Lightning Strikes The Postman

I got yer letter it had turned to sand, lighting strikes the postman in
His hand, I hope that you remember the things you had to say, its just
A supernatural delay... I got yer package it was all a mess, lightning strikes
The postman in his chest, I hope that you remember the things you
Had to
Say, its just a supernatural delay...
I sent you a postcard and I hope yer fine
But lightning strike the postman all the time
I couldnt really think of anything to say
Its just a supernatural delay,
And its hard to read the writing through the flames...

Please Mr. Postman

( stop )
Oh yes, wait a minute
Mister postman
( wait )
Wait mister postman
(*) please mister postman look and see
( oh yeah )
If there's a letter in your bag for me
( please, please, mister postman )
Why's it takin' such a long time
( oh yeah )
For me to hear from that boy of mine
There must be
Some word today
From my boyfriend
So far away
Please mister postman
Look and see
If there's a letter
A letter for me
I've been standin' here
Waitin' mister postman
So patiently
For just a card
Or just a letter
Sayin' he's returning'
Home to me
Repeat (*)
So many days
You passed me by
See the tears
Standin' in my eyes
You didn't stop
To make me feel better
By leavin' me
A card or a letter
Repeat (*)
( why don't you check it and see one more time
For me you gotta )
Wait a minute, wait a minute...
( mister postman )
Mister postman look and see
( c'mon deliver the letter, the sooner, the better )

Supernatural
Supernatural
Supernatural
Lookin for that big honey
Youll find only in a dream
I searched around and still cant find her
? ? ? to extreme
Turned around, she caught my eye
Tell me am I seein things
Just might be imagination
? ? ? and hauntin me
This woman (supernatural)
The way she looks (supernatural)
The way she moves her body (supernatural)
Everything about this honey is so supernatural
Supernatural
As I watch her move in closer
Perfect beauty she exceeds
Never question mother nature
Shes an angel without wings
Her extension fills my body
I reach out to hold her hand
Tried to grab it, cant get a handle
The girl is gone, she was never here
This woman, yeah (supernatural)
The way she looks, uh-huh (supernatural)
The way she moves her body (supernatural)
Something about that woman that makes me feel so good
(supernatural)
The way she looks (supernatural)
Supernatural baby, yeah (supernatural)
Everything about this honey is so supernatural
Im tired of this cloud
Takin over the invisible force
Are they controllin me
Naw, thats a corny way I think
I take two beasts out to rethink
Im takin each in my dream
This is kind of extreme
Yo ron, help me out
You know what I mean
Yeah, biv
Its not that deep
Come go with me
And out that ghost to sleep
(? ? ? ) how shes possessin me
(? ? ? ) shes meta physical, super irical
(? ? ? ) might be imagination
(? ? ? ) cause everything about this, honey, I love
Alright
(supernatural) the way that she moves, mmm
(supernatural) theres no doubt about it, yeah, yeah
(supernatural) oh, I know heaven must have sent you from above
(supernatural), yeah...
(supernatural) ooh...hoo...hoo...ooh...
(supernatural) say, baby, say, baby
If Im dreamin, if Im dreamin please dont wake me up, yeah
(supernatural)

Supernatural

Built a king on compliments
Charisma, and advertisements
Still they see him shimmering ephemeral
If it aint supernatural
If it aint supernatural
Supernatural, or maybe
It was an out of body experience
Yes I flew around
A hospital room once
On intreveneous demerol
You werent supernatural
Supernatural, or maybe
A sudden smell
A certain view
Sparked a whoppin case
Of the deja vu
Is it inexplicable?
No,no,no it aint
Supernatural
Supernatural, or maybe

The Wicked Postman

Why do you sit there on the floor so quiet and silent, tell me,
mother dear?
The rain is coming in through the open window, making you all
wet, and you don't mind it.
Do you hear the gong striking four? It is time for my brother
to come home from school.
What has happened to you that you look so strange?
Haven't you got a letter from father today?
I saw the postman bringing letters in his bag for almost
everybody in the town.
Only father's letters he keeps to read himself. I am sure the
postman is a wicked man.
But don't be unhappy about that, mother dear.
Tomorrow is market day in the next village. You ask your maid
to buy some pens and papers.
I myself will write all father's letters; you will not find
a single mistake.
I shall write from A right up to K.
But, mother, why do you smile?
You don't believe that I can write as nicely as father does!
But I shall rule my paper carefully, and write all the letters
beautifully big.
When I finish my writing do you think I shall be so foolish
as father and drop it into the horrid postman's bag?
I shall bring it to you myself without waiting, and letter by
letter help you to read my writing.
I know the postman does not like to give you the really nice
letters.

A Well-wisher offered me a Bicycle!

Dear Friends,
My tumbledown car
Ran to the junk yard!
And a Well-wisher
Offered me a Bicycle!
I start my journey again
Along the gravel roads.
And I changed my resume.
Please do not laugh
And I have submitted my humble application
For the post of Postman with my bike.
That may go to the History
An old Postman with a Bicycle in America!
And I promise you all to deliver New Year greetings
Without any delay,
If everything goes smoothly!

