What Christmas Should Be
What wishes will you make
When the season is near
Will your dreams be the same
As they were last year
Will you ask for a little
Will you ask for a lot
And when you make your list
Will there be something you forgot
How about peace on earth
It can't be bought or sold
How about peace this Christmas
And someones hand to hold
How about love in our hearts
And hope for you and me
How about peace on earth
That's what Christmas should be
Will you get all the things
That you've been waiting for
Snowfall and presents
Choire singing at your door
This season will be perfect
Like those picture postcards seem
But is that the anwser
Is that what Christmas really means
How about peace on earth
It can't be bought or sold
How about peace this Christmas
And someones hand to hold
How about love in our hearts
And hope for you and me
How about peace on earth
That's what Christmas should be
What would you sacrifice
What would you give away
For the greatest gift of all
On Christmas day
How about peace on earth
It can't be bought or sold
How about peace this Christmas
And someones hand to hold
How about love in our hearts
And hope for you and me
How about peace on earth
How about peace on earth
It can't be bought or sold
How about peace this Christmas
And someones hand to hold
How about love in our hearts
And hope for you and me
How about peace on earth
How about peace on earth
That's what Christmas should be

Peace for Christmas
All I want for Christmas is Peace
All I want is war to cease
In the homes and on the street
Peace on earth and joy to greet
Underneath my Christmas tree
Christmas morn I hope to see
Headlines blaring PEACE ON EARTH!
For men of naught and men of worth
Wrap peace up in shiny foil
Seal it tight so it won't spoil
Put it on a freezer shelf
Keep it fresh, our future wealth
Take it out at dinner time
Share a slice of peace of mind
Pass it out to all our Brothers
Sisters, Children and our Mothers
Use the peace meal, use it wisely
Digest it well and let our eyes see
Peace on earth, good will to men
Need not wait until the end
In our homes on Christmas Day
Preach of Peace as only way
To be happy, to be sure
To meet Peace at Heaven's door

Christmas Lullaby
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
I hold you close to me
Under twinkling lights.
Rock you softly as
The day turns into night.
The angels are listening...
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
The wind blows gently
Whispering your name.
Somewhere bells are ringing,
It seems so far away.
The angels are listening...
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
I hold you close to me
Near the candlelight.
You are sleeping
In my arms tonight.
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.
Its Christmas time
Its Christmas time
Peace on earth, this starry night.
I will sing my gift to you,
A Christmas lullaby.

Merry, Merry Christmas
Peace to the world from the new kids on the block, we are here,
Were spreading all our joy, spreading all our love and our cheers.
Cheerful sleigh bells ring, choir children sing,
Its peace and love and harmony we bring.
Hail, merry christmas, merry, merry christmas
To all our sisters and brothers
Hail, merry christmas, merry, merry christmas
Let all of the world join our hands.
Theres a feeling in the air, its beginning to look like christmas everywhere.
Hear the gentle sounds of the snowflakes trickle down without a care.
People stop and stare, the christmas tree is there,
A star on top which nothing cant compare.
Hail, merry christmas, merry, merry christmas
Its all about peace and understanding
Hail, merry christmas, merry, merry christmas
Let all of the world lend a hand
A time for me, a time for you,
Theres enough of love to last our whole life through
Hail, merry...

Oh Christmas Night Oh Christmas Night
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
So quiet all and splendor
We celebrate Christ birth and might
With candle lights so tender
For on this night is born a king
The king of peace on earth
We glorify and humbly sing
About this child and holy birth
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
When night's around and dark
We find his love's a guiding light
And see his angels hark
We hope this time peace will bring
And guide our footsteps all
For he's the forth of everything
The protector of big and small
Oh Christmas night oh Christmas night
The spirits of love and greeting
When each love will burn on so bright
With kindness and good treating
We hope one day peace will arrive
For every life that's living
We must therefore still on strive
Remembering what Christmas is giving

The Peace of Christmas
This fully spirited rendition
Of tranquilizers,
Packaged by innocence—in a manger,
In a manger,
Has surprised the hungry and the angry with peace.
But down the road in years ahead,
Mary Magdalene waits,
With many heads,
That will settle
For peace not dreamed of;
Yet cares less who cares,
And would follow her new-found dream
To view a Roman cross.
As for today, Father Christmas
Has chosen to be a toy
To countless children—a celebrity god;
Tantalizing them with gifts—not in a manger,
Not in a manger,
But packaged with superficiality
For the anger sleeping in hunger,
In ambivalence of ambience.
Accept my offer of
The peace of Christmas—not on a platter,
Not on a platter,
Neither packaged in the superfluity of moments
But the simplicity of purposeful humanity;
To be sung by shepherds
Who longed for morning light.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.
The peace of Christmas.

