Unsung
Your contribution left unnoticed some
Association with an image
Just credit time for showing up again
Attention wandered Im left with it
Gone by sin too slowly
Cant pass it up
Then I thought nothing is right
I turned it off
To die unsung would really bring you down
Although wet eyes would never suit you
Walk through no archetypal suicide
Die young is far too boring these days
Your will to speak clearly
Exposed too much
Unsung once too often
Could not rub off

Unsung
Where have all the heroes gone?
Returning where theyre from
Did they touch God or did they touch the sun?
Preperation day!
Fearless desire
Someone will lose by living
Chosen suicide!
Did they touch God or did they touch the sun?
Preperation day!
Selfless act of giving
Many pay the price
Heroes suicide
Unsung
The world we recognize has just begun
Some die from living
So unsung
Preperation day!
Fearless desire
Someone will lose by living
Chosen suicide!
Some die from living
So unsung
Preperation day!
Selfless act of giving
Many pay the price

Unsung In Your Eyes
Rising to the challenge
Tough boys always appeal
With a little bit of orange
With a little bit of blue
Im gonna fix you up
Bring out the best in you
Im going to empty myself out
Hollowed of pride and alone
Filled in with with myself
The courage will be my own
But still I falter
Your hands know not my own
Its not that my body is overlooked
My soul is just unknown
And I cry myself to sleep
It should come as no surprise
Ive tailored myself to fit your needs
Still I am unsung in your eyes
Still I am unsung in your eyes

Repression
Let not one word
be left unsaid.
Let not one song
be left unsung
or ever hung
out to dry.
So no one can ask
how or why?
For they both were left
in a head to die.
Speak your word.
Sing your song.
To keep it mute
in a head too long
leaves a vaccum
out in space
and inner frustration
left in place.

Unsung Heroes
Everyday somewhere in the world
another unsung hero is born.
Someone who is willing,
to lay his life on the line
to save another living creature,
on this wonderful planet of ours.
To go out of their way,
and risk life and limb to save something,
from danger and certain death.
These unsung heroes don’t want medals,
glory or even fame.
In fact, most would walk away afterwards,
without anyone ever knowing their name.
It is not that they feel guilty.
They just feel that they haven’t done
anything that is special
or something someone else
wouldn’t have probably done.
Therefore, to all those unsung heroes
this poem is just for you.
For all the lives that you save
each and every day.

I Like Unsung Heroes
'Tis of the unsung heroes I wish to hear
Their names in the newspapers never appear
They don't seek the praise and they don't seek the fame
They keep a low profile few know them by name.
Like the teenager who saved the young girl from the house fire
About him there is so much for to admire
To save someone else's life he did risk his own
Yet the anonymous hero remains as unknown.
Her parents wish to thank him the one they do not know
But for the deserved plaudits he has failed for to show
For to bask in the limelight does not seem his way
As an anonymous unsung hero he would prefer to stay.
I like unsung heroes though unsung they remain
From their acts of unselfishness and bravery they do not wish to gain
Like the teenage house fire hero he surely is brave
The life of a five year old girl he did save.

Suicide Countdown.
suicide, suicide i wish i was dead.
suicide, suicide oh how much my wrists have bled.
suicide, suicide were almost there.
suicide, suicide no more skin, the blade will tear.
suicide, suicide we have one week.
suicide, suicide so filled with relief, i cannot speak.
seven days, suicide; until i die.
six days, suicide; no longer will i cry.
five days, suicide; ooh i cant wait.
four days, suicide; until i meet my fate.
three days, suicide; till my last word is said.
two days, suicide; twenty four hours till im dead.
one day, suicide; till night tears through dawn.
today, suicide; i am dead, i am gone.

