There was this kid in our neighborhood.
His pop had named him renegade.
He lived up to his name
With all the trouble that he made.
One day ol renegade snuck into the park theater downtown
For a laugh he set fire to the screen,
Burnt the whole damn place to the ground.
He thought that no one would mind,
He did that sort of thing all the time.
But his pop was waitin for him.
At age fifteen renegade,
Stole a tow truck from arnies shell
Drove it through the front of a hardware store.
Spent the night in a county jail.
He didnt seem to mind a bit.
He liked the attention he would get.

Down to the banana republics, down to the tropical sun
Go the expatriated americans, hopin to find some fun
Some of them go for the sailing, caught by the lure of the sea
Tryin to find what is ailing, livin in the land of the free
Some of them are running from lovers, leaving no foreward address
Some of them are running tons of ganja
Some are running from the i.r.s.

Final Deed

Here you are once again asking for my help.
What is it this time? Can you not handle this
on your own or are you incapable of that much.
I won't be here forever to protect you and your
people. I am not immortal nor am I untouchable.
You call me a hero when I am nothing like it. You
only call me that cause you think I am saving you
when all I am really doing is making you more
dependant upon me. I am not a hero for if I
am anything Im a renegade with no rules, no
sorrow nor any remorse. You are nothing more to
me then a bunch of weaklings who have become a
nusense. It always something with you. I shall help
you this one last time. Consider this my last deed
for you and never call upon me again to save
you or your people. It is time for you to grow a
backbone and stand up for yourself. I pity those
who think I am a hero....they are soon to find out

Effrontery

After scarring, the big gap
confronts a mascot.
The caster is telling a lie.

Under shock and anger
you start cursing the renegade truth.

Black windows now perceive the light.

War of words comes to disarming of
