Ausoween
Listen to the victim, abused by the system
The basis is racist, you know that we must face this.
It cant happen here. oh yeah?
Take a look around at the cities and the towns.
See them hunting, creeping, sneaking
Breeding fear and loathing with the lies theyre speaking
The knife, the gun, broken bottle, petrol bomb
There is no future when the past soon come.
And when they come to ethnically cleanse me
Will you speak out? will you defend me?
Or laugh through a glass eye as they rape our lives
Trampled underfoot by the rights on the rise.
Ich bin ein auslander
Welcome to a state where the politics of hate
Shout loud in the crowd watch them beat us all down.
Theres a rising tide on the rivers of blood
But if the answer isnt violence, neither is your silence.
If they come to ethnically cleanse me
Will you speak out? will you defend me?
Freedom of expression doesnt make it alright
Trampled underfoot by the rise of the right.
Ich bin ein auslander

Shout It Out Loud

Do you think youre gonna find it (think youre gonna find it)
You got to treat yourself like number one
Do you need to be reminded (need to be reminded)
It doesnt matter what you do or say
Just forget the things that youve been told
We cant do it any other way
Everybodys got to rock and roll, whoo, oh, oh
Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud
Shout it, shout it, shout it out loud
If you dont feel good, theres a way you could
Dont sit there broken hearted (sit there broken hearted)
Call all your friends in the neighborhood
And get the party started (get the party started)
Dont let em tell you that theres too much noise

To the American people I say, awaken to what is happening. It is the duty of each citizen to be vigilant, to protect liberty, to speak out, left and right and disagree lest be trampled underfoot by misguided zealotry and extreme partisanship.

Freedom Doesnt
freedom doesnt starve it's children,
freedom doesnt sell it's people into slavery.
freedom doesnt see skin color,
doesnt always speak english.
freedom doesnt have one religion.
freedom doesnt choose sexual preference.
freedom doesnt regulate love.
freedom doesnt trade joblessness for profit.
freedom doesnt take your home.
freedom doesnt create reservations, slums,
and low rent trailer parks.
freedom doesnt ban books.
freedom doesnt invade and conquer.
freedom doesnt trade blood for oil.
freedom doesnt imprison those it cannot use.
freedom doesnt live by the lie.
freedom doesnt have different levels of justice,
depending on how much money you have.
freedom doesnt abandon it's elderly.
freedom doesnt turn away the sick.
freedom doesnt kill in the name of god.
freedom doesnt lie about the past.
damn it to hell!
this doesnt smell like freedom!

When We Speak Of Good And Evil
When we speak of good and evil we know not what we say
As we all have those traits in us or to me 'twould seem that way
Our so called honourable leaders who condemn crimes of hate
In truth only condemning what they've helped to create.
More bombings in Indonesia and Iraq and Afghanistan every day
And people dead and many left with horrific injuries does it have to be this way?
Where there is want, exclusion and discrimination only anger and mistrust to be found
And for violence of the extreme sort poverty can be a breeding ground.
When war men dropp their bombs of death on foreign cities it would be far better instead
If they dropped large parcels of food containing rice and milk and meat and bread
The results would be far better we receive what we sow
We cannot expect respect from others if respect to them we do not show.
When we speak of good and evil we only speak of how great we are
For to bomb foreign cities our Government's war planes travel far
And violence breeds more violence or so it would appear
And peace is suffocating in a World ruled by fear.

Before The Storm
Red gates of iron cast their
Black shadows on this land
Dividing souls... far below
The gathering winds the armies watch
Are rising from the west
Foretelling news... of freedoms hand
In secrecy theyve infiltrated
All of our strongholds
Controlling more... year after year
So weve let this happen all along
Believing whats been said
Our leaders cry... we have no one to fear
We watch the sun rise, and hope
We watch the sun rise, and hope
That it wont be our last
Before the storm
Before the storm
Before the storm
Before the storm
Is it late to try, must we all die
Our system awaits testv freedom by choice...
Is it for all men, best
So we wait in fear the atom split
Our hearts in two be torn
Learn from the past... before the storm
We watch the sunrise, and hope
We watch the sunrise, and hope
That it wont be our last

