Bad Days
Youre sorta stuck where you are
But, in your dreams you can buy expensive cars,
Or live on mars
And have it your way
And you hate your boss at your job
Well in your dreams you can blow his head off
In your dreams
Show no mercy
And all your bad days will end
And all your bad days will end
You have to sleep late when you can
And all your bad days will end
(repeat)

Now-a-days
Now-a-days
Whenever I sleep
I dream bad dreams
And when I wake up
Anxieties grasp me
Like a python!
Now-a-days
The girls are like
Characters of a movie to me
And my hopes are like
A setting sun!
Now-a-days
Sometimes I think
If I had a time-machine
I would change my past!
Now-a-days
It seems, it's too late
To change even myself!

These Are The Days
Ah ah
Heres a song
About living in the past
If it was so good then
How come it didnt last?
If it helps you
Ill put it in a phrase
Those were the times
But these are the days
These are the days
These are the days
These are the days
These are the days
These are the days
The times youre smiling back on
Had that great sitcom
It hardly compensated
For the terror of the bomb
Let me help
cause youre looking through a haze
Those were the times
These are the days
These are the days
Hey hey hey
These are the days
Can you hear me now?
These are the days
Look around look around look around
These are the days
These are the days
Hey hey live today
These are the days
Its time to put the past away
These are the days
The more you do the more you say
These are the days
The more I need to get away
Youre longing for a time
There never was
Now tell me the truth
Youre looking for the reason
Its because
Youre fighting for youth
But if I have to listen any more
To fantasy talk
Or any other bug you have
Im leaving
Now Im not saying
Everything is really great
Hey hey hey
After sixteen years
Of legalised class hate
Why waste time
Looking back for things to praise?
Those were the times huh
But these are the days
These are the days
Looking back in history
These are the days
Time to get contempory
These are the days
The past is not the place to be

(music: marillion lyrics: steve hogarth)
Even if the good old days were good
Even if the old days were golden days
The past is a terrible place to live
Misguided missiles, skin creams and cars
Loaded with dreams, pretty faces Im loaded with stories
Im loaded with dreams
Loaded with ambition
Im loaded with live ammunitions
Saving up for linda, saving up for pam
Saving up for naomi, I can therefore I am
Savin up for mary, savin up for jane
1000 pieces all over the room
Lets do it again
Icon therefore I am
Loaded with dreams, loaded with life
I only wish you knew
How hard it is for me to spare
This kind of thing with you
And if you sense a smokesceen here
A trick of dry ice

22,000 Days
Even tho I know its only
Me and my dreams
That drive me so let me go please
Let me go onto tomorrow
One day at a time
Now I know the only foe is time
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show and this time
Feel the flow and get it right
Now the time when I first saw you is over and gone
Then I knew my life with you would go on
Knowing you so much longer
Ive change in mind change for you
You have changed to mine
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show and this time
Feel the flow and get it right
Everybody knows, it always shows
Wasting times an aggravation
Got no time for confrontation
You want to take a lot
By love by law or stealth
Times the only real wealth you have got
Even tho I know its only me and my dreams
That drive me so let me go please
Let me go onto tomorrow
One day at a time
Now I know the only foe is time
22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know

22,000 days, 22,000 days its not alot,
Its all you got 22,000 days
22,000 nights, 22,000 nights, its all you know
So start the show 22,000 ways

Oh Happy Days
Oh happy days,
Everyone likes you.
Oh happy days,
Please stay today.
Oh happy days,
Sweet like honey.
Oh happy days,
loving family ties.
Oh happy days,
Giving us strength.
Oh happy days,
Children out playing.
Oh happy days,
On the green grass.
Oh happy days,
With boundless optimism.
Oh happy days,
I give thanks.
Oh happy days,
Dreaming for more.
Oh happy days,
Warm and bright.
Oh happy days,
Like love eternal.
Oh happy days,
And glad memories.
Oh happy days,
New hope prayers.
Oh happy days,
With smiling faces.
Oh happy days,
Holidays and health.
Oh happy days,
With close friends.
Oh happy days,
Generous and giving.
Oh happy days,
Shiny rainbow dreams.
Oh happy days,
Till the very end.
Oh happy days,
Always and forever.
Amen.

