Jesus, Lover Of My Soul
Jesus, Lover of my soul,
Jesus, I will never let you go
Youve taken me from the miry clay
You've set my feet upon the Rock, and now i know
I love you, I need you,
Though my world may fall, Ill never let you go
My Saviour, my closest friend,
I will worship you until the very end
(repeat)

Blind Bartimaeus
He would not let Jesus pass him by.
Called out to the Saviour with a loud cry.
It was his last chance to be made whole.
For blind from birth was this poor soul.
The crowd rebuked him to keep silent
but he cried out the more for he was intent
not to miss the Lord and let him pass by.
'Have mercy on me' was his loud cry.
Jesus stopped and bid them bring the man.
And jumping to his feet to Jesus he ran.
The Lord then said 'What do you want of me? '
'Rabbi', Bartimaeus said, 'I want to see.'
Immediately Jesus restored his sight
for he had faith that Jesus would put it right.
Then following Jesus along the way
his life had been miraculously changed that day.
As Bartimaeus we too have been born blind
and need like him the Saviour to find.
To cry 'Son of David have mercy on me.
Open my eyes, Lord, I want to see.'
It is at the cross that all can see
the extent of God's love for you and me.
And say to Jesus, 'Saviour hear my cry
while You touch others do not pass me by.'
Based on Mark 10: 46-52

female Jesus, poor Jesus,
jobless Jesus, prison Jesus,
homeless Jesus, illegal immigrant Jesus?
dog Jesus, cat Jesus,
baby in a dumpster Jesus,
addict Jesus, old Jesus?
gay Jesus, union Jesus,
hungry Jesus, foreign Jesus?
bumming a cup of coffee Jesus?
brother Jesus, sister Jesus?
just bombed Jesus,

Only Jesus
Only Jesus can satisfy your soul
He's the only one who can make you whole
He'll give you your heart's desires and longings
Just give him your life and all your belongings
He will make you to sing a sweet song
With him you can never go wrong
There's nothing in the world that can satisfy
Just walk with Jesus and he'll give you wings to fly
Only Jesus is the lover of your soul
Just trust him fully to take control
Jesus will never fail you in your trying hour
He gives sweet peace and shows his power
Jesus is enough and all you will ever need
Your soul will he nourish if his Word you'll read
Follow him all the way and never look back
He'll give you the victory over the devil's attack
Jesus's love is greater than any other
He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother

Salvation
how many Jesus's does it take?
rock n roll Jesus, civil rights Jesus,
sexual Jesus, Baptist Jesus,
Pentecostal snake Jesus...
heroin Jesus, small town family Jesus,
necklace Jesus, tattoo Jesus,
illegal immigrant Jesus...
Jesus on the cross in a drunk tank Jesus,
Marlboro Jesus, county fair Jesus,
pray for Armagadden Jesus...
or just a man,
living one day, one moment,
one bare naked dirty human need
at a time...
with open hands, open heart,
and open mind!

That's Jesus
THAT'S JESUS
WHEN I WAKE UP IN THE MORNING
PUT MY FEET ON THE FLOOR
I THANK HIM FOR THE DAY
THAT HE GAVE ME ONE MORE
I GIVE HIM ALL THE PRAISE
THE ONE THAT I ADORE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS
I WAS LOST AND ALL ALONE
MY HEART IN NEED OF HELP
I FOUND ETERNAL LIFE
AND LOST MY FEAR OF DEATH
BECAUSE I KNOW THE AUTHOR OF
MY EVERY BREATH,
OH THAT'S JESUS, THAT'S JESUS
GOD OF GLORY, MAJESTY
THE HOLY ONE WHO DIED FOR ME
WHO'S THE ONE I LONG TO SEE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS
IF YOU'RE A SOUL THAT'S LOST
AND IN NEED OF DIRECTION
YOU WONDER WHEN YOU DIE
IF YOU'LL GO TO HEAVEN
WELL FRIEND I'VE FOUND THE ANSWER
TO THAT VERY QUESTION
THAT'S JESUS, THAT'S JESUS
GOD OF GLORY, MAJESTY
THE HOLY ONE WHO DIED FOR ME
WHO'S THE ONE I LONG TO SEE
THAT'S JESUS, OH THAT'S JESUS

