Big Railroad Blues
Well my mama told me, my papa told me too,
Now my mama told me, papa told me too,
Well I shouldnt be here tryin to sing these railroad blues.
Wish I had alistened to what my mama said,
Wish I had alistened to what my mama said,
Well I wouldnt be here tryin to sleep in this cold iron bed.
Well I went to the depot, I never got there on time,
Went down to the depot, never got there on time.
Well my train done left, shes a rollin down the line.
Mister jailer go away now, dont tell me no lies,
Mister jailer go away, dont tell me no lies,
When the trains going down, shes rollin down the line.
Well my mama told me, my papa told me too,
Now my mama told me, papa told me too,
Well I shouldnt be here tryin to sing these railroad blues.

Dont turn on the lights cause I dont wanna see

Open up the window, let some air into this room
I think mommas chocking from the smell of stale perfume
And the cigarette youre smoking about to scare me half to death
Open up the window, let me catch my breath
Some radio is blastin
Someones knockin at the door
Im lookin at my girlfriend
She just passed out on the floor

Dont know what it is

Hell Or High Water
Everybody, you dont have to choose
You dont have to prove it
Its only rock n roll
Mama don told me
Papa don scold me
Superstition, black cat in the cradle
Dancing on the table
Dont you snake on me
Mama don told me
Daddy don scold me, told me, show me
You know that he (sold? saw? ) me
Chorus:
Come hell or high water
Come hell or high water
Come hell or high water
Come hell or high water
Blood money, lyin through your back teeth
Fightin on the main street
Breathe your last breath on me
Mama don told me
Poor boy get home
Hot lovin trigger-happy feelin
Touchin up and teasin
You know it so bad
Mama don told me
Papa don scold me, told me, show me, rock n rolled me
Repeat chorus (twice)
Come hell, come hell, come hell

Tell Me Again
Tell me again papa,
Of how my life was taken, .
Tell me again papa of how reality was shaken.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my life ended.
Tell me again mama,
Of how my human instincts faded.
Tell me again papa,
Of how I took my true form.
tell me again papa,
About the blackness of the storm.
Tell me again mama,
Of how you teet sunk into my skin.
tell me again mama,
Of how I came to win.
Tell me again papa,
About the pain that gave me forever.
Tell me again pap,
Of how you made me so clever.
Tell me again mama,
Of all the time we have to share in our own empire.
tell me again mama,
Oh how I became a vampire.

Papa Was A Rolling Stone
Papa was a rollin' stone
It was the third of september
That day i'll always remember, yes I will
'cause that was the day that my daddy died
Never had a chance to see him, no
Never heard nothin' but bad things about him
Mama, i'm depending on you to tell me the truth
Mama just hung her head and said
Chorus
Papa was a rollin' stone
Wherever he laid his hat was his home
And when he died
All he left us was alone (repeat)
Hey, mama, is it true what they say
That papa never worked a day in his life
Some bad talk going around sayin'
Papa had there outside children
And another wife
That ain't right
Heard some talk about papa and his storefront
Preachin'
Talkin' about saving souls and all the time
Leaching
And dealing in dirt
Stealin' in the name of the lord
But mama she just said
Chorus
Say, I heard my papa was a jack of all trades
Is that what sent papa to an early grave?
Folks say papa would beg, borrow or steal just
To pay his bills.
Hey, mama, folks say papa was never much on thinkin'
Spent most of his time chansin' women and drinkin'
But mother, i'm depending on you to tell me the
Truth
But my mama she just said
Chorus(2x)

Days Like This
When its not always raining therell be days like this
When theres no one complaining therell be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me therell be days like this
When you dont need to worry therell be days like this
When no ones in a hurry therell be days like this
When you dont get betrayed by that old judas kiss
Oh my mama told me therell be days like this
When you dont need an answer therell be days like this
When you dont meet a chancer therell be days like this
When all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they f it
Then I must remember therell be days like this
When everyone is up front and theyre not playing tricks
When you dont have no freeloaders out to get their kicks
When its nobodys business the way that you wanna live
I just have to remember therell be days like this
When no one steps on my dreams therell be days like this
When people understand what I mean therell be days like this
When you ring out the changes of how everything is
Well my mama told me therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me