To My Wife
Take, dear, my little sheaf of songs,
For, old or new,
All that is good in them belongs
Only to you;
And, singing as when all was young,
They will recall
Those others, lived but left unsung –
The best of all

Your Hero
The heroes of the masses they live for their renown
And the masses create their heroes and then drag their heroes down
And the masses are unpredictable they change from day to day
And some of their heroes like the Autumn flowers are quick to fade away.
Yet there are millions of unsung heroes and they live on every street
And every day a hero I feel privileged to meet
True heroes male and female yet by the masses unsung
The World is full of heroes of heroes old and young.
Some heroes of the masses are arrogant and proud
And their egos over-swollen from the adulation of the crowd
But give me the unsung heroes who go their own quiet way
Who out of the kindness of their hearts perform one good deed every day.
Many heroes of the masses are not heroes to me
Though every day I walk the street some true hero I do see
Your hero is chauffeur driven and drinks the most expensive wine
And you can have your hero but your hero isn't mine.

Take, dear, my little sheaf of songs,
For, old or new,
All that is good in them belongs

They will recall
Those others, lived but left unsung -
The bent of all.

A Suicide
The day I met you
I found a new life
But, little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
When I talked to you,
I felt as I was in paradise.
But, little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
I thought you loved me
N I could see it in your eyes.
But, little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
When I see you, I'm on cloud nine
And life seems all colorful and bright,
But, little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
I loved you, I fell for you
I thought that you would take me in your arms
and once again, make things right
But, little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
I trusted you and felt that you
were my 'Mr. Right'
But you left me alone in the dark
where my heart fought back for some light
Little did I know
that love to me, would be like a suicide.
The day you left me
was the day i finally realized,
that you were more precious than my life,
And now,
forgetting you would be harder than a
'SUICIDE'

Lady Magdalene
The man on the right is a man undone
he'd give you his soul if you asked him
for some.
A child in his way for he needs to believe
that love is a song
for each man to sing.
The man on the left is a prize unwon
a candle
unlit and a song unsung.
Believing that love is a dreamer's dream,
the man
on the left the me in between.
Lady Magdelene, I can hear your distant
trumpet
calling from the morning mountain,
singing to the passing river.
Take me home, show me peaceful days before my youth has gone.
The man
in between waits between the two
not hearing the lie and not seeing the
true.
Unknowing what is and denying what seems
and there he will sleep the
man in between.
Lady Magdelene, I can hear your distant
trumpet
calling from the morning mountain,
singing to the passing
river.
Take me home, show me peaceful days before my youth has
gone.
Lady Magdelene, make the sound of silent thunder
calling from
the lips of Abraham
make a sound that we may wonder, where we are.
Take us
to you soul for we have wandered far.
The man on the right was a man
undone
the man on the left like a prize unwon.
And God only knows what
their time will bring
or what will become of the man in between.

Suicide.
Suicide, suicide
Your presence is near
Suicide, suicide
I wish you were here
Suicide, suicide
Take me away
Suicide, suicide
Please make it today
Suicide, suicide
An answer, for me
Suicide, suicide
I need to escape, be free
Suicide, suicide
I’ve had too much
Suicide, suicide
Take me, do your touch
Suicide, suicide
Leave the rest behind
Suicide, suicide
You’re all over my mind
Suicide, suicide
Let me pass in peace
Suicide, suicide
I need to release

No specialty
I have no worthwhile specialty
It may not be considered as good quality
Yet I go on working as ordinary man
Never intend to stop and go as much as I can
History may not take note
No attention may be caught
No worthwhile mention or appreciation
But I will be undoubtedly remembered as simple citizen
No may call me as traitor
Not even mention as bad administrator
They may not frown at me as collaborator
And this I feel is worthy and suitable indicator
I have so many desires
I can’t go on receiving the satires
It doesn’t suit to my style of functioning
As I am afraid of any questioning
What I have in me is my exclusive domain
It may stay with me so long as I remain
Even if some contribution is remembered
I shall deem it as great work and honored
You need become great known leader
People know you more as readers
They have aptness to catch the real nerve
Only we need their sympathy and deserve
Why should I go away from my brethrens?
Why I do such things that can add concerns?
What benefit that can give me as additional security?
I may prove definitely as per my ability
I shall die as unsung hero
As I am made big from small zero
I was not worth even for any status
It is real credit trusted upon us