Jehovah
Consider the lilies of the field,
Solomon dressed in royal robes
Has not the worth of them.
Consider the lilies of the field.
He takes after each and every need.
Leave all your cares behind,
Seek him and you will find
Your father loves you so.
Consider the creatures of the air.
For all of the diamonds in all the earth
Have not the wealth of them.
Consider the creatures of the air.
Jehovah loves them with tender hand.
He knows your every care,
His touch is always there
To see you through the night.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
Consider the lilies of the field.
For how much more does he love his own,
If yaweh cares for them.
Consider the creatures of the air.
He takes after each and every need.
If we ask him for bread,
Will he give us a stone?
Jehovah loves his own.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.
And jehovah I love you so,
And jesus I want you to know,
All youve done for me to set me free,
Ill never let you go.

Lights Aglow For Christmas
Light up the world for Jesus
The Lord and Saviour of mankind.
Light up the heavens for Jesus
Ancestors of similar mind.
Count not the cost of Christmas
May greetings and poetry flow,
Jesus was born in Bethlehem
We love Him, come let it show.
And light up the tree at Christmas
The season our Saviour was born.
Remember the birth of Jesus Christ
Each Christmas Day in the morn.

My Jesus
My Jesus is like a voice in the dark
My Jesus is like a lonely warning
My Jesus is like a fear that haunts me
My Jesus is like a tortured memory
I'm Praying for my soul
My Jesus is a collector of pain
My Jesus says
"Pain will prove you love me"
My Jesus is like a shadow crawling
My Jesus says
"Their screams will guide you to me"
I'm Praying for your soul

I Believe In Jesus
Ran into mother mary down on line
Street in l.a.
She was preaching the gospel
She was singing how jesus saves
When a crowd of passing tourists
Looked to see what they could see
You know before they know it she had
Them all down on their knees
I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I already been through hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
Now jesus was a little lamb, his fleece
Was white as snow
And every where that jesus went
This lamb is sure to go
Well I believe in jesus you know I know him
Oh so well
And Im going to heaven by and by
cause I saved my soul from going to hell
I believe in jesus, in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus
Look at the sheep cause theyre
Running fast
They wanna make it through the gates
At last
So onward christian soldiers still
Marching as to war
With the cross of jesus just going on before
I believe in jesus, in jesus
I believe in jesus, in jesus.....

Sonnet: The Name of Jesus…
The name of Jesus gives us grace anew;
The name of Jesus cures minds of evils;
The name of Jesus portrays divine view;
The name of Jesus drives away devils.
The name of Jesus works great miracles;
The name of Jesus brings solace to all;
The name of Jesus flashes parables;
The name of Jesus makes a clarion call!
The name of Jesus wards off dangers great;
The name of Jesus acts like holy knives!
The name of Jesus changes sad a fate;
The name of Jesus saves all sinners’ lives.
The name of Jesus will convert a soul;
The name of Jesus leads souls to God’s goal!

Thy Faithfulness, Lord
Thy faithfulness, Lord, Each moment we find,
So true to thy word, So loving and kind!
Thy mercy so tender To all the lost race,
The vilest offender May turn and find grace.
The mercy I feel To others I show,
I set to my seal That Jesus is true:
Ye all may find favour Who come at his call,
O come to my Saviour, His grace is for all!
To save what was lost, from heaven he came;
Come, sinners, and trust In Jesus's name.
He offers you pardon; He bids you be free;
'If sin be your burden, O come unto me!'
O let me commend My Saviour to you,
The publican's friend And Advocate too,
For you he is pleading His merits and death,
With God interceding for sinners beneath.
Then let us submit His grace to receive,
Fall down at his feet And gladly believe:
We all are forgiven For Jesus's sake:
Our title to heaven His merits we take.