Rock n Roll Lullaby
Listen while I sing you to sleep
With a rock n roll lullaby
Close your eyes and dont you peep
This is a rock n roll lullaby
Sandmans gonna get you
Snuggle down your sleepy head
Its gettin late the sandman said
Your dreams are waiting
Its daybreak in the land of nod
So get to sleep you little sod
Your dreams are waiting
And if you get a nightmare
Would you go and shake your ma
Cause your daddys been a workin all day
And if you go and get a glass of water by yourself
You can show us that youre older than you are
Show us that youre older
The sandmans gonna get you
Well youre too small to understand
Youre living in a wonderland
Your dreams are waitin
If only we could be there too
And dream a dream along with you
Your dreams are waitin
Careful that you dont get out the wrong side of the cot
Are you gonna be an angel or a devil
Youre too small to reason what is right and what is wrong
Childhood dreams are gone too fast
Theres no way we can make them last
Well always love you anyway
Any way you are
Any way you are

Dreams...Rivers Of The Night
Dreams are rivers of the night
A place in which the mind shakes free
The conscious bands that hold us tight
And sails us out into mystery
Maiden voyages into seas so deep
Vivid montages of experience strange
Not bound by banks within to keep
Nor limits set within to range
Suspension of reason, dwells in the night
Helplessly carried upon dreams cold river
Exposed to experience, never allowed in daylight
Strange deeds, strange thoughts, make us shiver
If Dreams are rivers of the night
Then what are days, just what might they be?
Which one is false…and which is right?
And in which one would you rather be?
For who can say beyond a doubt
Which is reality and which is not
Is awake really being up and about
Or is dreaming of being awake… our lot
If Dreams are rivers of the night
Then could days be dreams of another kind?
Could the rivers of the night be the true and the right
And days a nightmare to which we’re blind
Dreams are rivers of the night
That’s what most people would say
Tell me I‘m dreaming…show me the light
It seems like a nightmare…show me the way

I Believe In Dreams
I believe in dreams,
The only light to a future,
Not yet sure,
Yet felt.
I believe in dreams,
For by their dreams,
Nations were born,
In barren farmlands.
I believe in dreams,
Beyond imagination,
My only hope of
Genuine fulfillment.
I believe in dreams,
Watch me wallow,
In what my days will be,
From posterity's heart.
I believe in dreams,
The wine of later,
I feel and taste,
In eager anticipation.

sleep now baby it is late
dreams, have some dreams
you need dreams to appease you
i will not be with you
anymore
come summer time
the sun shines in full glory
and i will be with my sunflowers
the wind
and the moon and some stars to carry me away
from my previous rainy days,
so sleep now,
dream about the sunflowers and let your hair flow freely
with the wind,
forget him for a while, think some more,
destiny awaits you
with so much anticipation,
without plans.

Long Way Home
The other night I took the long way home
Out past the old schoolyard
Its funny how you keep it all inside
Dreams they do die hard
I closed my eyes and I could see your face
Somewhere back in time
One summer night a million miles ago
Back when you were mine
Say yes, say no, say that Im grabbing at shadows
But dont carve the words in stone
I know its late
But cant you see I was only
Taking the long way home
Sometimes its easy to get all wrapped up
In trying to be free
And all those dreams I sailed away to find
Were right in front of me
Say yes, say no, say that Im grabbing at shadows
But dont carve the words in stone
One of these days
Youre gonna see I was only
Taking the long way home
Although the letters stopped many years ago
Ill show you even time could not keep this heart
From letting go
The other night I took the long way home
Out past the old schoolyard
Its funny how you keep it all inside
Dreams they do die hard
Say yes, say no, say that Im grabbing at shadows
But dont leave me here all alone
One of these days
Youre gonna see I was only
Taking the long way home
Say yes, say no
But dont leave me here all alone
One of these days
Youre gonna see I was only
Taking the long way home

See You In Your Dreams
The partys over, and babys in the corner
Shes all alone for the night
You pick up the phone, you want to go home
Well dry your eyes, its alright, its alright
See you, feel you in your dreams tonight
See you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
When youre in the room, youre home too soon
You cant get me out of your mind
And you get in bed, you cover your head
My letter to you is signed
And this is what Im sayin
See you, feel you in your dreams tonight
See you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight, dreams tonight
See you, see you, feel you in your dreams tonight

State Of Dreams
Woke up at the break of day
Something chased my dreams away
Isnt it quite strange the way we live
Youre so pretty, youre so sweet
I like to watch you in your sleep
Id give a million if I knew your name
And all I need is to be with you
In a state of dreams - a state of dreams
Thats where I want it to be with you
In a state of dreams - a state of dreams
Love is such a fractured thing
Its splinters slither in our skin
Isnt it quite strange the way we play
Turn off the lights and come to bed
Forget the dreadful things Ive said
Lets wait until the stars come up and we will go our way
Cause all I need is to be with you
In a state of dreams - a state of dreams
Thats where I want it to be with you
In a state of dreams - a state of dreams
Woke up at the break of day...
Something chased my dreams away...

