loves this world
Why this world is hurting this world
Children are dieing from hunger
Innocent people are getting kill
How can God allow this
You have a free choice do good or evil
What choices are you making
If you choose to do mischievous things
Then how can you blame God for the mess you're in
For those of you who are mad at God
Before you point a finger at him
Examine yourself examine your choices
It's up to you to choose what's righteous
Do you want God to kill us
For God to kill evil he has to kill us
We have all thought of evil things
For God to kill evil he has to kill us
Instead of killing us he choose to send his son
Jesus died for our sin own the cross
Give you life to Jesus let his spirit lead you
And you will desire righteousness
I used to blame God for this
I used to blame God for that
But what's the point I have a free choice
Thank you Jesus for your grace and mercy
Instead of condemning you choose to give me understanding
Now I understand the power of free will
Jesus I give you my will

Enoughs Enough
So early in the morning
Its the same now every day
Sign your name and number
Cutting from the ball and chain
Never letting go when
The weight was so deceiving
Treading on a turning wheel
Machinery is screaming
Shoulder to the stone again
Praying for the evening
Hiding as the fist hits steel
Chorus:
Enoughs enough
Its eye to eye
Enoughs enough
We cry
Enoughs enough
Of smoke and steel
Enoughs enough
Of turning this wheel
Looking at his picture
Steel did turn the skin to bone
Father I remember
The hands that had to break the stone

Lead Me On
Shoulder to the wheel
For someone elses selfish gain
Here there is no choosing
Working the clay
Wearing their anger like a ball and chain.
Fire in the field
Underneath a blazing sun
But soon the sun was faded
And freedom was a song
I heard them singing when the day was done
Singing to the holy one.
Lead me on
Lead me on
To a place where the river runs
Into your keeping, oh.
Lead me on
Lead me on
The awaited deliverance
Comforts the seeking...lead on.
Waiting for the train
Labelled with a golden star
Heavy hearted boarding
Whispers in the dark
Where are we going--is it very far?
Bitter cold terrain
Echoes of a slamming door
In chambers made for sleeping, forever
Voices like thunder in a mighty roar
Cry to the lord.
Lead me on
Lead me on
To a place where the river runs
Into your keeping, oh.
Lead me on
Lead me on
The awaited deliverance
Comforts the seeking...lead on.
Man hurts man
Time and time, time again
And we drown in the wake of our power
Somebody tell me why.
Lead me on
Lead me on
To a place where the river runs
Into your keeping, oh.
Lead me on
Lead me on
The awaited deliverance
Comforts the seeking...lead on.
Lead me on
Lead me on
To a place where the river runs
Into your keeping, oh.
Lead me on
Lead me on
The awaited deliverance
Comforts the seeking...lead on.

The Vaudois Teacher
'O Lady fair, these silks of mine
are beautiful and rare,-
The richest web of the Indian loom, which beauty's
queen might wear;
And my pearls are pure as thy own fair neck, with whose
radiant light they vie;
I have brought them with me a weary way,-will my
gentle lady buy?'
The lady smiled on the worn old man through the
dark and clustering curls
Which veiled her brow, as she bent to view his
silks and glittering pearls;
And she placed their price in the old man's hand
and lightly turned away,
But she paused at the wanderer's earnest call,-
'My gentle lady, stay!
'O lady fair, I have yet a gem which a purer
lustre flings,
Than the diamond flash of the jewelled crown on
the lofty brow of kings;
A wonderful pearl of exceeding price, whose virtue
shall not decay,
Whose light shall be as a spell to thee and a
blessing on thy way!'
The lady glanced at the mirroring steel where her
form of grace was seen,
Where her eye shone clear, and her dark locks
waved their clasping pearls between;
'Bring forth thy pearl of exceeding worth, thou
traveller gray and old,
And name the price of thy precious gem, and my
page shall count thy gold.'
The cloud went off from the pilgrim's brow, as a
small and meagre book,
Unchased with gold or gem of cost, from his
folding robe he took!
'Here, lady fair, is the pearl of price, may it prove
as such to thee
Nay, keep thy gold-I ask it not, for the word of
God is free!'
The hoary traveller went his way, but the gift he
left behind
Hath had its pure and perfect work on that high-
born maiden's mind,
And she hath turned from the pride of sin to the
lowliness of truth,
And given her human heart to God in its beautiful
hour of youth
And she hath left the gray old halls, where an evil
faith had power,
The courtly knights of her father's train, and the
maidens of her bower;
And she hath gone to the Vaudois vales by lordly
feet untrod,
Where the poor and needy of earth are rich in the
perfect love of God!