I don't remember deciding to become a writer. You decide to become a dentist or a postman. For me, writing is like being gay. You finally admit that this is who you are, you come out and hope that no one runs away.

Believe In The Supernatural

(graham russell)
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Im going back just a few years
All people used to seem tall
When everyday would be voices calling
Id take no notice at all
Id take no notice at all
Then when I asked if youd held conversation
I was the talk of the town
Until the voice let me see in the future
They didnt look so way down
I have to make them listen
Or they may never come back
I have to make them listen now
(chorus)
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
Believe in the supernatural
And so I heard and I saw something happening
They were just like you and me
But they were wiser and all had the messages
We really had to believe
We really had to believe
They showed me how the world keeps on turning
Its not as hard as it seems
So many secrets you wouldnt believe it
They manufacture our dreams
I have to make you listen
Or they may never come back
I have to make you listen now
(chorus)
I was afraid of things that I cant see
I cant see love but I like it a lot
I used to take a life in the back seat
Until the front row began to move off
There must be more to sleep than waking
I was so sure there was something waiting there
(chorus)
Im going back just a few years
All people used to seem tall
When everyday would be voices calling
Id take no notice at all
Id take no notice at all
Then when I asked if youd held conversation
I was the talk of the town
Until the voice let me see in the future
They didnt look so way down
I have to make you listen
Or they may never come back
I have to make you listen now

Now Life or death didn’t matter to me

I wrote a letter to her
Filled it with choicest words
Expressing
My love and desire for her
Full of hope
Kept waiting for days
Lost my peace, lost my sleep
Waiting for the postman
To bring a message from her
My heart pained
Anxiety increased
I did not hear from her
I didn’t know what to do
Kept praying to god
One day the postman came
The address was not correct he said
Returned the letter back to me
I decided to give my life away
Ran towards the river bridge
To jump into the river beneath
There I saw somebody jumped
Before I could
A letter was lying on the ground
I picked the letter
Read it with a heavy heart
To learn it was written by her
She ended her life
Waiting to hear from me
She could not contact me
As I had changed my house
I became a living, dead
Now Life or death
Didn’t matter to me

Lightning Never Strikes Twice

Let the wind blow you out of my memory
Let the rain wash you out of my eyes
Too many bad times of loving you
Now I gotta realize
That I can throw you right out of my mind
And put you right back in your place
Cause lightning never strikes twice in the same place
I can live without loving you
Carry on in the same old way
Do anything I wanna do
Say what I wanna say
Cause I can throw you right out of my mind
And put you right back in your place
Cause lightning never strikes twice in the same place
Lightning strike
Lightning strike
Your kind of woman just drags me down
Want to put me on a ball and chain
I was king till you took my crown
I wanna win it back again
Cause I can throw you right out of my mind
And put you right back in your place
Cause lightning never strikes twice in the same place
Lightning strike
Lightning strike

Letter To Heaven

An old man was sitting at his table one day
Writing a letter to pass time away
His little granddaughter climbed up on his knee
Saying wont you please write a letter for me
Oh what must I say in this letter I pray
Tell mommy I miss her since she went away
I coming to see her real soon I hope
He choked back a big lump that rose in his throat
He sealed it and wrote on that big envelope
To God up in heaven youll get it I hope
He stamped it and handed it to her to mail
Her big eyes were shining her little face pale
She was crossing the street to the box oer the way
And when she stepped out never looked either way
A big auto hit her and sped away fast
The little girls prayers had been answered at last
The postman was passing and picked up the note
Addressed to the master and these words he spoke
Straight up into heaven this letter did go
Shes happy up there with her mommy I know

Postman

My eyes are ticking towards door
I am restless and rolling on floor
I have spent sleepless night
So much to loose without any fight

In olden days, the postman was prime figure
We will run towards him for making it sure
The letter must be delivered in our hand
Else it would be love failure with tragic end

She had promised me to write in return
I had seen in her eyes clear positive turn
She was very much willing and eager
I too felt the same and became anxious either

I heard the footsteps of old man with post bag
He was inching forward by wearing the postman’s tag
He was addressed as postman uncle
Very honored figure and known in circle

He is fortune teller for all
Good smile comes at letters arrival
No one ignores this gentleman but always welcome
As he is the medium for all good or bad things to come

He is the only one man in entire village
Known as calm person having come off with the age
Has spent entire life and ably managed
You can depict him as most wanted man on page

There may be many more waiting for good news
Some may be very eager to receive the dues
Some may be waiting for the quick reviews
As a whole he wanted by all and not by few

I still remember his mild smile
He had brought a letter which had traveled from miles
It carried my soul mate’s sentiments
How happy was I when received with those comments?

