Walking Away

Cold winds blow around me,
And I cant help but think of you.
All the things we wanted,
All the things we had to do.
Wrap yourself around me,
We can steal away sometime.
Your whispers surround me,
But its only in my mind.
cuz Im walking away from,
Walking away from things in my own past.

Walking

Walking on a cold frosty morn
Gloves and scarf on me adorn.

Walking in the crisp fresh snow
Making my nose all aglow.

Walking up in the hills
Waterproofs on, to keep out the chills.

Walking down in the dales
Up in the sky see all the contrails.

Walking down along the field
Looking at what it has to yield.

Walking in the summer sun
When the day is nearly done.

Walking down the stony lane
Writing keeps me quite sane.

Walking shoes, boots and feet
All traipsing down the street.

Shoes Without Heels

This love of mine is packed with stepping stone
These shoes are made for walking in reverse
In the dead of night, you tiptoe out and leave me all alone
Putting on your satin slip-ons and your sultry french cologne.
Shes wearing shoes without heels.
Shes walking over the floor.
Shes walking all over me
Weirder therein, you know how it feels
When she walks right out of the door.
Well, I thought that I was bigger than this town
I thought Id spend a pace and go the distance
But she picked me out, she used me up, and then she put me down
Now Im driven til Im crying, or Im dreaming til I drown.
Shes wearing shoes without heels.

Weirder therein, you know how it feels
When she walks right out of the door.
While youre busy packing underwear and other worthless trinkets,
Spare a thought for worthless men who drag on women like theyre
Cigarettes, cause you watch him walk away from you

All the liberty you cherish and you roughly take

One place pretty much like another

It's a long road,

Walking Away With You

He calls me to the darkness.
He tries to put some hardness
In my heart,
Pulling us apart.
He tells me that he needs me,
But lies are all he feeds
Into my life,
Day and night.
When Im losing my sense of direction,
And Im needing some strength and protection,

When I think I cant stand any longer,