Ladies! Ladies!
The male steel is in your world
Private and otherwise...
Once at the tender age
The male steel to you was like sage
A strong big pleasant scent, so plesant in fact
As that young woman you just had to re-act.
And from that day forth was a new road,
A new idea and a new feeling.
Yes! steel for the will...
The 'man trap' and woman's thrill.
Roll-Back the tape...
A woman has that which infatuates, intimidates and in most cases
still carry horns...
She has been name a pollard now and as men we know
There are no horns? ? ? ? ? or don't we?
So why do we show so much fear...
When the horn-less is near?
Speaking for me and me only....
I fear regulation and control of an affair
Out of thin air...
Speak of being 'shang-hai-ed'...That female gold mine
She will take you a trip through time...
Everytime and back again.
You need not ask how, why or when
Once you are in your adventure begins...
So my young brotheren be wise
Very wise when it comes to 'The Queen and her thighs'
Remember Adam always....you can't blame someone for what you
Truly know to be fact....and Adam knew for a fact...
Where that rule was at...
Yes! Eve's thighs to apply...and poor Adam could not deny.

Motor Of Love
I Can't Get Over Your Love
No Matter How Hard Life Seems,
There's A Light In My Dreams
Thanks To You.
My Friends Keep Asking Me Why
There's Such A Smile On My Face,
There's A Home At My Place,
Thanks To You.
I Don't Want Anything From You,
Turn On Your Motor Of Love.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.
I Can't Get Over Your Love
No Matter How Lost I Feel,
I Know My Love Is Real,
Thanks To You.
You Simply Reached Out Your Hand
And Touched Me Deep In My Soul,
I Came In Out Of The Cold,
Thanks To You.
I Won't Steal Anything From You,
You Give Me More Than Enough.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.
There Was A Time
When I Was Down And Counted Out,
Well I Remember I Felt So Bad
I Nearly Threw Away,
Nearly Threw Away The Keys.
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
Motor Of Love, Motor Of Love.
Heavenly Father Look Down From Above,
I Can't Get Over Your Powerful
Motor Of Love.

I cant get over your love
No matter how hard life seems,
Theres a light in my dreams
Thanks to you.
My friends keep asking me why
Theres such a smile on my face,
Theres a home at my place,
Thanks to you.
I dont want anything from you,
Turn on your motor of love.
Motor of love, motor of love.
Heavenly father look down from above,
I cant get over your powerful
Motor of love.
I cant get over your love
No matter how lost I feel,
I know my love is real,
Thanks to you.
You simply reached out your hand
And touched me deep in my soul,
I came in out of the cold,
Thanks to you.
I wont steal anything from you,
You give me more than enough.
Motor of love, motor of love.
Heavenly father look down from above,
I cant get over your powerful
Motor of love.
There was a time
When I was down and counted out,
Well I remember I felt so bad
I nearly threw away,
Nearly threw away the keys.

Who Invented The Wheel
I wanna know, who invented the wheel.
Tell me who discovered steel.
It was the wheel and the steel that caused this pain,
That made the car that took him away.
I wanna know, who invented the wheel.
I wanna know, who found the rock.
Tell me who made the black top.
It was the rock and the black top that caused this pain,
And made the road for the car, that took him away.
Chorus:
Somebody give me a name.
Cause I just need someone to blame.
For all of this heartache,
And pain I've been feelin' since he had to go,
I wanna know.
I wanna know who invented the time.
Out in this spand when he was mine.
It was all that time I didn't take,
It was the rock and the black top that made the highway,
For the wheel and the steel for the car, that took him away.
Chorus:
Somebody give me a name.
Cause I just need someone to blame.
For all of this heartache,
And pain I've been feelin' since he had to go,
I wanna know.
I wanna know.
I wanna know who invented the wheel.

Am I dying in your Silence?
Silence is a sure killer
For your silence kills
Kills me slowly and softly
Your silence is like a song
Sung silently but killing me at the same time.
I hear a song in the quiet of the room
and in the still of the air
A song of our love
A song of our life
Every word in it
Has so much meaning and pain
I hear you singing that song
So soulfully, but hurting me at the same.
In silence I bear the pain
As Life goes by
The colorful past seems all over
A new day is born
And a new life has begun
Sometimes I crave to just
A hear a few words from you
But you just seem to ignore me
And pretend like I was not there
Like a few drops of water
that quench my thirst
So do I miss a few words from you.
Yes, I miss you
For your silence is killing
And I am waiting
For a few words
To show me a sunny day
Or even a rainbow in the sky.