Even if I have to pay any special homage
I shall do it for him and inscribe as sage
No one can deliver the happiness and smile
As he does it for society and village as well

The Mind

There rings the bell
The dream strikes hard
Awakening the girl
A dream so bad

There comes joy
The thoughts strike hard
Happy is the boy
In the end gets mad
There goes hope
Night strikes hard
Man hangs on a rope
A story so sad

There sounds the gun
Day dream strikes hard
The woman can't run
Just waits for the blood

There comes war
The life strikes hard
All on the floor
In the red liquid flood.

Lightning Strikes

Wont you listen cos Im at it again
Lightning striking and on that you can depend
They say that lightning never strikes the same place twice
Gods of thunder sit and watch the event
You know I take no prisoners
My backs to the wall
You know I must be going
When destiny calls
Until I feel that thunder shattering my brain
I wont stop
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again
Tell your mama that youre gonna be late
But not to worry well just be rockin all night
The lightning strikes before you hear the thunder roar
Were becoming the children of the night
Im not apologizing
I am what I am
There is no compromising
I dont give a damn
Until I feel the thunder boiling in my veins
I wont stop
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again
Oh no Ive lost control
Here we got its only rock n roll
The silver light is flashing
As all turns to gold
In my head voices screaming
And Im being told
If you will only listen you will hear them too
I wont stop
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again
Rockin all night rockin all night
Until the lightning strikes again

Friends Will Be Friends Will Be Friends ...

Friends Will Be Friends Will Be Friends . . .
Written by John Deacon, Freddie Mercury
Friends will be friends
Friends will be friends
Friends will be friends
Friends will be friends
Friends will be friends
Another red letter day
So the pound has dropped and the children are creating
The other half ran away
Taking all the cash and leaving you with the lumber
Got a pain in the chest
Doctors on strike what you need is a rest
It's not easy love, but you've got friends you can trust
Friends will be friends
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention
Friends will be friends
When you're through with life and all hope is lost
Hold out your hand 'cos friends will be friends - right till the end
Now it's a beautiful day
The postman delivered a letter from your lover
Only a 'phone call away
You tried to track him down but somebody stole his number
As a matter of fact
You're getting used to life without him in your way
It's so easy now, 'cos you got friends you can trust
Friends will be friends
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention
Friends will be friends
When you're through with life and all hope is lost
Hold out your hand 'cos friends will be friends - right till the end
It's so easy now, 'cos you got friends you can trust
Friends will be friends
When you're in need of love they give you care and attention
Friends will be friends
When you're through with life and all hope is lost
Hold out your hand 'cos right till the end - friends will be friends
Yeah yeah

When lightning strikes out

When lightning strikes out,
disappears far over the horizon,
when lightning strikes out
flaming suddenly blue-white to below,
when the sun disappears behind clouds
big drops do appear;
when lightning strikes out.

Lightning Strikes

Boys, it looks, are ready to rumble
The word on the street some heads are gonna tumble
Blades gonna flash when streets gang clash
In the avenue tonight
When the lightning strikes
Zip gun johnnys finger is itchin
The lids gonna blow up in hells kitchen
Its an eye for an eye
And a tooth for a tooth
Its so ruthless when they fight
When the lightning strikes
And its free for all in the parking lot
And wholl rule the street
And the night explodes
When the cops bring down the heat
And the chains they crash like thunder
While the weak ones all retreat
Gotta draw first blood
Or theyll read your funeral rights
When the lightning strikes
Its dog eat dog when you meet your rival
And the combat zone its your means of survival
Gonna get last licks on a suicide blitz
With a broken dagger knife
When the lightning strikes
And its free for all in the parking lot
And wholl rule the street
And the night explodes
When the cops bring down the heat
And the chains they crash like thunder
While the weak ones all retreat
Gotta draw first blood
Or theyll read your funeral rights
Oh, oh...
When the lightning strikes
When the lightning strikes
When the lightning strikes
Lightning and thunder
When the lightning strikes...

A Sick Child

The postman comes when I am still in bed.
"Postman, what do you have for me today?"
I say to him. (But really I'm in bed.)
Then he says - what shall I have him say?

"This letter says that you are president
Of - this word here; it's a republic."
Tell them I can't answer right away.
"It's your duty." No, I'd rather just be sick.

Then he tells me there are letters saying everything
That I can think of that I want for them to say.
I say, "Well, thank you very much. Good-bye."
He is ashamed, and turns and walks away.

If I can think of it, it isn't what I want.
I want . . . I want a ship from some near star
To land in the yard, and beings to come out
And think to me: "So this is where you are!

Come." Except that they won't do,
I thought of them. . . . And yet somewhere there must be
Something that's different from everything.
All that I've never thought of - think of me!

Were There Hope

I was never in a league of noble gentlemen
To whom she'd cast polite and flitting smiles,
Only distant hope and dying dreams for me!
Or perhaps descent into a game of wiles

To give a chance of sipping wine on heady nights
With her angelic presence to declare;
Above, an aura playing out hypnotic hues,
And I in awe of blonde cascades of hair.

But no! my tiring soul is sinking in a mire
To haunt me for an age and evermore, for
How could I expect to hold her silken hand
When I am but a soulless ghost of yore?