Ill tell you how my day has been,

Day 1
Happy days!
Days of fun
Days of shine
Days of sun
Happy days!
Days I won
Days I earned
Today has just begun
Happy days!
Days I dread
To wake up
With a burning head
Happy days!
For which I wait
With furnished fear
And hollow hate.
Sweet Dreams
(graham russell)
This is the time when you need a friend
You just need someone near
Im not looking forward to the night I will spend
Thinking of you when youre not here
How many times will I think about the things
Id like to do
Always denied the right to live my life the way I want
I want to share it with you
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams
Ill think of your kiss as the days roll by
And Ill write the words you love
And what I cant say in a letter
Will just have to wait till I get home
Ooh theres not much time to tell you half the things I should
Only that Im so glad I fell in love with you
And Id do it again if I could
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams
(repeat chorus)
Sleep like a child resting deep
You dont know what you give me I keep
For these moments alone
(chorus)
Close your eyes I want to ride the skies
In my sweet dreams
Close your eyes I want to see you tonight
In my sweet dreams

Days Like This
When its not always raining therell be days like this
When theres no one complaining therell be days like this
When everything falls into place like the flick of a switch
Well my mama told me therell be days like this
When you dont need to worry therell be days like this
When no ones in a hurry therell be days like this
When you dont get betrayed by that old judas kiss
Oh my mama told me therell be days like this
When you dont need an answer therell be days like this
When you dont meet a chancer therell be days like this
When all the parts of the puzzle start to look like they f it
Then I must remember therell be days like this
When everyone is up front and theyre not playing tricks
When you dont have no freeloaders out to get their kicks
When its nobodys business the way that you wanna live
I just have to remember therell be days like this
When no one steps on my dreams therell be days like this
When people understand what I mean therell be days like this
When you ring out the changes of how everything is
Well my mama told me therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this
Oh my mama told me
Therell be days like this

Sleep
And my eyes shut tight as the eyes of dark slip away
And Ill drift through dreams till the dawn of the day
When the sun comes up and Ill be here alone
Time plays the same joke again
Where it drags out forever a longer
Always could last only seconds as shorter
Those sweet hours when youre here by my side
And all these days are never ending
All the time life grew long and bye
Ill sleep long and well tonight
Because in dreams youre in my sight
When eyelids shut Im not lonely anymore
And everything within the world is right
And a voice on wire is a sad replication if best put
The phone is the only means that I have
To bridge the lonely distance back to you
Hang up and long for your touch
Which Ive missed now for weeks since aside
That being apart isnt easier with time
I can only count the seconds until I hold
And all these days are never ending
All the time life grew long and bye
Ill sleep long and well tonight
Because in dreams youre in my sight
When eyelids shut Im not lonely anymore
And everything within the world is right
Ill sleep long and well tonight
Because in dreams youre in my sight
When eyelids shut Im not lonely anymore
And everything within the world is right

Field Of Dreams
May tomorrow bring you sunshine
as you kiss the sky
in this field of dreams
alone here, you stand
lost little dandelion
soaking up the morning sun
Love flowing like streams
torn apart at the seams
summer days are never gone
with just one promise in your hand
yesterday memories
blowing in the breeze
still never lost in time
You listen to every dropp of rain
fall like teardrops outside your window
in this field of dreams
you never let go
we hide behind the pain
this love so vein
Days so bitter sweet
days that never end
nights that just pass by
in this field of dreams
its only you and I
where our love will mend
And hearts tortured it seems
there is where we will meet
in this field of dreams
where we will never die
In this field of dreams
I'm still lonely on these streets
waiting here for you to be mine

Jenny Rebecca
(carol hall)
Jenny rebecca, four days old
How do you like the world so far
Jenny rebecca, four days old
What a lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky girl you are
For you have swings to be swung on
Trees to be climbed up
Days to be young on
Toys you can wind up
Grass to be lying on
Sun up above
Pillows for crying on
When youre in love
Ponies for riding on
Wind in your hair
Slides to be sliding on
Leaves in the air
Dolls to be caring for
Love to be giving
Dreams to be daring for
Long as youre living
Yes, you have dreams to be daring for
Long as youre living
Jenny rebecca, four days old
What a lucky, lucky, lucky, lucky girl you are