Red Roses
Tommy is three and when he's bad
his mother dances with him.
She puts on the record,
'Red Roses for a Blue Lady'
and throws him across the room.
Mind you,
she never laid a hand on him.
He gets red roses in different places,
the head, that time he was as sleepy as a river,
the back, that time he was a broken scarecrow,
the arm like a diamond had bitten it,
the leg, twisted like a licorice stick,
all the dance they did together,
Blue Lady and Tommy.
You fell, she said, just remember you fell.
I fell, is all he told the doctors
in the big hospital. A nice lady came
and asked him questions but because
he didn't want to be sent away he said, I fell.
He never said anything else although he could talk fine.
He never told about the music
or how she'd sing and shout
holding him up and throwing him.
He pretends he is her ball.
He tries to fold up and bounce
but he squashes like fruit.
For he loves Blue Lady and the spots
of red roses he gives her

Some Sin For Nuthin
Heroes, hard to find
Dont make the news till they do time
Schemers turn the screw
They get the word and they drop on you
Lay down the law black of the night
Run up a score, the vice is right
Dealers looking round, wheel is turning round
Coming round on you
Chorus:
Some sin for gold
Some sin for shame
Some sin for cash
Some sin for gain
Some sin for wine
Some sin for pain
But I aint gonna be the fool
Whos gonna have to sin for nothing
(now work that out)
Nero, evil mind
He was born way before his time
Lead em down below
You got it right and away you go
You gotta lay down the rules, push up the price
Turn on the heat, put you on ice
Dealers looking round, wheel is turning round
Coming round for you
Chorus
(give it to me)
Aint gonna sin for nothing
Dont get nothing for nothing
Aint gonna sin for nothing
That dont make no sense

Golden Moments
Now if all my golden moments
Could be rolled into one
They would shine just like the sun
For a summer day
And after it was over
We could have it back again
With credit to the editor
For striking out the rain (very clean)
And all it really needed
Was the proper point of view
No ones gonna bring me down
No ones gonna stop me now
Now I gathered up my sorrows
And I sold them all for gold
And I gathered up the gold
And I threw it all away
It all went for a good time and a song (come on)
The laughter was like music
It did float my soul along for awhile
And all it really needed was the proper point of view
No ones gonna reach me here
No ones gonna know Im gone
You may think I might be crazy
And I guess you might be right
But I know the way I feel today is out of sight
I do not trust your senses to remember your name
Without corrective lenses
Things are never twice the same anyway
And all it really needed
Was the proper point of view
No ones gonna bring me down
No ones gonna stop me now
No ones gonna reach me here
No ones gonna know Im gone

The Patriots Dream
The songs of the wars are as old as the hills
They cling like the rust on the cold steel that kills
They tell of the boys who went down to the tracks
In a patriotic manner with the cold steel on their backs
The patriots dream is as old as the sky
It lives in the lust of a cold callous lie
Lets drink to the men who got caught by the chill
Of the patriotic fever and the cold steel that kills
The train pulled away on that glorious night
The drummer got drunk and the bugler got tight
While the boys in the back sang a song of good cheer
While riding off to glory in the spring of their years
The patriots dream still lives on today
It makes mothers weep and it makes lovers pray
Lets drink to the men who got caught by the chill
Of the patriotic fever and the cold steel that kills
Well there was a sad, sad lady
Weeping all night long
She received a sad, sad message
From a voice on the telephone
Her children were all sleeping
As she waited out the dawn
How could she tell those children
That their father was shot down
So she took them to her side that day
And she told them one by one
Your father was a good man ten thousand miles from home
He tried to do his duty and it took him straight to hell
He might be in some prison, I hope hes treated well
Well there was a young girl watching in the early afternoon
When she heard the name of someone who said hed be home soon
And she wondered how they got him, but the papers did not tell
There would be no sweet reunion, there would be no wedding bells
So she took herself into her room and she turned the bed sheets down
And she cried into the silken folds of her new wedding gown
He tried to do his duty and it took him straight to hell
He might be in some prison, I hope hes treated well
Well there was an old man sitting in his mansion on the hill
And he thought of his good fortune and the time hed yet o kill
Well he called to his wife one day, come sit with me awhile
Then turning toward the sunset, he smiled a wicked smile
Well Id like to say Im sorry for the sinful deeds Ive done
But let me first remind you, Im a patriotic son
They tried to do their duty and it took em straight to hell
They might be in some prison, I hope theyre treated well
The songs of the wars are as old as the hills
They cling like the rust on the cold steel that kills
They tell of the boys who went down to the tracks
In a patriotic manner with the cold steel on their backs