Shalom
water cleanse my feet
as my father weeps
days turn to weeks
with a child left by a creek
answer may he one day seek
in the water my feet i dip
so water cleanse my feet
and in the mids of the beast
let my soul know that am not week
so if a tear runs down my cheek
as gold is splendid like an antique
may the bird song be silenced
so water please cleanse my feet
see me here, see me there
yes i try hear my cries
see me fall, see me rise
as you look in these eyes
the dead tell no lies
so shalom to shalom,
a nod to a nudge
the morning sky see the night sky
so good bye to say hi

Speak Out…
Shout! Speak out against all types of wars.
Reject the referendum, that's a farce, a joke,
A small band-aid on a wound; that's all smoke.
Speak out against the criminal dictators,
Who are bombarding their own blood,
And killing countless babies, children,
Elders, women, and very sick men.
The people need food, neither death nor mud.
Denounce the lies, the crimes and the hypocrisies.
Let the traitors know that the whole universe
Is watching and taking notes of their atrocities.
The world saw the mass graves and witnessed diverse
Other criminal and egregious acts being perpetrated
On the defenseless civilians. The flood
Of blood is everywhere; the miseries,
The hunger, the sufferings and the hatred
Environments touch the ultimate priorities.
The whole world must speak out and shout
In unison: enough is enough, enough is enough.
Stop all violence; stop the pain and the slaughter.
Let's all protest, speak out and be tough.
Let's support, encourage and honor
Friendly nations, who stand for genuine Peace
And stability throughout the five continents,
And specifically in the ever more chaotic Middle East.
Let's stand against countries where corruption, hunger,
Famine, drought and injustice serve as ingredients
Of malediction and endemic terror.
Have no fear; speak out against the evil elements.
Shout! Speak out against religious wars,
Civil wars, ethnic wars, criminal wars
Illegal wars and all categories of wars.
War is hell, war is diabolic, and war is evil.
Never stop speaking out. Let's be civil
For humanity's sake, stop the violence.
Stop, stop bombarding the innocent civilians.
Respect their human rights and their dignity.
Let's speak out and protect Freedom and Liberty.

How Do We Change?
Dear ladies, and gentlemen.
I will not save you or be your business partner.
I am a hateful American when it comes to certain issues.
I am not a trusting at all.
I'm as flawed as the next human being.
These letters you keep sending me will not change me.
The irony is I would love to be humanitarian.
But without the financial backing.
It will never happen.
I must change things with words.
And knowledge that keeps me up at night.
Thinking about the next thing I must do.
And again you tell me story so sad and it is most likely true.
But denied by your government.
For what you speak of is not suppose to exist.
Unofficial is a word I understand all to well.
For politics have a way of making things disappear.
Fear is a dangerous thing when it is not in their hands.
They use it, but don't want to be a victim of it.
Propaganda, by denial is the name I shall give this.
It pisses me off, makes me angry that truth is as much a weapon as lies.
Where does it end?
When do your country men come to defend?
Up hold a name so proud.
This is who we are.
This is what we stand for.
We sleep among the streets.
We know of no homes.
An higher education lacking.
A constant hunger for food we don't have.
Crime and violence rampant.
Corruption shovelled up and thrown in your face.
Knowing of no escape.
How do we change?
This is a question I ask all.
For the answer are not simple.
They never are.

Sestina - Cycling
November bomb-fires refuse to take light
Like sultry splutters of a lazy passion.
And drowsy hedgehogs under dead, damp wood
Dream snail’s trail filaments of kiss and touch.
Autumnal sodden leaves, leave underfoot,
A worn, discarded carpet once so lush.
Cold winter heart of mornings, sunlight lush,
Spangle frosts on bare branches and delight
In shining grass blades crunching underfoot.
Invade my sleepy heart, excite my passion.
I yearn for kisses, search for trembling touch.
Tentatively snap dead-wood’s bitter wood.
Rising greenly, sap springs through new wood,
Feeding fresh leaf, nourishing bud till lush
Summer arrives. Await the radiant touch!
Anticipate! The sun’s young rays spread light,
Tempting seeds of lust to swell in passion,
Crushing memories which echo underfoot.
Wise warnings thud above whilst underfoot
The thundering tramplings of the wild, wild wood
Call out. “Unleash your thwarted passion.
Drink in the nectar of life’s root, the lush
Intoxicating spirit that sets light
Your body with the need for urgent touch.
Laden boughs bend overhead to touch
A verdant rug of green laid underfoot.
Sky brightness winks and blinks. The broken light
Peeps through. Charcoal dark, my cleft heart of wood
Remnant of fire, lies guarded in the lush
Cutting blades of grass that hide my passion.
Leaves scuttle, dry husks rush round with passion
Press-ganged by the wind. Gems dyed by the touch
Of death in glowing hues. Fruit full and lush
With wasps, reaping juice fallen underfoot.
For good, my soul is yearly marked like wood
Rings revealing all, sealed away from light.
Envoi
Can passion trampled underfoot spring up
Again? Can touch revive the flame in wood
Snuffed by lush, lush rain? Can kisses make light?

