In Search Of Inspiration

searching the world for inspiration
searching books, music and nature too
a lot of effort gone into it, a lot of concentration
inspiration i think is hard to find

in the songs of birds, in the whistle of the wind
i search for inspiration, even a tiny little bit
when a baby laughed or when a woman grinned
i searched folr inspiration, guess it's harder to find

in the words of shelly, keats and shakespeare too
inspiration i searched and searched, no use
in 'gone with the wind'and 'the sound of music'
movies i searched for a bit of inspiration
'
without inspiration, what do i write
i wanna fill the pages with the poem that's right
i need to write a poem, i need inspiration
i wanna write a poem. wait a minute! ! , i just did! ! !

note: i never write poems for the sake of writing.......it comes from the heart......in reality...i dont need to search for inspiration much.....it comes when it needs to... :)

The Grind

So confused I don't know what's real.
Casing false leads in hope to find,
all the great love that's been left behind.
I keep on searching in the hope,
the grind that will end in love that's yours and mine.

Confused and lostthis taxing grind,
I know we're both caught in a deadly bind.
Searching searching in loves true song.
I just want others to steer clear,
so I can find you with no wrong.

Everyday I feel so close,
yet within a moments time it feels so long.
I'll grind on through with dilligence true.
Until the day I finally get to you.

Searching for inspiration

I want to write the perfect poem

Or novel, tale or anthem

Don’t know where to start

Nor how to go about that

So I asked a wise man and he said

‘Don’t start writing till you get inspired’

I looked around for inspiration

In wine, woman and song

All three together is heady

And I went to sleep unsteady

I woke up with a splitting headache

And inspiration was far away

Then I went to my wise friend

He said ‘it’s not the end.’

‘Keep looking for inspiration

You’ll find aplenty in nature’

So I went searching to the mountains

And valleys, lakes and ocean

Till I got tired of searching

And went to sleep deadbeat

Somehow I couldn’t find inspiration

In all my journeys and travails

My wise friend saw my despair

And told me not to worry

“Listen to the sound of traffic

Inhale some putrid air”

“Listen to the hum of mosquitoes

And take in the city smells”

“When you’re back in your natural habitat

Inspiration will find you there”

A Spring

(not the season)

A spring
A perennial source of inspiration
about it
we have loads and loads of information
and that
we have as our scriptures
to depict that
we have made our sculptures
we call all these.....
our rich heritages from our ancestors

WHERE IS THAT SPRING....
A PERRENIAL SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

Have we lost sight of it due to our pride?
A spring could'nt be encaptured
A spring could'nt be stored
The scriptures and sculptures were reservoires....
born out of this spring
Just a pride about those....
would'nt bring back the spring.
The scriptures and sculptures are not an ' over ' thing
it was just a ' beginning ' thing
This spring can neither have a beginning nor ending
it is a perennial thing.

WHERE IS THAT SPRING.....
A PERENNIAL SORCE OF INSPIRATION

How do we find this spring
It's just not a common thing
to be found by one and be used by all
Do we need a ' DIVINER ' to divine this spring?

Only if i could

If i could take this heart that makes me love you so much to stop searching for your love until i find you i could do it, but i cant.

Only if i could i would not wonder why life is so difficult without you i would stop saying that you are my inspiration the motivation for my inception to the exception of information in this place of reincarnation i would stop but cant only if i could.

I wonder if fairy tales ever do come true
If a boy ever finds you with your lost shoe

Is there is someone out there hoping to find you?
Searching their whole life just to be right beside you?

I wonder if movies ever play out
If the boy really does stand up and shout

I wonder if hopes and dreams come true
Leading up to the moment you say I do

If a boy will ask to be your valentine
With a cute, little, cheesy pick up line

I wonder if there is such a thing as love at first sight
If somebody loves you will all of their might

I wonder if they really will write you a song
Telling about the days they watched you all along

I wonder if he really does writes a poem
Just to show that you don't know him

I wonder if he'll stand up and declare

Theres only two songs in me and I just wrote the third
Dont know where I got the inspiration or how I wrote the words
Spent my whole life just digging up my musics shallow grave
For the two songs in me and the third one I just made
A rich man once told me
Hey lifes a funny thing
A poor man once told me
That he cant afford to speak
Now Im in the middle like a bird without a beak cause

I dont know what Im searching for
I never have opened the door,
Tomorrow might find me at last,
Turning my back on the past,
But, time will tell, of stars that fell,
A million years ago.
Memories can never take you back, home, sweet home.
You can never go home anymore.