Friend Medley
There will never be a friend as dear to me
There will never be a friend as dear to me
There will never be a friend as dear to me as You
I worship You in spirit and in truth
I worship You in Spirit and in truth
There will never be a friend as dear to me
There will never be a friend as dear to me
There will never be a friend as dear to me as...
There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus
No, no, no, no, no not one
No, no, not one
There's not an hour that He is, He is not near us
No, no, not one
O no, no not one
Jesus knows
He knows all about our trouble
And He will guide till the day
The day is done
There's not a friend
There's not a friend
There's not a friend like the lowly Jesus
No not one
No not one
No not one
No not one
No not one
O what peace we often forfeit
O what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
All we gotta do is carry
Everything to God in prayer
What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer
Everything to God in prayer
Everything to God in prayer
Everytime You call me I receive Your healing
Everytime You call me friend
I receive Your healing

One More Day's Work for Jesus
One more day’s work for Jesus,
One less of life for me!
But Heav’n is nearer, and Christ is clearer
Than yesterday, to me.
His love and light fill all my soul tonight.
Refrain
One more day’s work for Jesus,
One more day’s work for Jesus,
One more day’s work for Jesus,
One less of life for me!
One more day’s work for Jesus!
How sweet the work has been,
To tell the story, to show the glory,
Where Christ’s flock enters in!
How it did shine in this poor heart of mine.
Refrain
One more day’s work for Jesus!
O yes, a weary day;
But Heav’n shines clearer, and rest comes nearer,
At each step of the way;
And Christ in all, before His face I fall.
Refrain
O blessèd work for Jesus!
O rest at Jesus’ feet!
There toil seems pleasure, my wants are treasure,
And pain for Him is sweet.
Lord, if I may, I’ll serve another day!
Refrain

Oh How I Love Jesus
(traditional)
Ohh oh oh oh
When I am disgraced
And I feel the gloom
God sends his angel
To see him my broom
Joy bells are ringing
Im satisfied
I know, I know that jesus is mine
Oh, how I love jesus
Oh, how I love jesus
Oh, how I love jesus
To know that jesus is mine
Oh, how I love jesus
Oh, how I love jesus
Oh, how I love jesus
To know that jesus is mine

You, Me & Jesus
If I said I loved you
What would you say?
If I said I needed you
Would it frighten you away?
If I said I loved you
And I wanted you to be
My one and only lover
Eternally.
Chorus
You and me and jesus
Jesus, me and you;
On our own wed break,
With him well make it through.
Jesus, take us, make us
What you want us both to be;
I give myself to her,
She gives herself to me.
Love is really fragile
And if its going to last
Weve got to start by giving jesus
Future, present, past
I ache the way I love you
But, babe, its sink or swim
And when we look back years from now
Were gonna owe it all to him.
Chorus
You and me and jesus
Jesus, me and you;
On our own wed break,
With him well make it through.
Jesus, take us, make us
What you want us both to be;
I give myself to her,
She gives herself to me.

God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen
God rest you merry, gentlemen,
Let nothing you dismay,
For Jesus Christ our Saviour
Was born upon this day,
To save us all from Satan's power
When we were gone astray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
For Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
In Bethlehem in Jury
This blessed babe was born,
And laid within a manger
Upon this blessed morn;
The which his mother Mary
Nothing did take in scorn.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
From God our Heavenly Father
A blessed Angel came,
And unto certain Shepherds
Brought tidings of the same,
How that in Bethlehem was born
The Son of God by name.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
Fear not, then said the Angel,
Let nothing you affright,
This day is born a Saviour
Of virtue, power and might;
So frequently to vanquish all
The friends of Satan quite.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
The Shepherds at those tidings
Rejoiced much in mind,
And left their flocks a feeding
In tempest, storm and wind,
And went to Bethlehem straightway,
This blessed babe to find.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
But when to Bethlehem they came,
Whereas this infant lay,
They found him in a manger
Where oxen feed on hay,
His mother Mary kneeling
Unto the Lord did pray.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.
Now to the Lord sing praises,
All you within this place,
And with true love and brotherhood
Each other now embrace;
This holy tide of Christmas
All others doth deface.
O tidings of comfort and joy,
Jesus Christ our Saviour was born on Christmas day.

