Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXIII: Denial

Deny it with smile, deny it with silence
Deny it with elegance, deny it with distraction
Deny it with anger, deny it with challenge
Deny it with promise, deny it with comfort
Deny it with tear, deny it with emotion
Deny it with effort, deny it with cruelty
Deny it with forget, deny it with indifferent
Deny it with joke, deny it with lie

The Other One Needs

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And he prefers that over others.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

He's nothing but a whatever he wants to be.
He lives,
And breathes...
From a different,
Reality.

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And he prefers that over others.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And he prefers that over others.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And they got exactly what...
The other one needs.
She's nothing but a bad boy,
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And he prefers that over others.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

And they got exactly what...
The other needs.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

The other one needs.
Oh boy.
Oh boy!
Oh boy...

The other one needs.

I am proud to be white

My two dogs patrol the yard
from side to side
and walk along the wall
with the street
to and fro
as if they at any moment expect
a threat
or armed invasion

and I have moved the mailbox
for the poor postman
to do his duty in safety

and it’s quite clear
that lawful authority
is decaying
and the country is more insane than mad.

Black policemen walk eight
next to each other in a shopping centre
and even when I stand pressed
against a shop’s window
to avoid them
they still bump into me

and when I let them know
that the walkway doesn’t belong to them
with a submachine gun
they turn to me
because I am white
and this intimidation I laugh off

even when I have to
give a statement
for my stolen car
to the gate guard
on the outside of the police station.

So near to a black police state
I have not yet seen
and still for this nonsense I am not afraid
and know my rights and the law
and these people will never know
how much I love my country.

I am proud to be white
and my language, culture, norms, values
and humanity differ so much
that I never
want to be another colour.

Even when I am now
a third rate citizen in my country
which claimed
military service from me
where there are discriminated
against my human rights
and where from time to time
I am without an income and a job

since I serve an almighty Lord
who sets governments up and let them fall
and who gets solutions out of impossibility.

OUR Duty...

It is my duty to stand up for my country and belief
It is my duty to end my brothers’ and sisters’ grief
It is my duty to fight for my country and to spread goodness and trust
It is my duty to proclaim peace and harmony as a must

If everyone could just shake hands
Where difference no longer stands
If everyone could just walk together
Then the peace and harmony that I’m calling for shall last forever

If we could just unite and abolish all the wars
Then we shall unlock all of the friendship doors
If we could put an end to all the pain from people no matter what color or faith they are
Then the road to heaven and eternal happiness shall not be far

It is OUR duty to stand up for OUR country and belief
It is OUR duty to end OUR brothers’ and sisters’ grief

Authority Song

They like to get you in a compromising position
They like to get you there and smille in your face
They think, theyre so cute when they got you in that condition
Well I think, its a total disgrace
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
So I call up my preacher
I say: gimme strenght for round 5
He said: you dont need no strength, you need to grow up, son
I said: growing up leads to growing old and then to dying,
And dying to me dont sound like all that much fun
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
Oh no
Oh no
I fight authority, authority always wins
Chorus:
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I fight authority, authority always wins
I been doing it, since I was a young kid
Ive come out grinnin
I fight authority, authority always wins

Authority is not a quality one person ""has,"" in the sense that he has property or physical qualities. Authority refers to an interpersonal relation in which one person looks upon another as somebody superior to him.

We only have ourselves to blame!

Selected randomly by fate.
I became famous over night.
Be cause of what I chose to write.
About the duties of the state.

My writing caught the interest
Of the silent majority.
Who happily agreed with me.
It is our duty to protest.

Against assumed authority.
The creeping power of the state.
We can't afford to hesitate.
We have to act immediately.

If we do not it will become
Too late for us to call a halt.
The state will control by default.
And bring an end to our freedom..

We only have ourselves to blame.
Because we did not choose to see
erosion of our liberty.
We let the state control the game.

The time has come to overthrow
The dominant bureaucracy.
Inhibiting our liberty.
There is no doubt it has to go.

We live in a democracy.
It's our responsibility.
To ensure that bureaucracy
Cannot be used oppressively.

Never Deny You

All the love that we shared
Could never just disapear
And all that we've been through,
I believe in you
III, will never deny you..
III, will never deny you..
III, will never deny you..
III, will never deny you..
friend said to me one day,
I should just forget you,
But my experiance say
What we have is true
Judases, they will betray you,
Thomases, they will doubt you,
Peters, they will deny you,
but iii will never deny you,
All the love that we shared
Could never just dissapear
And all that we've been through
I believe in you
(chorus)
(will never deny you) I wil never deny you
(never deny you) III, will never deny you (deny you)

Denial About Jealousy

do not deny it
you're silent

do not deny it
you're jealous

do not speak
anything about it

i am not yours
and i will not be

around when you
shall be furious

do not deny it
your silence shows

do not speak any word
it glows

do not write about it
it serves no purpose

please let it go
set yourself free

from the frost in your mind
from that dew

that is meant to go
the sun has come

Bad, yet superior

Disloyalty is evil
But still superior to infidelity
Ingratitude is bad
But still superior to betrayal
Meanness is low
But still superior to imprudence.
Revenge is cruel
But still superior to assault.

My Country Lied

I lack the urge but have the skill.
My country taught me how to kill.
I had no choice could not refuse
nobody asked me for my views.

