What an absurd thing it is to pass over all the valuable parts of a man, and fix our attention on his infirmities.

However Absurd
Ears twitch, like a dog, breaking eggs in a dish.
Do not mock me when I say this is not a lie.
Its funny thing, half serious, with our hands on our ears.
Living dreams with mouths ajar, wide awake, we go to sleep.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
Something special between us, when we mmade love the game was over.
I couldnt say the words, words wouldnt get ny feelings through,
So I keep talking to you...
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
Custom made dinosaurs, too late now, for a change.
Everything is under the sun, but nothing is for keeps...
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.
However absurd, however absurd... it may seem.

The Value Of Innocence
I ONCE HAD A MOST VALUABLE POSSESION,
MORE VALUABLE THAN GOLD AND SILVER,
MORE VALUABLE THAN DIAMONDS AND RUBBIES,
YEA, EVEN MORE VALUABLE THAN BRIMSTONE,
NOW I LIVE WITHOUT MY MOST CHERISHED POSSESION,
YEA, NOW I LIVE WITHOUT MY INNOCENCE!
YEA, I HAVE LOST MY IGNORANCE!
NOW, ALL I HAVE IS WISDOM, AND KNOWLEDGE,
CLOTHED WITH COAL AND LORBS,
YET, MY MOST VALUED POSSESION WAS MY INNOCENCE AND IGNORANCE,
YEA, IT WAS INDEED MORE VALUABLE THAN ALL THE WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD!

Pulling myself together for M'lady Ann Beard
In dreams I can communicate
with disparate parts of me.
I’m learning to appreciate.
The frightening complexity
Of the different parts of me.
Which I must balance constantly
A task I must face every day
so they combine to make me, me..
I am a father and a son.
I am a brother and a friend.
The endless list goes on and on.
It seems as though it has no end.
Somehow I manage to control
at least the parts on public view.
The scattered parts which make the whole
But still conceal a thing or two.
The parts of me I need to change.
I’m sure I can do given time.
Some parts of me are weird and strange.
Like creatures from an earlier time.
The Id tries to assert its will.
The ego sure to disagree.
The super ego bids them both be still.
I just accept they’re part of me.
When other people look at me.
I wonder if they wonder too
If they can see reality.
I am not certain that I do.

the Self
the self is a mountain
you can go exploring
some parts are not reachable
and some parts so riveting
you just wish to sing them songs
some parts are caves you can shout
and hear your own echoes
some parts are a make belief
haunted house you can frighten yourself with
some parts are chambers of
mysteries you can get lost on your own

I am glad that I paid so little attention to good advice; had I abided by it I might have been saved from some of my most valuable mistakes.

Importance
The thing that is important
Is not the thing that is good.
Importance is a quality
That entails attention
From one or a certain sect.
A focus of attention;
It leads to a value judgment
That grows in consciousness
To get integrated into it.
The type of value you build
Is there to influence your actions.

We live in a time which has created the art of the absurd. It is our art. It contains happenings, Pop art, camp, a theater of the absurd ... Do we have the art because the absurd is the patina of waste...? Or are we face to face with a desperate or most rational effort from the deepest resources of the unconscious of us all to rescue civilization from the pit and plague of its bedding?

Theatre Of The Absurd
(ian hunter)
My tea turned seven shades darker
As I sit n write these words
And londons gettin paler
In my theatre of the absurd.
You figured for an evening
And you made it all worthwile.
Its seldom people have a job
And even rarer that I smile.
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Teach your children to be them
And never ever ours.
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Someone took the park away
But they left a lonely flower.
And if your songs be classics,
Throw them to the hurd.
Truth is where they came from
And not this theatre of the absurd.
Some say you wanted to play for me
But its only what youve heard
That made you want to capture me
In your theatre of the absurd.
It was not me, I said myself
And you must do so, too.
I hope you have the strength to stay
When Ill be watchin you.
So baby,
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Teach your children to be them
And never ever ours.
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Someone took the park away
But they left a lonely flower.
Oh when I got here back home tonight
Something within me stirred.
Oh it must have been a different kind of play
That touched my theatre of the absurd.
Now Ill be on my way alone
But an interesting thing occurred
See nobody ever shared too much
In my theatre of the absurd.
And there I was back in london,
Thought about history.
It was just like being in school again
But I felt something movin in me.
Hearin just a bit of the future,
Oh its comin and its still blurred
And thats the only thing worth living for
In my theatre of the absurd.
Come on,
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Teach your children to be them
And never ever ours.
Oh play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Someone took the park away
But they left a lonely flower.
(beautiful)
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
(john, come on)
Play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Oh, play me some, (come on, eric) play me some,
Play me brixton power.
Oh, play me some, play me some,
Play me brixton power.

Victory be theirs
The tar in the streets more valuable than the soil on which they sleep
The tag on my shirt more valuable than their bed positioned in dirt
The crown on my head more valuable than seeing them dead
The victory of our team
The goals for which we dream
The bank account
The dance about
The car we drive
The randela for which we thrive
Our comfort
Our pleasure
Every accomplished treasure
More than
the breath they breathe
the water they drink
the food they eat
and the thought they speak
Victory be theirs

The Most Valuable
Which is the most valuable?
‘My life’ said all men alike.
Nothing is the most valuable
That man is willingly possesses.

So interviews are a valuable tool, but under certain circumstances they'd be more valuable than others.
Well, I mean, we are developing the other parts, and we can't give quite all our attention to the upper part, but soon the lower parts will be developed, and the upper part and the lower part will become partners, that will be wonderful.

Hercules
My life is a valuable thing
I want to keep it that way, I wont cry
My lifes such a valuable thing
Some things dont fade away, I dont mind
We give the best we can give
We wont forget, we cant forgive
Keep us radioactive free
Strike a bell in hiroshima park
You know that we cant see in the dark
We try and we try and we try...
Who waits for the planes to come
When everybodys got you on the run
South pacific carry on
It seems to me that what were saying
Nobody really wants to talk about it
This is no time to be wondering why
I do the best I can do
The human jungle and the global zoo
Ill find my way its a very special way
Why wait for the planes to come
When everybodys got us on the run
South pacific carry on
Here come the hercules
Here come the submarines
Sinking south pacific dreams

Happiness and the absurd are two sons of the same earth. They are inseparable. It would be a mistake to say that happiness necessarily springs from the absurd discovery. It happens as well that the feeling of the absurd springs from happiness.