God's Only Way
As we journey through each day, we need to point men to The Way,
To the only way of hope for all; to God’s redemption from man’s fall.
Christ came into a world condemned; to bring God’s Truth to all men.
In this world, all have sinned, and God’s redemption is found in Him.
Christ spoke to men with authority, as He spoke to them of Eternity.
Many men were amazed at Christ, as Jesus spoke about New Life.
Life that goes beyond this earth, a life men receive upon New Birth.
In Christ we become Born Again, to enter into a life that has no end.
Jesus Christ is the Creator of all, a perfect creation before man’s fall.
Jesus came to this earth my friend, to become the Savior of all men.
Jesus Christ is God’s Only Son, who died on the cross for everyone.
And the blood He shed that day, confirmed that He is The Only Way.
For Christ is God’s only Salvation, not for one, but for every nation.
Only Jesus Christ died at Calvary, for all the sin of both you and me.
And the message we must herald, He died for the sin of all the world.
God had paid the ultimate price, by sending His Son as our sacrifice.
Friend, only Jesus Christ rose again, this to offer New Life to all men.
And only through Jesus Christ, can all men experience Eternal Life.
For only Christ died and rose again, to become the Savior of all men.
Soon Christ the Eternal Creator, is coming back as Lord and Savior.

Ive seen a lot of things in my life
Alot of ups and downs
Made alot of mistakes
No matter what, youve always been by my side
Youve always been my best friend
Youre the love of my life (oh)
Youre everything to me (oh)
You never left my side (youre my best friend)
I love you so much (yes, you are)
Youre my best friend
[puffy]
Since the beginning of time
All you did was bless men
Too young to understand but now you my best friend
How could they doubt you, never think about you
Dont they know nothings possible without you
Faith without fear thats how they raised me
Words of man kill but never phase me
Grateful for wisdom that you gave me
But still Im like, dear God I wonder, could you save me?
Too much sinning, gotta be more than plush living
Gotta be more than grabbing nines to buck tin in
Gotta be more than just to lust women
Gotta be more than platinum rolexes, 600s and crushed linen
Praise your name, I know some of them hate their due
Judgment day, dont they know they cant escape your crew
Im just trying to live right and pray you take me through
And with this song I dedicate to you, my lord
1 - [mario winans]
Lord, you mean the world to me
Before I was born you chose me
You always hear me when Im calling
Even catch me when Im falling
Youre the closest one to me
I surrender all to thee
I want the whole wide world to see
That weve always been and well always be
Best friends
[puffy]
Sometimes I reminisce and wonder how I made it this far
Because of you, Im me, so you the real star
Your hindsight, the times right to get my mind tight
Then give it to you and let it shine bright
My best friend, only know how to teach the truth
Plant the seeds of life and let them eat the fruit
Cant you see that he spread love for you
Shed blood for you, cry for and die for you
Willies with mac millies know how you get down
We know the drama you bring whenever you hit town
Just remember when you pray, God is love
Gracious, merciful, forgive even the hardest thugs
Life as we know it, it all begins with him
Life as we know it, it all ends with him
If I was you I would never try to pretend with him
He might spaz and blow it, Im best friends with him
Repeat 1
[puffy]
Been two and a half years since my man big passed
Been two and a half years since my world crashed
I needed help, God gave me the power
Gave me the strength to go face to face with my darkest hour
Looked me in the eyes and ask what you doing unhappy?
Dont you know why Im here? and started shooting at me
Back to the wall, is my faith gonna play out
Never wavered once, gave me no way out
Your time to die, dont even stress the date
Youre coming with me, your soul Im next to take
I told him Im too much blessed with faith
And living for christ and then he said manifest the great
All of a sudden, what Im remembering
Ground started to shake, everything trembling
The power of the truth was shooting through my timberlands
Here was my lord jesus christ, my best friend again, come on

Naw, matter of fact clap your hands for me
Clap your hands, come on
