Flavors
*there was a red light coughing up a room of blood
And there were forecast seven inches of snow
And there were two tunes playing in my head at once
Arguing guitar and drums
There was a lover standing by a bed
With a cigarette burning in her hand
And there were moonbeams playing on her porcelain flesh
*i caught the arrow while it shot
Company cars and shoes were never meant to play the blues,
You were the only fool I ever wanted to make love to.
Even within my youth I denied I wanted to,
You were the only fool I ever wanted to make love to.
But as her bed made ? ? ?
And there were weak spots only she could detect
And as I rolled over to block the ? ? ?
? ? ?
There was a blue light the other side of the door
*and there were four cats stretching our their claws
And there were two lovers separated by the telephone.
Company cars and shoes were never meant to play the blues,
You were the only fool I ever wanted to make love to.
Even within my youth I denied I wanted to,
cos you were the only fool I ever wanted to make love to.
Your flavors are getting to me
Your flavors are getting to me
Your flavors are getting to me
Your flavors are getting to me
Your flavors
Your flavors
Your flavors
Your flavors

Our cultures have different flavors,
That may be liked or disliked,
Our nations have different smells,

Really sell everywhere from the franchises.

Two Flavors
Two women flavors, cherry and vanilla,
describe two types of women, one trangressive,
the other bland, and for a ladykiller,
too boring if call yourself progressive.
Though ice cream flourishes with both these flavors,
in the case of women it is rare
for men to ask from the vanilla favors
associated just with cherries. Ordinaire,
wine can’t compete with wine whose pedigree
is noble, and what is bland cannot compete
with what excites the palate. You can’t flee
these flavors if you happen to love heat.
In an episode of the AMC drama Madmen, the advertising firm whose protagonists form the core of the drama are asked by Playtex to provide a new way of promoting bras. They suggest that the bras should appeal to the two sides of women, epitomized by Jacqueline Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, representing respectively vanilla and cherry flavors.

Candy Shoppe
Glass counter tops, sugar lollipops
penny candy, flavors of the week
rows of color, shades of caramel.
Survival boredom tasty, take a pick,
Singlism men sexy available; your choice.
Tranquility, serenity/flirtatious
neva to let any go to waste
that would be such a disgrace
No refunds only even exchanges,
No credit only crispy dallas /$.
Lap dance, dominoes or spades anyone?
Gifts or teases sorry Big Boi no dancing poles.
Maybe a hot lil something from them
secret hoes.
I’m sorry did I tell you I have
A man I’m off limits I just
keep order and run the show
but I can put you on to that
over thea one of those
chocolate pleasers.
She’ll come correct and say.
Games played right (wink) “hey you
Flirtin with me? You over there
Call me tonight.”
Candy Shoppe
confused about the flavors.
This one looks oh so good sticky/sweet
Lick your lips good
there’s no way you could loose.
They say there’s a million fish in the sea
Well there are that many flavors of candy to choose
If you feel you’re running out of flavors
When in doubt try mixing from 1 to 2
Or maybe even three….
The Candy Shoppe is such a beautiful
place to go & relax play some
games, spend some money
also time just be free.

Island Fever
Island fever
I think Ive got a touch of island fever
I do believe I feel a bit sauteed
This morning I was just some nonbeliever
Tonight I feel Ive joing a wild crusade
I never thought of life as being breezy
I never thought of time as time to play
I never thought that I could take it easy
But all those feelings changed for me today
Layers and layers of spices and flavors
Are finding their way to my brain
Layers and layers of costumes and players
That make my whole life look insane
Palm trees and views I cant believe
Why would I ever want to leave?
I think Ill take my shoes off and go walking
Down beside the caribbean sea.
I like the funny sounds of parrots squawking
I think I hear a hammock calling me.
Layers and layers of spices and flavors
Could this be some kind of charade?
Layers and layers of costumes and players
I think I will join the parade
Layers and layers of spices and flavors
Could this be some kind of charade?
Layers and layers of costumes and players
I think I will join the parade
I think Ive got a touch of island fever...

I've Done That
You wanted me to notice you,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to play your fool,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to ridicule.
And I've done that.
You wanted me to sit,
For nibbles and bits.
You wanted me to notice you,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to play your fool,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to ridicule.
And I've done that.
You wanted me to sit,
For nibbles and bits.
But I wont,
Beg from you at all.
And I wont,
Roll over or crawl.
And if I don't,
Play your favorite pet to fetch...
Know that I've left with no regrets,
And a respect...
You never gave me.
You wanted me to notice you,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to play your fool,
And I've done that.
You wanted me to ridicule.
And I've done that.
And when I leave,
You're gonna miss me.