Decorated...
Let there be a Congressional Medal
Of Honor for life. For those unsung
heroes and their unyielding courage. Let
them know in their time of need,
we shall provide them with, they emotional
medicine and care they require.
Love, compassion and understanding.
The next time, the word 'hero' is spoken,
look around, for on the battlefield of
life, there are millions, 'of unsung hero's.'
Signs Of Life
Its been forty days since I heard from you this waiting game...
You put me through
I feel the silence... killing me... day to day
Losin hope, I lose myself, its got me thinkin theres someone else
We need to talk... you give me metaphors, by the way...
What are you tryin to say
Tryin to not think about you
Im not a dead man walkin without you
You know Ill be alright
Im showing signs of life
You left me barley breathin
Ive had time for the healing
Now Ive opened my eyes
Im showing signs of life
Lyin next to me... were you ever mine
Just wasted love and wasted time
Did you ever find what you were lookin for,
The nights you took me breath away
Ill miss your love... miss your touch, but this holdin on it hurts too much
Now its my time to walk away... Ill be okay
Tryin to not think about you
Im not a dead man walkin without you
You know Ill be alright
Im showing signs of life
You left me barley breathin
Ive had time for the healing
Now Ive opened my eyes
Im showing signs of life
Well, tell your friends that you stole my heart
But youll never got a piece of my soul
You took my love, tore my life apart
Theres more to me than youll ever know...
Tryin to not think about you
Im not a dead man walkin without you
You know Ill be alright
Im showing signs of life
Tryin to not think about you
Im not a dead man walkin without you
You know Ill be alright
Im showing signs of life
You left me barley breathin
Ive had time for the healing
Now Ive opened my eyes
Im showing signs of life
Seeing signs of life...

Being Boring
(tennant/lowe)
---------------
I came across a cache of old photos
And invitations to teenage parties
Dress in white one said, with quotations
From someones wife, a famous writer
In the nineteen-twenties
When youre young you find inspiration
In anyone whos ever gone
And opened up a closing door
She said: we were never feeling bored
cause we were never being boring
We had too much time to find for ourselves
And we were never being boring
We dressed up and fought, then thought: make amends
And we were never holding back or worried that
Time would come to an end
When I went I left from the station
With a haversack and some trepidation
Someone said: if youre not careful
Youll have nothing left and nothing to care for
In the nineteen-seventies
But I sat back and looking forward
My shoes were high and I had scored
Id bolted through a closing door
I would never find myself feeling bored
cause we were never being boring
We had too much time to find for ourselves
And we were never being boring
We dressed up and fought, then thought: make amends
And we were never holding back or worried that
Time would come to an end
We were always hoping that, looking back
You could always rely on a friend
Now I sit with different faces
In rented rooms and foreign places
All the people I was kissing
Some are here and some are missing
In the nineteen-nineties
I never dreamt that I would get to be
The creature that I always meant to be
But I thought in spite of dreams
Youd be sitting somewhere here with me
cause we were never being boring
We had too much time to find for ourselves
And we were never being boring
We dressed up and fought, then thought: make amends
And we were never holding back or worried that
Time would come to an end
We were always hoping that, looking back
You could always rely on a friend
And we were never being boring
We had too much time to find for ourselves
And we were never being boring
We dressed up and fought, then thought: make amends
And we were never being boring
We were never being bored
cause we were never being boring
We were never being bored

Negative Thoughts
A dance without a rhythm
A song that's left unsung
A heart that's never given
Refusing to be won
A night that never see's the dawn
A love that's not returned
The soul that wonders so forlorn
From lesson's never learned
A cry for help unheeded
That echoes through the mist
A friend when they are needed
So often dearly missed
The weight of expectation
A transient that stays
So pay them no attention
Just keep below their gaze.