Rise Or Fall
Take action
Gotta raise a fist in blood
Domination
Can't continue acting like jerks
You show me all there's a chance
With only words for defence
There is no freedom to speak, no
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Yeah
Your reaction
Sticks and stones are no match for steel
This rebellion
Revolution's in your hands
Now listen
So it's part Apache
Do you know what that means?
Is it a segregation?
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Strength in numbers can alter your place
Take the action before it's too late
Make a stand
Give it up
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word from this promised land
Rise or fall
Number one to take the stand
Rise or fall
Take a word
Take a word from this land
Rise or fall
Rise or fall

Silence of the victim
I was a victim.
I am not any longer.
But within my head and heart I still am the victim.
I cant forget nor can I move on.
I never spoke out.
I had the silence of a victim.
To afraid to speak.
Silence of the victim.
I didnt speak untill it was to late.
More crap followed.
I put my family in danger.
I should of kept shut.
Most of it never was told.
Cos I had the silence of the victim.
Never did dare to speak.
To be the victim
It was hard.
But still I seem to be that victim.
I cant move on.
I am weak

God Defend New Zealand
God of Nations at Thy feet,
In the bonds of love we meet,
Hear our voices, we entreat,
God defend our free land.
Guard Pacific's triple star
From the shafts of strife and war,
Make her praises heard afar,
God defend New Zealand.
Men of every creed and race,
Gather here before Thy face,
Asking Thee to bless this place,
God defend our free land.
From dissension, envy, hate,
And corruption guard our State,
Make our country good and great,
God defend New Zealand.
Peace, not war, shall be our boast,
But, should foes assail our coast,
Make us then a mighty host,
God defend our free land.
Lord of battles in Thy might,
Put our enemies to flight,
Let our cause be just and right,
God defend New Zealand.
Let our love for Thee increase,
May Thy blessings never cease,
Give us plenty, give us peace,
God defend our free land.
From dishonour and from shame,
Guard our country's spotless name,
Crown her with immortal fame,
God defend New Zealand.
May our mountains ever be
Freedom's ramparts on the sea,
Make us faithful unto Thee,
God defend our free land.
Guide her in the nation's van,
Preaching love and truth to man,
Working out Thy glorious plan,
God defend New Zealand.

Love Will Rise Again
Words and music: todd carney taylor rhodes
Youve been hurt and left for dead
Shot from the saddle
And your heart, its been cut and bled
Run from the bottle
Youve been shattered, battered, youve had it rough
But never, ever, never give up
Cause love will rise, love will rise
Love will rise again
Youve got to fight like a true survivor
Love will rise again
Up from the ashes
Love will rise again... and again
You better run and hide away
Lost in the shadows
Youre alone, you wear the pain
Just like a medal
Youve been shot down, brought down
Youve had it rough
But never, ever, never give up
Cause love will rise, love will rise
Love will rise again
Youve got to fight like a true survivor
Love will rise again
Up from the ashes
Love will rise again...and again
Believe me I know where youve been
I used to be one of the wounded
Theres something your heart cant defend
Im bock on my feet, I come back alive
Stand up and fight, never say die
Up from the ashes, love will rise
Love will rise again
Youve got to fight like a true survivor
Love will rise again
Up from the ashes
Love will rise
Love will rise again
Love will rise again
Love will rise again
Yeah, yeah

Young Poets
You speak for the lakes, the trees and the birds
You say what they'd say if they had the words.
Make PEACE and be proud, choose well every choice
Speak HOPE and speak loud, you are Nature's voice.
Speak with respect now, for jungles and streams,
Speak for all wildlife and dream giant dreams.
Speak with great courage, speak up and speak out,
Write with a whisper or write with a SHOUT!
Stand up young poets for clean air and rivers,
Free verse or lyric; your message delivers...
Truth to the future citizens of earth,
Speak of your freedom your friends and self worth.
Speak for tomorrow and though you're still young,
Speak for the Forest, your pen is her tongue.
The world waits to hear your songs still unsung
Words posses power, you can write the wrongs
Teach us and lead us with Poems and with songs.
Speak now for nature, for trees and for birds,
Defenders of Earth choose carefullly your words!