No Darkness Can Satisfy This Need
I'm looking at the bright side.
I need to taste fresh flavors wasting.
Nobody can really do the blues like I do.
I want to dance to rhythms waiting.
Ones I chose to leave.
That sun is shining and smiling on me!
Today.
I'm depleted of defeat I greeted.
Had to sit and let it ride my back!
There is nothing about a sorrow sweeted...
With attacks I welcome to meet!
To keep and feed.
I'm looking at the bright side
I need to taste fresh flavors wasting.
Nobody can really do the blues like I do.
I'm pleased to free from shadows.
Shared by comfort givers.
Not one of them offering good chemistry!
Felt deep to pleasure.
With a measuring desire...
To apply to my eyes that grieved.
There is a fire burning in me...
Darkness can't satisfy.
I'm tired of skipping over my needs!
I'm looking at the bright side
I need to taste fresh flavors wasting.
Nobody can really do the blues like I do.
I want to dance to rhythms waiting.
Ones I chose to leave.
That sun is shining and smiling on me!
Today...
My dues are all paid!
I'm depleted of defeat I greeted.
Had to sit and let it ride my back!
There is nothing about a sorrow that's sweeted...
With attacks I welcome to meet!
To keep and feed.
Today I see me!
The me I'm free to be!
And no darkness can satisfy this need,
Since my grieving eyes have been released.

Someone To Love
Darling i, I was a fool, oh what a fool, I thought you were cool,
Now Im a victim of things that you do,
I just wanted someone to love, so I became a victim of love.
Lonely nights, spent all alone by a lonesome telephone,
You never called, youd never come,
I just wanted someone to love, so I became a victim for love.
Darling i, I was a fool and so you used me just like a clown,
Oh I just wanted someone to love, so I became a victim for love.
Mon cherie, jetais une folle, completement conne, tu netais pas con.
Je veux te baiser, tu le mal que tu mas fait,
Oh I just wanted someone to love, so I became a victim for love.
Why did you let go? why did I lose,
When did love slip away, I though we were always going to stay,
Oh baby, where were you when I needed you,
Oh I just wanted someone to love, so I became a victim of love.

Twilight
[female voice:]
Hi ga kureru
Sore wa toki no mahou
Asu onaji toki
Mata chigau mahou
Sore wa iro ga kaori ni
Kaori ga iro ni kawaru toki
Soshite kage wa kagirinai
Ao ni tokeru
The day falls into the twilight.
It is a magic of time.
The same time tommorrow,
Therell be another magic.
It is when colors turn to flavors,
And flavors turn to colors.
And it is when
Shadows melt into deep blue....

If I Wanted To
If I wanted to I could do anything right
I could dance with the devil on a
Saturday night
If I wanted to I could turn matches to gold
I could smoke drink swear and I would never
grow old
I wouldn't have to be in love with you
If I only wanted to
If I only wanted to
If I wanted to I could run fast as a train
Be as sharp as a needle that's twisting your brain
If I wanted to I could turn mountains to sand
Have political leaders in the palm of my hand
I wouldn't have to be in love with you
If I only wanted to
If I only wanted to
I could leave tonight
And I would be all right
Stop holding on
If I wanted to
If I only wanted to
If I wanted to I could be as patient as death
Fix this hole in my heart leaking into my flesh
If I wanted to I could turn sparks into ice
There'd never be another woman who could make you
think twice
I wouldn't have to be in love with you
If I only wanted to
If I only wanted to

(Growing Pains) Red Shoes Blues
This is a song which should be chanted! (Based on a childhood memory)
............................................. ................................................. ..............
Red shoes,
she wanted...
red shoes...
they had to be red she said,
they had to be red...
no way she could explain
when she was only three...
no way that she could dance
through her three-year-old day
without
red shoes...
red shoes...
she got the red shoes blues.
She wanted
stiletto heels...
stiletto heels...
stilet-tos...
stilet-tos...
she was fifteen
and there wasn’t any way
that she was going to dance
through her teenage day
without stilet...tos...
with those...
pointy toes...
she got the winkle-picker blues.
She wanted... high boots...
she wanted... ankle boots...
she wanted stamp-your-face
Bob Marten bovver boots...
she wanted... slippers
as wide as... kippers...
she wanted sandals
with wedge heels,
flip-flops and pumps...
she walks into a shoe-shop and everybody jumps...
And now she’s forty
it isn’t naughty...
to try ‘em, to buy ‘em,
not to walk on by ‘em...
But nothing ever beat those
red shoes...
red shoes...
the red shoes...
dancing through the day until you’re dead shoes...
red shoes...
red shoes....
she got the red shoes blues.

