Down at the church the flower girl sits. legs innocent, apart.
I make the picture puzzle fit to start your heart.
Painted sister stopped beside. a word upon her saintly lip.
Perhaps admonishing the child inside the open slip.
I dont know where she might go when she runs home at night.
Its for the best: I wouldnt rest when I turned out the light.
No little flower girl singing in my troubled dream----
Just an old mans model in a pose from a magazine.
I have touched that face a dozen times before. and I have let my pencil run.
Laid down washes on a foreign shore, under a hot and foreign sun.
My best sable brushes drift the soft inside of her arm.
Her chin I tilt, her breasts I lift. I mean no harm.
I close the door. she is no more until the next appointed hour.
Northeastern light push back the night: painted promises in store.

I fell in love with the girl in the picture
That I used to keep
Carried her round in the back of my pocket
She was always with me
I imagine that I was a man of importance
And she had a fancy for me
And I use to dream she would call
Crying her eyes out

The first time I we met in an aisle
At the market
She was staring at me

The Girl Inside
the girl inside has a fear,
of what the girl inside holds so dear,
far from reality, but always in dream,
the girl inside is screaming althought it may not seem,
it grows louder and louder everyday,
just wondering why the feeling just wouldnt stay,
the girl inside more then ever wants to run,
just wanting to tell everyone that she is done,

Yesterday we were on a roll, baby, then we end up in a fight.
Everywhere I look, I see problems, where I never seen before.
The cracks in the sidewalk, when I get home my key dont even fit the door.

Perfect 10
Look at you girl you are a perfect 10;
all your curves in the right place.
Smile perfectly fit your face.
and you got brains too.
Girl you are the full package.
Nothing needs to be taking away or added
you are a perfect 10.
Girl just to let you know to me a perfect ten
is not measured in shape or size.
I measure a perfect ten with what a woman has inside.
And if inside you are proud of your own self worth
because that's all that really counts in the end.

I'm the girl who holds this smile,
which is not near the truth,
I'm the girl who sits next to you,
I'm the girl who begs the Lord:
'Free me of thinking it's O.K.
to hide my feelings and emotions.'
I am that girl.

I dream I’m in a Parisian café
With a dark-haired girl
Wearing a yellow skirt revealing
Photographic sensual legs
That would later make me cry
All night in bed still pondering them.
I have so many of these
Intoxicating fantasies,