They said my country needed
to subjugate the enemy.
I was still young, green and naïve.
That I was sure I should believe

that what they told me must be true.
That it was something I should do.
But I discovered in due course
we were fighting to enforce

on those with just cause for dissent.
A very unjust settlement,
the promises my country made
and did not keep. We now forbade

their self determination.
The right of every nation,
it was battle we must lose.
The people have the right to choose.

To be an independent state
no longer seen as second rate.
Which they achieved eventually
they were not just a colony.

On looking back it seems to me
my country lied apparently.
An abuse of authority
I will not forget easily.

I lack the urge but have the skill.
My country taught me how to kill.
Though I can say with confidence
I’d only kill in self defence.

It's up to us, the people, to break immoral laws, and resist. As soon as the leaders of a country lie to you, they have no authority over you. These maniacs have no authority over us. And they might be able to put our bodies in prison, but they can't put our spirits in prison.

The Gumsucker's Dirge

Sing the evil days we see, and the worse that are to be,
In such doggerel as dejection will allow,
We are pilgrims, sorrow-led, with no Beulah on ahead,
No elysian Up the Country for us now.

For the settlements extend till they seem to have no end;
Spreading silently, you can't tell when or how;
And a home-infested land stretches out on every hand,
So there is no Up the Country for us now.

On the six-foot Mountain peak, up and down the dubious creek,
Where the cockatoos alone should make a row,
There the rooster tears his throat, to announce with homely note,
That there is no Up the Country for us now.

Where the dingo should be seen, sounds the Amy tambourine,
While the hardest case surrenders with a vow;
And the church-bell, going strong, makes us feel we've lived too long,
Since there is no Up the Country for us now.

And along the pine-ridge side, where the mallee-hen should hide,
You will see some children driving home a cow;
Whilst, ballooning on a line, female garniture gives sign,
That there is no Up the Country for us now.

Here, in place of emu's eggs, you will find surveyors' pegs,
And the culvert where there ought to be a slough;
There, a mortise in the ground, shows the digger has been round,
And has left no Up the Country for us now.

And across this fenced-in view, like our friend the well-sung Jew,
Goes the swaggy, with a frown upon his brow,
He is cabin'd, cribb'd, confin'd, for the thought is on his mind,
That there is no Up the Country for him now.

And the boy that bolts from home has no decent place to roam,
No region with adventure to endow,
But his ardent spirit cools at the sight of farms and schools,
Hence, there is no Up the Country for him now.

Such a settling, spreading curse must infallibly grow worse,
Till the saltbush disappears before the plough,
But the future, evil-fraught, is forgotten in the thought,
That there is no Up the Country for us now.

We must do a steady shift, and devote our minds to thrift,
Till we reach at length the standard of the Chow
For we're crumpled side by side in a world no longer wide,
And there is no Up the Country for us now.

Better we were cold and still, with our famous Jim and Bill,
Beneath the interdicted wattle-bough,
For the angels made our date five-and-twenty years too late,
And there is no Up the Country for us now.

For No Fault

It is nice to greet a person with good morning
That gives sound reciprocation with no warning
Any man may move visibly with nice address
The happiness then can be seen on the face

'Nice weather here´ she addressed me as dear
I considered her as reliable friend and felt no fear
I said 'nice evening here with rain clouds over'
She was feeling little irritation for finding a cover

'I am persecuted relentlessly for no fault'
She started by saying it and came to heavy bolt
'My son is taken away and put behind bar'
'I have been pushed away and shunted very far'

I learnt from her that such thing is happening in liberal country
Where people are right conscious and value for liberty
'The state police are after our liquidation'
'I fear lot and anticipate more pressure with intimidation'

I was getting no pitch to get it right
Why at all she had to struggle and offer fight?
'I may have to flee the country leaving behind my dog and son'
They are making excuses to frame us with false reasons

I found out her to be literate with knowledge as translator
She was working on pay roll with some religious center
State authority might have found some objectionable material
So was the cause of all irritation and start of troubles

'I fear for my life and they may kill me anytime'
'I want to flee from this country at given time'
But I shall not be allowed and my son may be killed
Nothing shall occur on this earth until He has willed

I believe in human rights but individual must too respect
The prevailing laws and behaves in no detrimental acts
You loose then all rights in any manner to react
The best way is to prove before authority the real facts

No country can ill afford human violation
It has direct bearing on diplomatic relation
If one involves against human code
The situation is likely to explode

Expected Change

Only God above changes hearts; The One behind as one departs,
From a life that is filled with in sin, when God’s Spirit, lives within,
But, many have only a head belief, and from sin there is no relief,
From their present sinful life, not personally knowing Jesus Christ.

They just struggle day and hour, never sensing The Spirit’s power,
Acknowledging Truth as they hear it, but, not indwelt by The Spirit,
God’s Holy Spirit sent to men, but, only when they are Born Again,
Born of God from Heaven above, by God’s Spirit Christ spoke of.

Many men acknowledge The Lord, but day by day God is ignored,
Living every day, on their own, ignoring Authority of God’s Throne,
God’s Power, that changes a life, who truly comes to Jesus Christ,
God’s Authority to make one whole, as the Spirit indwells that soul.

So professed believers do stumble, as their heart was not humble,
When they professed knowledge of, our Lord God reigning above,
With their present spirit of pride, God’s Holy Spirit wouldn’t reside,
In the heart of the professing soul, so in life they’ll continue to fall.

A Truth that comes with Salvation, is God’s Work of Regeneration,
As God’s Spirit changes everyone, who truly comes to God’s Son,
Change that Scripture makes clear, that in each believer will appear,
But, if change you do not see, you may not know Christ personally.