About Mama and Papa on Those Crucial Times...
the last day was crucial
it was excruciating,
i saw papa kicked mama
and mama fell down the
path
she was moving out from home
she could not take him anymore
everything was over
practically, , ,
the dogs barked
hating papa
they perhaps thought
he was a total stranger in
his own house
and they do not recognize
him as their
master anymore...
i walked away from home
on that crucial day
i did not want to know
what happened after
i heard papa died in
all pain
you told me that there was
that inevitable conclusion
that papa never loved mama
despite their five children
and 50 years...
i never believed you
i decided never to believe you
i believed that face in the mirror
half is papa's
the other half is mama's
how can there be two of them in me
if they never really loved each other?
they were sick and tired
those were the reasons
they forgot
that was the cause...

Mama Laye
(myles goodwyn)
Published by slalom publishing co. - bmi
In a foreign land beneath a foreign sky
They speak of mama laye
They dont believe she died
The people raise their eyes
They said theyd sing a song
They ask the spirit world
Cause they know where shes gone
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no, no no
They say she never sleeps
She never close her eyes
She speaks the magic tongue
Shes slowly hypnotized
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no, no no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, mama laye
They are as grains of sand
And then they are as one
They pray to mama laye
The father, mother, son
They say shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no, no no
Shes never far away, mama laye, mama laye
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no
Shes never far away, mama laye, no, no no
Shes never far away, mama laye, mama laye

Well I play an old guitar from nine till half past one
I'm just tryin' to make a livin' watching everybody else havin' fun
Well I don't miss much if it happens on a dancehall floor
Mercy look what just walked through that door
Well hello T-R-O-U-B-L-E
Tell me what in the world
You doin' A-L-O-N-E
Yeah say hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E
I was a little bitty baby when my papa hit the skids
Mama had a time tryin' to raise nine kids
She told me not to stare cause it was impolite
She did the best she could to try to raise me right
Cause mama never told me 'bout nothin' like Y-O-U
Bet your mama musta been another good lookin' honey too
Hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E
Well a sweet talkin', sexy walkin', honky tonkin' baby
The men are gonna love ya and the woman gonna hate ya
Remindin' them of everything they're never gonna be
May be the beginning of a world war three
Cause the world ain't ready for nothing like Y-O-U
I bet your mama musta been another good lookin' mama too
Hey say hey good L double O-K-I-N-G
Well I smell T-R-O-U-B-L-E

Kyrie, mass in c. k 427, Mozart
Papa is dead.
He is following mama.
His coffin is white
And shiny
Very much like
That of mama
In kyrie
The soprano
Sings for papa
In the church
For his last
Day today.
All seems to be white.
Pure, o they were
Purely in love
When they were
Alive, they always
Quarrel, papa kicks
Mama and mama
Bites him in return
They seem not to
Endure each other’s
Presence and each
Would want to
Kill each other.
Mama died first
And papa takes
Her picture and
Keeps it in his
Pocket and he
(mind you)
cries all night
papa loved mama
mama loved papa
after all.
Listen to the song
Of kyrie
Amadeus Mozart
A hymn for the
Dead who cannot endure
Each other when
They were once alive.
Until now, it is something
That I cannot understand.
I listen to kyrie
The soprano taking us to the tip of the mountain
Her human voice
Topping my puzzlement of it all
Why in death, why after death,
We realize the person that we miss
When he is gone, we say we love him most.
Papa loved mama after all
We loved papa after all.

Let The Wind Carry Me
Papas faith is people
Mama she believes in cleaning
Papas faith is in people
Mama shes always cleaning
Papa brought home the sugar
Mama taught me the deeper meaning
She dont like my kick pleat skirt
She dont like my eyelids painted green
She dont like me staying up late
In my high-heeled shoes
Living for that rocknroll dancing scene
Papa says leave the girl alone, mother
Shes looking like a movie queen
Mama thinks she spoilt me
Papa knows somehow he set me free
Mama thinks she spoilt me rotten
She blames herself
But papa he blesses me
Its a rough road to travel
Mama let go now
Its always called for me
Sometimes I get that feeling
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
I get that strong longing
And I want to settle
And raise a child up with somebody
But it passes like the summer
Im a wild seed again
Let the wind carry me