Christmas Spirit
Everyone gather near
And Ill tell you a story that youll love
Ooh its christmas time
The seasons right
The seasons right
And all around the world we celebrate the birth of christ
He came to bring us peace
He came to bring us everything that we need
To set us free
Oh I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
Oh I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
As a child I still recall
Well christmas was my favorite season of them all
Oh my heart was filled with child night praise
And I hope there is you know it
Why the savior came
He came to bring us peace
He came to bring us everything that we need
To set us free
Now I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
Yes I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
So turn your heart throbs in
And let God grow within
Not to destroy
The greatest gift Ive known
He came to earth to bring love
To show us love
He came to bring us peace
He came to bring us joy
He came to bring us everything
Have faith if we believe
The gift that we receive
Is like that love and everything
The greatest gift Ive known
He came to earth to bring love
He came to bring us everything
Still l long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
Yes I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart
Now I long to feel that christmas spirit in my heart

Something About Christmas
There is something about Christmas,
In Santa Claus and twinkling trees,
In the joy and laughter of every child,
People kneeling in prayer on arthritic knees.
There is something about Christmas,
Though many wishes and dreams may fail.
It is something we have learned to accept
Through each Yuletide trail.
There is something about Christmas,
Something that overwhelms the heart,
And it is displayed in every household
Of thoughtful and gentle people miles apart.
There is something about Christmas,
A magnificent day for old and young,
For it seems that people are more pleasant
When the traditional carols are sung.
There is something about Christmas,
A day of grace and visions of peace
And nothing on earth can destroy it.
Joy and peace on earth will never cease.
There is something about Christmas
When church bells ring and candles glow,
Signaling that Christ was born in a manger
In the holy city of Bethlehem - years ago.

I Heard The Bells
(henrey wadsworth)
I heard the bells on christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And wild and sweet the words repeat
Of peace on earth, good will to men
I thought how, as the day had come
The belfries of all christendom
Had rolled along the unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep
God is not dead nor doth he sleep
The wrong shall fail, the right prevail
With peace on earth, good will to men
I heard a voice within me say
Do not despair this holy day
On christmas morn new hope is born
For peace on earth, good will to men

Santa's List
Come rest you weary gentlemen
let nothing you dismay.
lay down your swords and fight no more
for the sake of Christmas Day
A saviour came down to this earth
to show us everyone
how to live in harmony
together under the sun
Beyond the dark horizon
Lies a far more bountiful land
Void of all starvation
For every woman and man.
so reach out from the wilderness
and pray to heaven above
a future lies in wait for us
a world united in love
We don't need a merry Christmas
we don't need a Happy New Year
the only wish on Santa's list
is that one day there will be
peace on this earth
Through the valleys
over the hills
church bells echo their sound
whispers travelling through the trees
over the snow covered ground
spread the message far and wide
so every one can hear
home fires glow on angel wings
and banishes every tear
We don't need a merry Christmas
we don't need a Happy New Year
the only wish on Santa's list
is that one day there will be
peace on this earth
Grant us .. one wish
no more .. pain or sorrow
hear us .. help us
build a new tommorrow
So reach out from the wilderness
and pray to heaven above
a future lies in wait for us
a world united in love
We don't need a merry Christmas
we don't need a Happy New Year
the only wish on Santa's list
is that one day there will be
No more tears or pain at Christmas
no more children living in fear
the only wish on Santa's list
is that one day there will be
one day there will be
one day there will be
peace on this earth
Grant us .. our wish this Christmas

Let It Be Christmas
Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the hearts of all people
Both near and afar
Christmas everywhere
Feel the love of the season where ever you are
On the small country roads
Lined with green mistletoe
Big city streets where a thousand lights glow
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas, Christmas everywhere
Let it be Christmas everywhere
With the gold and the silver, the green and the red
Christmas everywhere
In the smiles of all children asleep in their beds
In the eyes of young babies
Their first fallen snow
The elderly's memories that never grow old
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let anger and fear and hate disappear
Let there be love that lasts through the year
And let it be Christmas, Christmas everywhere
Let it be Christmas everywhere
In the songs that we sing
And the gifts that we bring
Christmas everywhere
In what this day means
And what we believe
From the sandy white beaches
Where blue water rolls
Snow covered mountains and valleys below
Let it be Christmas everywhere
Let heavenly music fill the air
Let every heart sing
Let every bell ring
The story of hope and joy and peace
And let it b

Its almost Christmas here and there
It's almost Christmas here and there
Ever 1st day of September,
Everyone got their reminder.
Freakin' out coz it's almost December,
Coz it's almost Christmas here and there.
At malls you can hear Christmas song,
Colorful decor and lights displayed along.
Starts hearing ding dong bells everywhere,
Coz it's almost Christmas here and there.
They say Christmas is only for children,
But it's for everybody who believes in.
Time to merry, time to cheer,
Coz it's almost Christmas here and there.
Yes, it's almost Christmas here and there.
But the question is 'are you prepared? '
Prepared not for the gift giving,
But to give peace, love and be forgiving.
Christmas is the season for joy,
Prayers is best gift you can give not things nor toys.
Happiness I always felt on this season,
That's why I'm so excited for the day Jesus Christ was born.