Cant Happen Here
Contaminated fish and micro chips
Huge supertankers on arabian trips
Oily propaganda from the leaders lips
All about the future
Theres people over here, people over there
Everybodys looking for a little more air
Crossing all the borders just to take their share
Planning for the future
And were so abused, and were so confused
Its easy to believe that someones gonna light the fuse
Cant happen here, cant happen here
All that you fear theyre telling you, cant happen here
Supersonic planes for a holiday boom
Rio de janeiro in an afternoon
People out of work but theres people on the moon
Looking for the future
Concrete racktracks nationwide
Juggernauts carving up the countryside
Cars by the million on a one way ride
Using up the future
And were so abused, and were so confused
Its easy to believe that someones gonna light the fuse
Cant happen here, cant happen here
All that you fear theyre telling you, cant happen here
Satellites spying for the cia
The kgb and the men in grey
Wonder if Im gonna see another day
Somewhere in the future
We got everything we need for a peaceful time
Take what you want but you cant take mine
Everybodys living on the siegfried line
Worried bout the future
And were so abused, and were so confused
Its so easy to believe that someones gonna light it
Easy to believe someones gonna light the fuse
Cant happen here, cant happen here
All that you fear theyre telling you, cant happen here can it?

Anger, Hatred, And Violence
Anger, Hatred, Violence
Written by Wilfred Mellers
Castaway on foreign shores and we know not how to solve them
Chastised the golden child the so-called source of your problems
What of we done so wrong to make you so upset
What of we done so wrong that you cannot seem to forget
Anger, hatred, violence
You’ll go down in silence
Try and try as hard as you can
But you cannot win
Analyze, criticize, and compromised
Is what you’ll find yourself in
Bound, changed, and shackled
This is how we’re living
Victimized by brutality at the rise of your society
Bound, changed, and captive
This is what you call humanity
Some may rise and some may fall
What’s the sense of it all
Closer we creep we downtrodden ones
We answer to his call
Standing alone in a crowd
To be heard I have to shout
Victimized by the system
There’s just no way out
Sacrifice your self-respect and you’ll have no life at all
Mankind you’ll never know yourself till your back is against the wall

Rise, Rise to the Occasion
Rise, rise to the occasion
Rise, rise to the invitations of life
Oh rise, rise to the music of joy
Uh rise, rise to the victory over strife!
This is the time for you to march forward
Oh son of the Mighty! Valor is the key
This is the urgency to show courage abundant
Oh daughter of Energy! Courage is the key
Rise, rise to the tide and rise to the low
Defeat lethargy and defeat fear
Mind the goal and attain it
The guts are here and the glory is here
Face the challenge, embrace it
Cross the puddles and the furrows
Calm the heart and fight the battle
Celebration’s for you – not the sorrows
Rise, rise then, rise O bright!
Rise, rise then to the right
Tire not, rise till the end of the path
Rise, rise then to all the might!

A Wind Of Silence Is A Wind Of Violence
The wind of silence has become a wind of violence
Guns for war, guns for ones own protection
For some satisfaction, for others lack of affection
Children playing Russian roulette with their feet
Its not even safe anymore walking in the streets
The wind of silence is a wind of violence
Our future will be a reflection
Of our own segregation of the old generation
Lonely hearts lost in desperation
Not one or two, but a whole civilization
The wind of silence has become a wind of violence
The present, the future or the past. What would you choose?
Or shall I say: What have we to lose?
If we want our children to be happy and proud,
Then we have to shout and shout out loud:
Mouth to mouth, throw the dice
But hurry and don't think twice
It's only your voice you have to sacrifice
There is a wind of violence
Let's blow away the wind of silence