State Street
Crowded streets, people everywhere
shops lining both sides of the street
a little of everything, local and overseas
dress, shoes, bikes, clothing, a store for everyone
restaurants of all kind
Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, India, French, Italian
food for everyone
the shopping mecca for Madison
the landscape so beautiful
the outdoor tables, full of talkers and laptops
sipping on all flavors of coffees
so many people of all ages come
musicians playing every corner
the sounds so breathe taking
the bars of all flavors of beer
places for friends and family to meet
a day on state street is a marvelous time
tasting the different foods, enjoying the drinks
talking the chat, laughing along the way
an experience everyone should take
a enjoyable day, the price worth the pay
Madison a special blend of life
it's a culture of it own
opened minded and free to roam
State Street the heart of City

I Was A Fool
I don't lose my blues
When i pretend you're with me
Though i make believe
I'm still alone
When i think of you
My empty arms remind me
That my one true love has gone
I was a fool, that's why i cried over you
I was a fool, i only wanted you
When i smile so gay, everybody knows
That i've lost my love
But that's the way it goes
When i think of you
My empty arms remind me
That my one true love has gone
I was a fool, that's why i cried over you
I was a fool, i only wanted you

A Temptation For Us All
I reached for you without any hesitation and I must reminisce.
You tempted me with your promise of sweet unadulterated bliss.
This temptation sometimes can not be controlled, almost everyone can relate.
This temptation I write of can strike most of us from nine to ninety, so do not hate.
This temptation I write about is the magical food we call chocolate, and it's a great sensation.
Chocolate comes in an array of sizes, colors and flavors, to my great frustration.
There is milk, Swiss, dark, white, and a vast array of other flavors of chocolate for us all to try.
On this temptation I can not lie, but if I don't get any chocolate soon I feel like I might just die.
There is even chocolate covered bacon to my fascination.
Oh chocolate, you lure me with the greatest temptation.

Weak
(1) Lost in time
I can't count the words
I said when I thought
They went unheard
All of these harsh thought
So unkind
"Cause I wanted you
I wanted you
And now I sit here
I'm all alone
So here sits a bloody mess
Tears fly home
A circle of angels
Deep in war
'Cause I wanted you
I wanted you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Deep as I am
I'm no one's fool
Weak as I am
So what am I now
But love's last home
I'm all of the soft words
I once owned
If I opened my heart
There'd be no space for air
'cause I wanted you
I wanted you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
I'm too much for you
Deep as I am
I'm no one's fool
Weak as I am
With this changing soul
In this weak old heart
Oh baby, ain't I too much for you
With this changing soul
In this weak old heart
Oh baby, ain't I too much for you
[Repeat (1)]
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as 'I'm nobody's fool
Deep as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
I'm too much for you
Weak as I am
No tears for you
Weak as I am
I'm nobody's fool
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am
Weak as I am

I can finally feel theres a way out
I can finally feel love theres no doubt
I have been walking these streets for too long
looking for a way out only to do wrong
I used to do music because it was fun
the crowd used to love listening to the punchline come
they were all on their feet in the competition I won
I think I found it too hard to work out what I wanted
it was like a maths sum,
like my homework it was never done
I wanted fortune and fame
but I got scared when a stranger knew my name
I never wanted to be in what they call the game
I just wanted to be part of the music
it gives freedom and the love dies as soon as you loose it
cause your doing it for them and not for yourself
when your alone at a bus stop are they there to help?
they hear your song and they know how youve felt
but then they start telling you how you should feel
they start lecturing you on what is fake and real
when all I wanted to do was speak the truth
they wanted me to record gangster rap in the booth
I'm sorry to be what they wanted I had to refuse
cause rap is a game that too many people confuse
you can say its painted as something its not by the news
but really its these fake guys who make a couple of tunes
link up with a couple of guys and think there in crews
half of these popstars know nothing about rhythm and blues
you say you wanna lace a track
you barely know how to lace your shoes.
So in them keep walking on
and watch you don't trip into the pit of hell
because I was once a fool like you who almost fell,
but lying here now, I can see the gates of heaven
they are opening for me I can tell.

Make This House A Home
Well theres something in us living
Theres something you should know
There was a time for us to fall
Now its time to grow
But you know its not the way
That I intended it to be
Crossing hearts and killing souls
And trying to get down to whats real
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
All I needed was your hand to hold
I spent so much time alone
I needed your direction
But we re-aligned my broken bones
Well theyre running from a lifeless state
Somehow we lost our hold
All we have with us is change
Left over from what started out as gold
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
Im holding you responsible for every word I say
If you feel the brokenness
Wont you try and look the other way
I never meant to be so low
I only wanted you to see
That time was healing someone else
But its tearing apart the very heart of me
This is what I give to you
Its flesh and blood
Its body and soul
Wont you take whats left of who I am
And try to see it whole
All I ever wanted was to make this house a home
I let go of sinking sand - wont you help me find a stone
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
All I ever wanted
Was to make this house a home
So make this house a home
Make this house a home
Make this house a home

Touch, Feel Lose
I knew I was never gonna talk to you tomorrow
And oh, the birds how they sing
If you were a bird could you sing me a song of sorrow
cause all I know from you is grief
But I never wanted to be your rolling train
I never wanted to be your dancin shoes
I just wanted you to love me
I just wanted you to love me
Touch, feel & lose
And cry, cry, cry
I thought maybe I could be some kind of shelter
But oh, your storm how it raged
You know your kisses, they like lightnin and thunder
And your smile is sweet and come down like rain
I never wanted to be your dancin shoes
I just wanted you to love me
I just wanted you to love me
Touch, feel & lose
And cry, cry, cry
I just wanted you to love me, honey
Cry, cry, cry