Our Christmas
Our Christmas
Christmas came early for you and for me
Christmas with no gifts to open
Christmas without any yuletide tree
Christmas with words of love spoken
Christmas was walking to York hand in hand
Christmas in awe at the Minster
Christmas togetherness was just what we planned
Christmas was chaffed legs and blisters
Christmas was cups of tea served early morn
Christmas was being together
Christmas was loving from dusk until dawn
Christmas remembered forever
Christmas was driving through floods for the view
Christmas ‘our planning’ was starting
Christmas our Christmas meant so much to me
Christmas our bitter sweet parting

In The Quiet Of Christmas Morning (Bach 147)
In the quiet of Christmas morning
In the peace of Christmas dawn
The child that is the future
Will see the earth reborn
When we take our Christmas journey
In the steps that went before
With hands across the water
In the peace forever more
In the quiet of Christmas morning
In the peace of Christmas dawn
The child that is the future
Will see the earth reborn

All I Want For Christmas …
All I want for Christmas
Is Jesus babe be born,
In every Christian home,
Where He is most welcome.
All I want for Christmas
Is Christ to give His joy,
To every home on earth,
By His scriptural birth.
All I want for Christmas
Is peace on earth for all,
In every home, nation,
By this jubilation.
All I want for Christmas
Is hope for man reborn,
As Savior King gets born,
In this world, so forlorn.
All I want for Christmas
Is reconcile with God,
Whose love is born for us,
As ‘Emmanuel’, Jesus.

Let's End This War On Christmas
There's a war declared on Christmas
War on nativity
War on this festive season
And all things Christmassy.
No Christmas songs at Walmart
No carolers at night
No wish of 'Merry Christmas'
Christmas is sanitized.
No Christmas in the classroom
No Christmas now at work
What in the world will happen next,
No Christmases at church?
We're ashamed to share His story
With our children and our peers
For fear of being old fashioned
In this twenty first century.
Let's reclaim this Christmas season
With all it's hope and cheer
Let's end this war on Christmas
And keep it near and dear.
Let's greet with 'Merry Christmas'
In the stores and in the street
In the workplace and the office
To everyone we meet!
'MERRY CHRISTMAS

Thank God Its Christmas
Words and music by brian may and roger taylor
Oh my love weve had our share of tears
Oh my friend weve had our hopes and fears
Oh my friends its been a long hard year
But now its christmas
Yes its christmas
Thank God its christmas
The moon and stars seem awful cold and bright
Lets hope the snow will make this christmas right
My friend the world will share this special night
Because its christmas
Yes its christmas
Thank God its christmas
For one night
Thank God its christmas yeah
Thank God its christmas
Thank God its christmas
Can it be christmas?
Let it be christmas
Evry day
Oh my love weve lived in troubled days
Oh my friend we have the strangest ways
All my friends on this one day of days
Thank God its christmas
Yes its christmas
Thank God its christmas
For one day
Thank God its christmas
Yes its christmas
Thank God its christmas
Oooh yeah
Thank God its christmas
Yes yes yes yes its christmas
Thank God its christmas
For one day

Sonnet # 243
Oh, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas, Christmas time!
Give me my wish before my time to die.
Please, Christmas, listen to this sonnet`s rhyme!
Give my my wish, for it I here sing high.
Make peace on earth, and ever it to stay,
And illness kill; make happy children`s faces.
Make all the world be glee in eternal day
Where love we love and love all human races;
Hunger no more and poverty made dead.
For time the first make mind agree with heart,
And no more tears of sadness to be shed.
And from this bliss the earth ne`er to depart.
If some do laugh, but still many do weep,
Please Christmas, hear; the world its pain does keep.

My Nordic Christmas Story
I bought boots for Christmas to tread the icy plains.
I bought toys for Christmas with Santas in my trains.
I lit my home for Christmas with a Cedar bright.
I made cup cakes for Christmas for my love's delight.
I bought Jane a dress for Christmas with ribbons pink.
I bought for my grandma a cozy Christmas mink.
I bought for Jill two amazing Christmas Sparrows.
I bought for Jack a toy quiver full of arrows.
I bought an Elk for Christmas with nose giving light.
I bought for Christmas, candles for a solemn night.
I made for Christmas a warm and sweet lemonade,
and I sang on Christmas morn, a sweet Serenade.

An Old Christmas Song
I heard an old old Christmas song
sung by grandma on Christmas eve.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of a virgin who did conceive.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of a Christ child who will relieve.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of glad tidings we shall receive.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of peace on earth we shall achieve.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of joyful people who did grieve.
I heard an old old Christmas song
of pain eternal we shall leave.
